  1. At a time when women's rights issues are at the forefront in media, what better timing for Darshan to try and gain popularity by showing himself as supporting women's rights and pathetically showing that he played a role in bringing down Gobind Ram by putting in place a Morchaa. Read for yourself: http://.org/newspics/2013/01%20Jan%202013/01%20Jan%2013/01%20Jan%2013%20PDS%20reg%20Batala%20protest%208%20sept%201987.htm Make sure you save a copy as well, because they always take things down and then say "it was edited".
  2. They always keep on talking and acting as if they respect Guru Granth Sahib Jee way more than anyone else. Yet their true colours come out all the time. The same way they treat Dasam Granth Pothis and Bani, they also treat Guru Granth Sahib Bani and related literature as well.
  3. Thanks to everyone's efforts and contributions in this topic. Those are indeed the videos we are talking about. If we ask them, their groups and their followers, they would all give a totally opposite answer to what you have said. They consider themselves Sikh. Everyone else is a "Kalka-Panthi", and "Dasam Granthi" etc. Infact, they are now creating their own groups and constantly going around doing so-called Katha telling everyone what a real Sikh is according to Guru Granth Sahib and Sikh Rehat Mariyada. It is very important to show the true colours of these individuals and their mindsets.
  4. Out of respect for the topic and "13Mirch", Gurdeep Singh Johal Jee, we can talk about this in another thread. Let's focus on what 13Mirch has asked and the topic. Where did people being "divided on being Sikh of Guru Granth Sahib" Jee come from? There is no issue. There is no controversy. Let's get back to what 13Mirch has asked.
  5. I'm not sure if these are the ones. I have seen these, but there were other ones too because I think he was there for more than just one day. The ones that I am talking about are with him sitting on a tall stage in a big area full of Sangat and in the video, the camera rotates to show the Indian Private Security as well. Panthic.org used to have them but they don't work on the site for whatever reason. I could be totally wrong and maybe those are the videos. Let's see what others say.
  6. Lots of respect bro! I watched your Dasam Granth Seminar video online as well. Keep up the great work! At this point in time, there are forces working to take Guru Gobind Singh Jee's contributions out of Sikh history. Your work is not based on gossip and people just trying to create conflicts. I have seen your work. And it is the way it should be. An academic approach. A scholarly approach. Not some hearsay and some titles like "Professor" in your name (unlike some other people). Once again, lots of respect!
  7. I have been looking for this as well for quite some time. This video is especially important. It fully shows his true colours of creating trouble and divisions. In other videos, Darshan Singh keeps on emotionally telling the Sangat approximately the following: "Dasam Granth says that Krishan took drugs and got intoxicated and many other things that I cannot describe here". "What are our youth going to learn from this? By reading something like this, our youth is going to end up ruined, right?" Blah Blah Blah....the same emotional brainwashing. It's so funny to me, because he keeps on acting as if Krishan is our youth's role model. Dasam Granth states the truth. Krishan did take drugs/intoxicants and Krishan also put his hands on many women (the Gopis if I'm not mistaken). And then on the other side, he's going to Pune with his Private Hindu Security and specifically telling them : "My Hindu brothers and sisters, in the so called Granth, these are the types of things written about your Devtey". LOL. On one hand he's telling Sikh parents in Sangat that Krishan is made to look bad in Dasam Granth and how would our kids end up if they read it. And on the other hand he's going to Pune and telling hindus that "look at what this is saying about your pure Devtey". If this guy had any true knowledge, he would know that Guru Gobind Singh Jee wrote the truth. Krishan was far from perfect. Same with the other Devtey. It's fact. Whether they did exist or they were just mythological doesn't matter. The same thing written in Dasam Granth, is also written in Mahabharats and other books/granths as well. Anyone who has studied hindu mytology/history would know that Krishan did all those things. Darshan is just trying to create controvery and trouble out of a non-issue. He always creates everything so emotional. When he does Keertan, his actions and facial expressions are as if he is acting in a movie or something. He tries so hard. And people who have no knowledge of something but always like to stick their nose into every issue, they are the people who believe him.
  8. Gurdeep Singh Johal, you're making it very obvious that you're anti-Dasam Granth and anti-Sarbloh Granth due to the missionary and kala afghana groups. Stop playing games and just say it. If you knew anything about Gurmat, then you would know that Dasam Granth and Sarbloh Granth follow Gurmat 100%. Savinderpal Singh posted the picture and still you have the arrogance of saying that you didn't read it. If you're not here to read/listen/learn, then what are you here for? Trouble making and creating divisions right? Sound familiar anyone?
  9. YOU READ MY MIND! I was going to post this topic yesterday but just kept on delaying. This Keertan is so amazing! Dasam Granth for life, Sarbloh Granth for life! Bhai Gurmeet Singh Jee Shaant is sooooo underrated. I was so happy to see that he got a spot as Hazoori Raagi at Darbar Sahib a couple of months ago. To me, I wish he got Padamshri and all other awards and stuff. Dr Gurnam Singh Jee as well. After doing Keertan at Darbar Sahib in the evening, he then went to Ludhiana with his Jathaa and did Keertan from 9:45pm to 11:00pm at Gurdwara Dukh Nivaaran Sahib Ludhiana. I am telling you, it was MIND BLOWING. It's one of the best Keertan recordings you will ever hear in your life! It was so amazing. He talked in between and explained things to the Sangat. He went hardcore into Raags and classical. He did a huge and very long Jaikaaraa as well. At the end he was supposed to finish his turn but the next raagi group didn't arrive from Darbar Sahib yet, so he had a few minutes to do 2 more Shabads. He said approximately "we are in Guru Granth Sahib's Darbaar and that once our turn is finished, we don't just get up and leave if the next group hasn't arrived. It is our duty to keep Keertan Akhand, and so we will continue to do Keertan as per Guru Ghar Maryada". And boy did he ever. The last Shabad he did was particularly from Raag Taranas I believe (I could be wrong, but he himself said something like Taranas). He said that he hasn't sung that Shabad in quite some time. I have a very very small clip (last few seconds) of that Shabad, as I was scrambling to find some way to record the Keertan one way or another and was able to get the last few seconds. I will try posting it. I am BEGGING ANYONE, who has the full audio or video recording of it, to please post it! I e-mailed Akal Multimedia and the Gurdwara contact form online as well, but no reply just yet. There must be someone that has recorded it, whether from home, or in person in the Gurdwara as part of the Sangat. It was too amazing to have not recorded. I don't have a youtube account, so, if someone does have a youtube account, could someone post in the comments section of the following videos to ask the users if they have the recording? "Kirtan Pardhana" has this from the night before: So there may be a chance that he has it. Also "Kaur090690" also has many of his videos and may have it as well as she has recorded Dukh Nivaran Sahib Ludhiana Keertan before as well: Please if anyone can contact those and any other youtube users/posters through their youtube accounts, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, to all those Dasam Granth and Sarbloh Granth haters, Bhai Gurmeet Singh Shaant himself said that we all know that Guru Gobind SIngh Jee is a warrior and won 17 wars, but we don't look into the rest of our history and heritage. He said that Guru Gobind Singh Jee was a master of music as well and knew nearly 300 raags. Sure, Guru Granth Sahib Jee has many Raags. But Dasam Granth has many as well, and Sarbloh Granth the most. It is not only Bhai Gurmeet Singh Jee who has said this. Dr Gurnaam Singh Jee was/is (today is his last day) in Toronto, Canada. And two weeks ago he himself said that exact same thing, that Guru Gobind Singh Jee knew two-hundred-something raags and that Sikhs have a whole treasure chest that they have not even begun to explore. Throughout Dr Gurnaam Singh Jee's time in Toronto, he would get many requests from Sangat to sing Shabads from Dasam Granth and Sarbloh Granth and he did sing them and give explanations in between. He's amazing too. Also Professor Surinder Singh Jee (Raj Academy) respects and believes in Guru Gobind Singh Jee's Bani as well. Dr. Gurnaam Singh Jee and Bhai Gurmeet Singh Jee have a huge knowledge of Dasam Granth and Sarbloh Granth. They are doing a huge service of countering the missionaries (whether intentionally/unintentionally through Keertan. Most raagis and parchaaraks respect Dasam Granth and Sarbloh Granth. Those that want to brainwash Sikhs and get them divided on non-issues are in the minority. Dhan Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Jee. The King of Kings. A son. A grandson. A father. A husband. A warrior. A forgiver. A humble servant. A Guru. A chelaa. A Saint. A Soldier. A master of weaponry. An inventor of musical instruments. A master of musical melodies. A master poet. A master of languages. etc etc etc..... People are continually trying to show Guru Gobind Singh Jee as only a warrior and nothing else. MohanDas Gandhi tried that and failed. Many before and after him tried and failed as well. Today, the missionaries are trying as well to take away his Bani to remove the evidence of his masterful grip on knowledge, ethics, morals, poetry, language, arts, crafts, skills, music, etc. Guru Gobind Singh Jee's Bani is a true treasure. The missionaries will fail too. I hope. Dhan Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Jee.
