  3. I don't think they will want to see receipts. They may pull you over and ask questions if the electrical items are staying in India or will you be bringing items back with you.... If you give them around £5 to £10 they may let you through no questions asked lol
  4. I wanted to bring this story to the sangat's attention: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-30098655 - Birmingham surgeon Nafees Hamid jailed for patient sex attacks The Judge told Hamid witnesses had spoken highly of his clinical skills, but he had been "brought low by a simple failing - lust". I heard this recent story and it reminded me of this story... Anyone can fall.
  5. I heard about this when that video was leaked a few months ago on youtube, I didn’t think too much of it until I read this blog which gone into detail of timescales of events. The analysis I found the most convincing in favour of the bibi was the one of Giani Ji’s full video response he made. Having watched the video and read this blog, it does seem to be in favour of the bibi. I thought what does she gain from doing this? So I thought there must be some truth in this. We don’t know this Bibi, but if she were my mother, sister or daughter, we’d all want to make sure the truth gets out so no one else becomes a victim. Which brings me to all these people who have been brought to light like, Jimmy Saville, Rolf Harris etc. These women knew that if they voiced their abuse, nobody would have believed them. Regardless of if this accusation is true or not, as a Guru ka Sikh, is it right to dismiss/reject a victims voice? What surprises me though during this whole allegation is how Giani Thakur Singh responded when the bibi mentions the kiss. At no point does he act surprised, shocked or angry. Though this is just my opinion on what I have read, heard and watched. On a final note in reply to Singh123456777, you said in your opinion to never put someone on such a high pedestal, doesn’t the same apply to Giani Thakur Singh?

  15. For majority of the farms in the UK, it is just a business, producing mass amounts of milk by putting these cows through this kind of ordeal. OK, the link above is very extreme and i don't think farmers kick and stamp on them. BUT, the stress that they are put under is definitely unethical. We know of a farmer in the UK who cares for their cows in all the ways possible. We have been drinking the milk from this source and we have noticed a big difference. Also the milk is not pasteurized or homogenized, so you can see the cream in the milk... OH and the paneer made from this milk is amazing.
  16. What do you know about how the milk we drink is produced? All I knew was that cows are milked by a machine and they clean it up making it bug free... I thought nothing more of it. Cows raised for the dairy industry are intensively confined, leaving them unable to fulfil their most basic desires, such as nursing their calves. They are treated like milk-producing machines and are genetically manipulated and pumped full of antibiotics and hormones that cause them to produce more milk. While cows suffer on factory farms, humans who drink their milk increase their chances of developing heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and many other ailments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZcUrWAK-8Q
