Veer jee - it was never my intent to pull you down. I've repeatedly said I support The Sikh Channel project. However, the transparency of the financial affairs in relation to the seva you do is an absolute necessity. This may save you from accusations in the future, and hopefully we have clarified some issue in front of the Sangat. BTW, reason I did not discuss this directly with you, as I have on previous occasions, is so the whole Sangat can get such clarification. Best of luck Waheguroo Vaheguru Veer Ji Dont get disapointed this is just the beginning, people are going to want to tear you apart...... be strong, Maharaj Kirpa Karan, this is such a big seva, and like anything with money involved people are concerned about what is going on due to so many corrupt people ruining the reputation of sikhs. Some are out just to exploit the situation, others like this veer just want clarification which is reasonable.... Money/Profit has to be made, to fund other seva and projects and to develop other facilites of the channel and for future security etc . We dont want this channel to come on then a year or two down the line have it taken off..... its the first of its kind and we want it to be the best.... and yes the Sangats channel.......... never forget the sangats input

you do not understand brother, why do u need to go to a sant, when you can go to maharaj himself, the one who made the sant in the first place............. ? Guru is Ang Sang and he is much closer and present than we think........... realise that Guru is with you, follow Gurus Hukam. quit searching, the search is over, you have the greatest gift, go sit in the sangat and sing kirtan, and serve the sangat and the world........

VJKK VJKF Is there any posters advertising this so I can put it up on the gurdwara? or do we just make our own? , wud be nice if we have like an official poster with all the details on it....... PS would listening to the paath at work count? , i normally have kirtan on ma mp3 on low vol while i work, sometimes i gota talk to ppl etc but im always aware of the kirtan n listenin ......... so if i have the paath on wud that count towards this??

i turned my laptop on its side, then using a lamp (to see) i used two needles n it too me ages but i managed to get it forward, then i used a small screwdriver......... make sure u dont use things which push it further u need to get somat on both sides of it......... if its too far, then take it to pc world or a laptop repair place, they will open it n take it out for u

There 5 are main qualities which we need to become a Khalsa or work towards... Each of the 5 piyare represent the 5 qualities which happen to be in their names..... God knows the reasons, we dont need to ponder over why there was only 5.......

lolllllllll looks like we need to buy a building for the club, where everyone like mindind can live in.... to the thread starter; sometimes running away from things isnt the answer, helping your family, through ardas and reading bani may be a better option, this takes time and alot of will power. But only you know what is right, you situation seems quite uncomfortable, especially having meat cooked in your home among other things, you are old enough to make the right choice. 'Talking' about it to your parents wont get you anywhere, two years down the line you will still be 'talking ', you need to decide whether you can stay or not and then let you parents know of your intentions and whether you can support yourself etc, if that is your option......whatever you do, dont feel guilty, Guru is always with you, always look for guidance from Guru Ji.

Inner rehit is harder to keep and it isnt up to other people to judge about inner rehits or look at how good someone is inside, we need to look at ourselves only and how we can improve. the Guru looks after us all, however we have alot more control over outer rehit. The discipline we set outside is what leads us to setting the dicipline inside........... both are important and required.....

ok you should always respect your parents.....but if that parent is not living up to his duty, which seems to be the case in alot of 'asian' familes, where the father seems to think he has dominance over everyone. This is partly to the up bringing where theyve been brought up thinking women have no say, and everything they say should be adheared to....this kind of mentality ruins lives..... iv heard of cases where kids have been beaten up well into their 20's and they live under that fear which they cant break out of..... I think in your case you should confront your dad, that you wont have it, you respect him but he is not your dictator, remember Guru Gobind Singh is your father, Mata Sahib Kaur your mother, you should do ardas to them and ask for help.......tell you dad that you want to move out if he doesnt change........... in most cases he will make it into a big arguement and cause more distress, you will feel guilty and change your mind and get stuck in this endless circle.... so action is required........every consider taking your siblings with you. but you need to assess how serious the situation is, some people put up with it for a lifetime......... you are 24 so you can make the decision for your whole family.

When you go your driver will probably know the gurdwara along the route, there are sooo many gurdwaray to see it would take like months!! but obv you wont have that kind of time. Going by van is going to take a long time. Wat you should do it make the way there last about 4 -5 days and stop off at the main gurdwaras over night and visit others during the day, this way will help make the journey comfortable cos its a long drive. but ask the driver, or ask him to find out and certainly implement some stops on the way. lots of Ithasic Gurdwaras on the way to Hazur Sahib..............................I only know this from my brothers journey, hopefully i can make this yatra the october too! Guru Kirpa Karay you will have a great time....

GurFateh jio im sending this message, hoping you can reply back to me tonite. There is a jatha in Slough which is coming up north for one week to do kirtan in Scotland and north of england. Jatha is Bhai Harbaljeet Singh Batala Wale....... We are from newcastle and were trying to find someone who can take the jatha from slough gurdwara to kings cross station tomorow (monday) for the 10-11am train.
