Take 1 hr out of your morning routine and listen to nitnem and concentrate on it while doing nothing else. Read translations too with gurmukhi or english to make sure your mann stays focused on bani. You can make time for everything pal even though during your exam times things might get complicated but after exams are done just put in the effort. For example I slack off my nitnem and simran earlier this year, but I decided to do ishnaan and my nitnem and an hour simran from 12-2 am ish and even though I lack some sleep I push my self through.

SGPC and Akal Takht blocked Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa from getting darshan at Harmandir Sahib in January. SGPC blocked all of sangat when Modi came to visit too. SGPC=Masands. SGPC needs to go. It is sad we don't realize it.

(April 17, 2015)—Moninder Singh, a well-respected Sikh youth activist was arrested earlier today during a protest outside Ross Street Gurdwara in Vancouver. A number of Sikh youth, along with representative of various organizations arrived outside the Gurdwara to protest the arrival of Modi for his role in massacres of Muslims in Gujarat. Modi Government is also responsible for carrying out attacks on various other minorities in India. Jakara Movement, a Sikh Youth organization stated that Moninder Singh was arrested for exercising freedom of speech. Canadian police also threatened to arrest others who were at the Gurdwara. Moninder Singh was asked to leave by the police, however he refused and continued to protest peacefully when he was arrested. Sangat members were denied entry to the Gurdwara by the police. “We are being asked to leave the premises. We are denying, we are rejecting the police telling us to move. They are gearing up to push us out,” said a youth outside the Ross Street Gurdwara.
