Good Idea Khalsa ji, However I would suggest that the Ik oankaar image shouldn't be in line with the feet of the baby. perhaps you could cascade it with the top line having Ik oankaar and then have everything beneath it. good timing aman0001 ji and a fair point. if you need any info pm me. im not from east london, or have had anything to do with the setting up of the academy, i simply spent some time there in the summer due to a work placement near there. So my experiences are first hand and i left there quite amazed and happy, and came back home telling all the local singhs that we should go there to help out. I think the only way you can appreciate what these gursikhs are doing is by seeing it first hand.

VJKK VJKF Over the summer i spent some time at the academy, and from my first hand experience there, i can vouch for it and say it is an amazing achievement and truely an inspiring place. I think as a sangat we all owe our seva or daswand to help the sevadaars continue with the seva. The place is named after our mother, mata sahib kaur ji, how shameful would it be if such a place had to be closed down because of lack of maya? The things the academy has done shouldnt be overlooked. When the beadbi of 11 pavitar saroops of Satguru Granth Sahib ji happened in the bow gurdwara fire, it was these sevadaars and at this asthaan that the seva of these saroops was done. This asthaan has the biggest sach khand sahib in the UK. The Satkaar taught to the kids is more of a higher level then most of us probably could consider. The kids are learning how to be tyar par tyar gursikhs, they are taught how to do mahraaj sahibs seva, ardas, kirtan, santhiya, and so much more. It is a bright light and amazing prospect for the future and brings hope for our panth. Please do not look at this and consider it to be someone elses problem, hear the benti from these gursikhs, and please donate what ever you can. VJKK VJKF

vjkk vjkf Seems every year so many new faces come and get inspiration of the immaculate jeevani of such a Gursikh. You can clearly see how massive the kamai of Baba ji was, as even after 6 years of them leaving for sach khand, more and more youngsters are being inspired by their life and jeevani. The smagaam was amazing, well done to all the sevadaars and may maharaj continue to do such kirpa on you all.

vjkk vjkf. the smethwick camp is still in planning stages. however there is a gurmat camp at west brom gurdwra (Guru Har Rai Sahib ji) which starts on the 8th of august for 5 days.

can you please ensure you have accurate info before spreading the messege as it seems that not many people actually know whats going on apart from the text that has been forwarded. the messege has spread all over the country and it seems that no one has a clue about anything on the issue, even people living in west brom and attending the school. The story going around is rubbish, teachers from the school and people involved in dealing with the issue have said it was a musalmaan put some lucozade in a girls hair, and the boy kikd off wid the suleh and its jus a usual school boy fight. the pakis call some of their boys, etc. the kid aint in intensive care. The text has spread from some person whose written it, and its got to london, glasgow, bham cov, etc. n its all just nonsence.

Vjkk vjkf I have looked through this book bhai sahib has translated and it is brilliant. I think before anyone makes an opinion on any issue with raagmala, both sides of the argument should be looked at in great detail. It is a bigger paap rejecting something because of just looking at a counter argument on an issue. As if we havent even explored the argument for the topic theres a strong chance we could be wrong. And to reject gurbani is the biggest sin a sikh can commit. Benti to anyone who has issues with raagmala, please do sufficient research and take this oppertunity of reading the new released book, and then form an opinion after looking at both sides of the argument. I see so many youngsters nowadays getting sucked into forming an opinion because of the influence of others views, or by reading a 1 sided argument on the issue. And do maha beadbi by rejecting something they have no clue about. Alot of singhs read 1 book as gurvah has stated called mundavani, and base their whole view on what ever has been told to them by giani Gurgit Singh. im afraid if thats the limit of your research, then the opinion isnt yours, it is giani gurgit singhs. the book bhai sahib has translated and given the view points of numerous mahapurakhs, brahm gianis of the khalsa panth. im not saying read the book and form an opinion, im saying consider all arguements before making an opinion. In reply to the points about the contradiction bhai sahib has made, i dont see a contradiction. I dont personally know bhai sahib, but from what i understand from looking at their preface is; They have written the book on their opinion, that is that raagmala is bani. That is the basis on why he has translated the texts of other gursikhs on raagmala. thats how iv understood the preface, i could be wrong though. naik is a fake. iv heard many of his talks and most of his arguments can be refuted be any knowledgable person. He has technique and experience on how to debate and twist thing to suit him self. Iv sin the video of him on youtube about major religions and concept of god or sumt like that, and the guy hasnt even got a clue about the basics of sikhi let alone interacial debating. For example, while trying to prove he's some interfaith knowledgble scholor he commented on sikhi. while speaking he goes the sikh holy book is the sri guru granth sahib. and then picks up sum random book of his desk with big word on the cover saying sri guru granth sahib, and he goes, this is the sri guru granth sahib. now any person who knows any litle bit of sikhi will tell you u Sri guru granth sahib jis saroops are something you can pik up off a desk in 1 hand. basically when watchin the video you can see he clearly doesnt knw what Guru Granth sahib ji is, and as his audience had no one who may have knew, he got away wid such stupid acts. he also comes out wid rubish that Guru Nanak ji was influenced by a so called muslim known as Sant kabir. It doesnt take a very knowledgable sikh to refute this. the guy has experience in the debating area, however if wanting to debate with sikhi, or sikhs, i dont think he could pull it off.

Your points are valid and correct, however they didnt add guru to all the Gurus names, The singh was ucharing correctly, but evrynow and then, he mite had sub-consciencly said it, he would sometimes say Guru tegh bahadur simarieh, ghar nau nidh avai dhai, but mainly said tegh bahadur simarieh.. More care should be taken to make sure we dont add our own bits or modifications to gurbani, and it should be uchared in the way Mahraaj sahib wrote it.. Im not condeming what was said, but a high percentage of granthis when doing ardas in sangat dont also uchar this shabad correctly.
