Kashmir - who does it belong to?

Interesting that she died so close after making positive noises towards respecting sikhi and the need for Indians to learn from Guru Nanak Dev ji

Kashmir - who does it belong to?

For those short-sighted people here 1. Kashmir jammu and ladakh are all parts of the greater sikh lands so India haveno rights to claim them as an integral part of Hindia. 2. This bill was revoked without a vote which is illegal under the constitution 3. Centre will have direct control over the state , remember this is how they destroyed local poltical powerand voices 4. This also affects sikhs of those regions as we have already seen by the killing , rapes and illegal evictions by kashmiri pandits with army\police help 5. This is just a measure to set up the bloodbath and denial of citizenship of ordinary lawabiding muslims and sikhs 6.this sets an evil precedent which means we will see fascists throwing down all sorts of evil laws at minorities to steal their livlihoods, homes and lands . They are already preparing to oust all sikhs from power positions in guruwara committee in India and abroad .

    Wearing a Sari

Frankly speaking, what makes you stand out from the crowd if you dress like Draupadi ? We all know how quick it was for her to be unable to fight because her covering was being ripped from her body. A sikh woman should be able to be identifiable as Guru Gobind Singh ji's DAUGHTER in a crowd of millions . Dressing like the masses will not achieve that, we are not meant to wear the clothing of the brahmins , no dhoti or sareeas theseare dictated by their scriptures. Asfor preet's dodgy assertion that women wore their sari like someone going down rhe market on the battlefield she is wrong ,(such a bogus picture she wouldn't be able ride a horse wearing a sarilike that it wouldhave to be hoistedup) many wore men's attire or their sari like dhoti style try looking at depiction of durga/kali . Running around in skirts on the battlefield is cumbersome. Our history shows our women dressed differently from muslim and hindu women because of our need to be able to defend our own honour. and to Not do display of our bodies to entice kaam in others. We are not expected to be the playthings of men butvalued as people in our own right , with responsibility forourown lives and actiins , Do you honestly think Guru ki maatavan and bhaina were dressed like hindus in solaan shingar? Our job is to dress well but not to keep our focus on our bodies but our souls. most sarees rely on tight revealing blouses, with plunging necklines , A sikh woman would not be comfortable with skmilar cuts on their kameez for a reason becauseit is not the type of modesty level required to go in front of Guru Sahiban . BTW I'm a woman too .

Where to go travel in England

Gravediggers only see spades and soil, and closed coffins ....if you want to see dead bodies train as a mortician , coroner, or join an undertakers firm.

    Why do we cremate?

Sikhs have nosuperstitions over disposal of the bodies, we are told our body will revert to its elemental state and be reused. Asa di war points out the falsity of thinking burial protects the body for kayamat or thinking dying by fire means you go to narak (muslim beliefsystem). The hindus do cremation as a purification rite , we don't , we just do what it practical , do not waste land for the living by burying the dead also avoiding opening the chance of fixating on certain people (possible khabar worshipping). In disease deaths it is wiser to dispose by cremation but thereis nothing against sikhs being buried at sea or jaal parwan It is easier to accept hukam if there is no constant place reminding you that person's body is there .

    Parenting and weight

Seems like the typical trolling punjab 'govt' report/propaganda like the ones about female foetocide they've been naming punjab for ages as the worst but it is blatantly not true in uttar pradesh no female was born for three months in a particular region . Gujarat have their fair share of fatties and Haryana too not mention other states . Not to say we are angels but anywhere where people have affluence and western influence it is going to be like that. BBC had a documentary on a while back explaining the obesity epidemic in India and it hardly mentioned Punjabi, besides the people above look like pakistanis/hindus not apney.

muslim take over ? you been listening to trump?
  9. I fail to see how the natural syllables would be against because the naad remains the same ... maybe it is better to thank our lucky stars Guru ji has blessed us with the rememberance and just get on with it .
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O84bHZ4mZk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiPN9p1r7e0&t=5s enjoy the full videos
  11. he does the square wah he gu ru , and it is not timid whispering either . Why do sikhs thinks they have to be quiet in simran , when all spiritual bazurg have emphasised starting with loud spoken naam to start with and gurbani has told us the purifying nature on the jeev, kaan, acting on us via naad . When I was a kid we would go to naam programs in people's homes and it was spoken in such a way to reverb through the humans present , very very strong and inspiring . People shouldn't be scared
  12. maybe by your warped logic this Sant should be pulled up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pG4y9RJwemw
  13. if you've ever watched videos of purataan singhs expaining vidhi of simran they also split mantar into syllables, stop looking to SGPC for ANY guidance on sikhi or spirituality they are purely the tail wagged by Badal/RSS . Currently they are trying their utmost to gag parchariks and kirtaniyas from talking and rousing the sangat about our demand for GUrdwra Gyna Godri's rebuilding and return of the 25 acres stolen by Haridwars pandits . Naam simran is kabool whether whispered or roared , stop misleading sangat to leave sangat in which naam is uppermost in people's minds. Next you'll be doing nindiya... hang on too late ...stop making up nonsense about guns .
  14. Because of the way you talk about it , the disrespectful tone you take about the missus theconstant asking for ideas how to manipulate living people around you
  15. There is no excuse for doing all that nonsense and you know it, deep down. In a few short months, someone will be looking at you as their protector, example , moral instructor, it's time to grow up and be serious . You need to lead by example by showing everyone that bazurg and women are meant to be respected but if they do not respect each other you will not tolerate any nonsense in your household. Missus needs to grow up too part of the whole experience and the end labour will change her , don't be too surprised if she becomes fiercely protective and more responsible for this child. If it can happen to others it can happen in your home too. Just stick with doing your paat and keep caring for all your folks , you can do it , just focus on one day at a time and not borrow worries for the future . It's easy to overthink things because the medical doctors like 'warning' about the things that can go wrong , if you make sure of nutrition and rest it goes a long way .
  16. Yeah I can and she must be thinking what the hell did I do to be stuck in the middle of this hellish situation. She is theone person that tried to smooth things down but you are total headcase who will not let things lie and calm down. You keep poking and prodding to get your wife upset , then she takes it out on your Mum because you've p'd off so as to not catch any backlash and she needs to blow off steam. You really are a nasty piece , who wants there to be strife to get rid of your dharam paatni and you really have not illustrated once that you are willing to take a tongue lashing to resolve the issues you've created.
  17. Ok, she is going back to her peke , not with your blessing that's clear for all to see. Old tradition was girl would go to her peke when she is pregnant with first child because they know her better and she would feel less stressed. The other thing is she's pregnant not dying of a disease, women have done hard labour in fields etc up until the last minute, many women maintain exercising throughout pregnancy unless high blood pressure is an issue. I travelled by plane up until week 27.It is a natural , well planned for state of being. She is shouty, yes, she is spoilt , yes, she manipulates but so do you; I feel sorry for your Mum and Dad not for eitherof you, because they are caught up in both of your dramas . ... But there is no way she can be compared to the charitars , she has not cheated on you, or seduced people so please step off no one is buying that BS you are peddling.
  18. Well he made sure to drive a wedge between her and her folks, remember he was complaining that she was still communicating with her mum and sister. This is exactly how an abusive partner sets up the situation so that his wife ends up isolated. The other obvious power move olayed was selecting a girl from a very poor background , so there is no going back to bheke.

Which countries can Sikhi look to expand in?

Majority are not allowed to express their spirituality that's 80% of folks , because of manuwaadi .

Which countries can Sikhi look to expand in?

The older generation may have had direct experience of sikhs during Burma war and second world war
  21. Punjab was a province under the reign of Darius and yes it was the jewel that everyone wanted including the British. Sohne ka chidia is Punjab's nickname not as is put about India's because for ages Punjab has supplied the deficit that manwadi installed as a consequence of restricting who can own or till land .
  22. You have to realise that sikhs think differently than most on such things, ALL others apart from your life partner is a sibling, son/daughter or elder to you irrespective of faith, colour or location. A sikh NEVER does, says or implies anything which would create a loss of honour, prestige of another i.e. Protective of their izzat in society since they are family Yes you can have friendships but you have to make sure it is clearly understood by the other that the way you think about them is sister/brother etc . Remember a sikh's character is supposed to be above reproach e.g. General Hari Singh Nalwa and his Afghani 'mother'. I was trained in Computer science in the early nineties and there was only four females including myself on the degree course in a group of over one hundred: Sometimes the situation is such that you have to mix to progress your own development . We are not muslims who fiercely compartmentalise women into boxes but we are not also totally careless about our own respect in society like western culture has become, we do not equate avaaragardi as freedom. Ours is the middle path, live in society but keep our values intact.
  23. Was given name as first and surname without the Ram so Surinder Gindey.
  24. In another report it was made out he was sikh but from this it is clear it was a punjabi hindu.
  25. He reminds me of the gay guy (also sikh family background) who murdered his innocent wife of six months after she discovered his gay porn and the reality of her being duped . Of course she MADE HIM murder her ... These guys have serious issues with personal responsibility. Of course now his case has been used to push the blame of such cowards and liars to the parents and families under the guise of 'forced marriage'. And no he wasn't forced because guys are usually the active initiators of engagements and selectiin of partners.
