As an offical reply from the sewadar of Sikhsangat.com This is brilliant idea and it will be our pleasure to meet the sangata all over around the world ! The location UK will be very good since its kinda center of the world and it will bring ease to European and South East Asian Countries + Aussie sangata. If the UK location is bit too far for canadian and US sangata then Somehere in the East coast of US or Canada will be perfect too. But we need one main sewadar who is determined and make this YOUTH plan work. We need a person who will inquire about the staying location and resources needed for this Conference or "Camp". It doesn't have to be in 2005, it can be in 2006 so that members can have ease in saving money and getting the permission from parents and so on. There is no place for caste or any special group in Sikhi. Our ancestors are Shaheed Gursikhs. We are proud of it. Our father is Guru Gobind Singh Ji and mother Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. Our home is Anandpur Sahib. Sikhi makes everyone better. Sikhi does not need any jatts or anyone else. All humans including jatts need Sikhi. Sikhi survives because of Shaheedis and Naam Simran not because of jatts. soorma, you are not even a Sikh. Ask your other "jatt" friends to leave Sikhi and see what happens. They want this thread to be closed because of their concern of peace within the Sikh gurdwara. Since this is the local issue, we want sikh sangat of UK to solve it peacefuly. Legal action and calling police is not the way ! There is no court and judge who can solve the Panthic issue except the court power given to Akal Takht Sahib by our Guru Sahib. Here are a few facts: 1. neither Jeevan nor myself have been consulted about the display of the Granth. If you read what Graham Shaw seems to have said - he onlt refers to Jeevan as someone who can interpret what is in the Granth. Please believe me both Jeevan and I would have advised strongly against this - we have in the past. 2. Neither Jeevan nor I have any connections with Nidar Singh Nihang - and the assertion that Jeevan is connected to him is wrong and detracts from what is otherwise an important issue. I dont think that the two have ever met and if they have they certainlyhavent met at any Sikh events in the UK!
