Everybody has their own choice. Age, different demographics plays the role on forum visitors. You may think other topics aren’t important while other thinks that they are and vice versa.

Taksal is a great jathabandi and will stay the most respected jathabandi along with other jathays. Every institution has problem of their own, let them solve it on their own. With saying this, I’m closing this thread.

Singhs from UK worked so hard to stop marriages in palaces and places where everything is allowed. Act like this destroys their hard work and now next generation will get misled. harinder and wife of Sikhri were the main at this event (she read during pharray). I personally along with other Singh’s stopped this guy bringing in sri Guru Granth Sahib ji in suitcase at the local youth camp in California. Gullible and non-informed folks like jagmeet follow these ppl for their religious advice.

This is true. Back when sikhsangat forum started, we went though a brainstorming session. Luckily we settled on sikhsangat.com. Soon after first version of Sikhitothemax was released and the name sounded good then. Still doesnt sound bad but was better 15 years ago.

Fateh So because of the new theme, the login form is on every page. That is why the warning is displayed to warn the user that there maybe password fields on the page and the site is not SSL. We will be implementing various upgrades and SSL over Christmas period.

It seems like a generic warning by browser to inform you that site isn't using SSL. We will look at implementing SSL and also review the site security. I don't think this particular message is anything to worry about.

Thanks for your suggestions, big changes won't happen overnight but we will start to introduce things straightaway. My suggestion is to have have an interactive section where members can perform sehaj path and invite other members to join in. Their progress could be shown on the site. So more like a social path where you can do path, bookmark angs and paragraphs that the individual wants to share with others. Another would be a gurbani media centre that members can contribute to. Again they can have playlists etc possibly do live radio and video shows?

It was not an automatic bot attack but actual person who was managed to get into our server and gave one of his id (never posted publicly) it's own admin access. We decided to check on our forum security due to recent spam postings and we found the hacks that happened last month. We pulled our forum down and did the clean sweep, updated the software and screened the database. We encourage our members to change their password as soon as they can just to be on safe side. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh We are in moving process - to a better and powerful server. We are working on the server for the past 2 months. Balait_da_sher worked hours to setup the server and then solving the issue of mail server. Some of the functions of this forum are not working for the past few weeks; changing username, some functions of ban etc. We will be moving to new server within this month and we will have many new features. Bhai sahib, it is better than nothing. Somtime i do not agree with something ppl do but i stay quiet for sake of unity and not to discourage other who are doing something. Last one we did petition dis manage to ruffles indian sarkar's ears. Why would it prompt obama to suddenly raise the issue of reapecting religious diversity.

Threads were closed after strings of posts by sachkoj making mockery and attacking akj jathabandi. We edited simran/shake thread and made it available to public again. Sachkhoj - given first and final warning.
