  1. Its sad however true... the sikh girls love a badboy and sikh educated 9-5 guys are second best. Its upsetting seeing the 'slappers' roaming about with these paki bengali or black gangsters then they settle with a good sikh boy and end up divorcing him after having kids to him and taking halve of his wealth and then reverting back to the slapper lifestyle... Waheguru ji bless good sikhs to keep away from this madness.
  2. wjkk wjkf ji. Im from the Bradford west yorkshire area. I cannot seem to find a panjabi kurta pajma tailor in the bradford area. The asian shops all sell premade skinny dweeb kurta pajmas. Ive just asked people from the local gurdwara and even the gyani ji said people tend to get them made from india...and its tough to get a tailor. Im preferably wanting a male tailor or a lady thats not going to question me about who what where im from and how many kids i have etc. If anyone can send me some contacts in the bradford or surrounding areas of any decent tailors as stated above that would be very helpful.
  3. Mind you hes still a didha bacha cos you can see his bum fluff on his face still growing...
  4. Well folks a <banned word filter activated> is a <banned word filter activated>...a lady is a lady... young people dating then getting hurt have their own way of dealing with the breakups... Same for men really a player is a player giving false promises of love etc... When your young 19 to 25 ish its hurts more being cheated on and i guess people stoop to this level. If she wants to date a "bad boy dem" then I guess expect whats coming. Dudes acting like a badass and shes on the receiving end of hia wrath now...they are both idiots in my opinion dumb slapper and dumb guy plastic gangstaah lol
  5. Wicked warrior. Yes I agree. Every gurdwara I feel has a different energy. when you have 'viraag' cry your soul is being touched!! Excellent. Id love to visit this gurudwara when im down coventry or when they have a smagam programme. gurfateh ji.
  6. Yeh found my answer. Im more frustrated at peoples fashion and noise. I guess im disciplined and expect desency from people which isnt possible. Yes going in the morning divan will be something i will be doing definately. Thanks to everyone for your opinions and views.
  7. gurfateh lucksingh99. I dont make eye contact??? I dont tend to look around i guess ive only done it when trying to to find a spot to sit down. Youve missed my point... However i see what you mean. Thanks for your input.
  8. Eduardo My brother guru nanak said to recognise mankind as one. So wether you are christian, sikh or muslim a true sikh will never discriminate You. when it comes to marital affairs then sikh should marry a sikh this is what our faith explains. In the western world its very "normal" for interfaith marriages however to ensure the sikh faith stays strong we dont like our women marrying out of the sikh faith unless the non sikh becomes a part of our faith. Our 10th master created sikh men to be lions(singh) and women to be princesses (kaur) we are to practise a saint soldier life and live and practice sikhi. I know western or european christians who have embraced sikhism and love it. Check out the 3ho sikhs. become a singh and feel the power of sikhi everything starts by saying "waheguru" god will show you the rest. If its works or not, if you end up marrying a sikh and convert or dont convert will be down to your karma my brother. Hope this helps.
  9. Starstriker singhs have started protesting outside gurdwaras against this. The girls are chasing the lust BigTime and parents turn a blind eye at least shes married and gone...thats what they want... As for guys. Many sikh boys get married in mixed marriages but dont seem strong to convert the women...again lust over faith and religion.

  12. If you want it to be commpletely straight then use a relaxer on it. you can get it from boots or superdrug. black people use it to straighten their afro hair... Seriously it looks fine to me. My beard didnt have much length and was wirey and thick. The relaxer helped straighten it. I think your beard is fine veer ji. Gurfateh ji. 14. SINGHGS - Your life will get better. "What the mind can conceive, it can acheive". Use visualisation as much as you can watch the film "shallow hal" comedy. Ive seen anthony robbins in london it changed my life. His techniques helped me battle through my divorce and other setbacks. Its out past karma that is giving us luck or badluck in this life. However youll be fine. take it easy. Youve done the right thing talking about your feelings. Just remember people that we see "may look" the part! But theyll be upset about something in their life. Some of my mates have got everything, Money, great looking woman, kids, house, big cars, kids... and they chat to me telling me how money doesnt bring happiness. Ive chosen to naam jap and live a gursikh life the best I can if i get it wrong at times its a learning curve. We are human we sikhs we learn as we live. So take it easy on yourself. Listen to sukhmani sahib its helped me and has disolved tje negative thinking. Also do kirtan sohila at night it keeps away negativity. waheguru jis got you he will bless you. See the glass half full rather than half empty, your lucky your not living in india or evwn palestine where people are getting bombed everyday or india where the high population requires you to beg if your unemployed. Gurfateh my brother.
  15. I try and visit the gurdwara on a Sunday. Ive found that I just cannot relax and listen to the katha, keertan or path. when walking in im smelling strong perfum that a non practising sikh girl/woman is wearing then when i look shes dressed like a slapper. Short arms, bright dress! Hair out and a see through chunni And tighest kameez. Why!!? Then i take my shoes off and after being nuged by others as the gurdwara is full i eventually reach the divan only to see everyone stairing at me like im wearing a pair of knickers on my head! Then eventually when i sit down im cramped between people or someones talking constantly next to me. I just get so frustrated and leave. I see the singhs all in the banaa. Then look across to see the women just dressed like its a fashion show and seeking attention. Its so wrong. And its getting worse. I dont feel like going to the gurdwara anymore. I often go when theres no people as its peaceful and you aint listening to there crap. Wanted to know are other gursikhs or sikhs finding the same when attending the gurdwara??
  16. I AGREE WITH SINGH598 when your attacked like that its best to mame one of them. Id bite and chew or poke eye balls out. Teach the bandit a lesson for life!
  17. The singh being attacked in the video has got his dukes up and is protecting his face and jaw. This shows he does some form of martial art or even boxing. In a sitiation when your fighting gang "one on one" doesnt work and "fight or flight" kicks in. He did well to defend himself I fought against 4 guys in the uk on a street and trust me Im a primed ghetto fighter. You cant win a fight against a gang unless you have some kind of weapon that you know how to use. In my case I got attacked from behind with a guy hitting me with a plank of wood whilst I knocked out the guy infront of me. The singh couldnt even use anything to his advantage as its all snow around him. He did well in my opinion he fell fighting rather than curling up like a worm and a wimp.
  18. @PREET. The gurdwara has allot of money coming and going through it. The bent sevadaars often take advantage of the benefits of even taking loans from the golak when they are in power. many of the old school gurdwara pardaans who we all saw wearing smart blazers and shirt and tie with a big desi pagh and mercedes parked up outside where bent. Then the you see the second generation come through who are their children and grand children who are also showing they are religious butvalso draining the system. I seen this behaviour many times! Often theres a power struggle between large extended families to take over the committees. The benefits... 1.They get into the network of the councillors. 2.Funds and Grants information and people who offer this. 3.Because its a charity so there are many people who offer services for free. The committee take advantage of this on a personal level. 4. Being part of the gurdwara estabilishment gives prestige and gives them a higher sense of living higher than the common individual. "Power trip" The "Gurmukh" sevadaar will often be humble and keep his head down and be ready and willing to help where he or she can...as humbleness is the whole meaning of seva. The worldly power trip sevadaars look down on the gurmukhs and think they are pushovers as all these people would normally say is "han ji". If you meet certain amritdhari sevadaar in the gurdwara you can tell whos practising, seva, simran and nimrataa and doing seva with a true heart. Im pretty fed up of the power trip sevadaars myself and their families Taking advantage of the so called seva they are doing in the gurdwaras.
  19. new age sikhs are marrying out of the sikh religion. HOWEVER if the muslim girl becomes a sikh and takes our tenth master as her master unlike following the teaching of prophet mohammed then its all good. The shame is whem you see all sardaaars with big turbans and long beards standing around a tabaya watching a kala marrying their daughter and he hasnt converted to sikhi. The sikh women on a massive scale are marrying out of sikhi. To the point... The gurdwara committees who run the gurdwaras are not practising the rehat as set by the main sikh leaders in india. These guys are often older businessmen who can read gurmukhi and do path however havent lived strictly by the tennets set by guru gobing singh ji. So they bend the rules is its a mates son or if bookings are down and cash flow is low. The gurdwara is also a business to these people. So theyl marry their own son to muslim, hindu or whatever without a blink of an eyelid IF it brings in the business and a bonus if the person marrying their daughter or son has a good profession! Singh Sabha Gurdwara in bradford follow strict tennets of sikhism and would not allow this conduct as they put faith, following sikhi appropriately and running the gurdwara accordingly. If you go down the road 1 minute walk to Gobind Marg gurdwara they marry hindus and sikhs mixed marriages...etc
  20. VJKK VJKF brother. know this everyone beats themselves up. Everyone has some kind of issue. You sound like your depressed and stressed. Negative things happen in life which are out of our control, ie education didnt get a 1st with honours, career didt go the way you expected. In this life we wont get everything perfect. Ive suffered from depression and anxiety I felt worthless without anything to really feel proud about. Your not the only one. In my opinion brother as we get older we loose friends as people move on in life get married have kids etc. If your single then it can get lonely. As for doing kureth things dont beat yourself up you probably did things as your life changed with your age. In your 30's youll find that your maturness will develop. work is hard to find especially in IT and computers Ive did a BSC in Business IT and 2.2 with honours. My jobs have been crap and so has been my career and I was mad for ages about it as I really wanted to be a systems Analyst the industry changed and you needed programming skills and I cant do programming to save my life! Ive studied for 24 years since being born and worked 3 years in IT jump8ng from job to job, ive even been a security guard, bouncer, taxi driver, cleaner as getting into professional position has been so tough. I even did a IT teaching course GTP and hated it as i worked as a teacher and did my study at the same time I left after 4 months and felt a failure. I then did a training programme in the council and did really well only to find that my manager was getting me todo her work whilst she did higher management work to get a prmotion and then told me my work was wrong after 6 months and a big argument as she started bullying me I left. She was a little hitler. I was on a training programme for 12 months and gor paid £12k pa its was rubbish money as i was supporting a family on this wage. After 10 years of marriage and 2 kids I then found out my wife was sleeping with paki and had several affairs behind my back. So i walked... I divorced her she made me bankrupt and took my kids. So here i am pennyless and with no prospects. Do i cry and sit in a corner and feel im worthless... I did beat myself up and said i wasnt good enough. But no!!! Im fine people are people we think they are perfect and great but they are the ones with the issues. Of youve developed yourself to respect yourself and others then your fine. People can be takers in for the whats in it for them. Im now so happy. IV met someone else and she kisses the ground i walk on, ime doing volutary work and have found my sikhi again and am practising it. If you cant wake up in the morning at 4am dont worry about it, it will come now just not your time. Listen to hypnotherapy stuff and apps to help you be more confident and to help you sleep. Also binural alpha beats on youtube are good to listen to through headphones youll find these on youtube. These will tune your pinural gland...your third eye. take one day at time and listen to naam jaap try to tdo naam simran meditation in the gurdwara by yourself. If your watching xxx colour movies then you can get addicted to this and it will make you think its better than being with a human. You need to cut back on this. its tough if your not married or have a sexual partner. However live your life aswel guru ji will send people in your life to guide you trust me I went tjrough the same feelings as you. Keep strong. I will keep you in my ardaas. Vjkk vjkf ji.
