  1. So it's agreed that Sikhs in Punjab are heading for a world of trouble by swinging open the doors to Muslims; trouble which our people could easily avoid if they weren't clowns, but because they're misguided fools they will have to undergo the obvious trauma and horrors that Islam has in store for them in order for them to learn their lessons? I think we've been so traumatised by the Indian state's actions from the 80s onward, we've leapt into the arms of an enemy who some of us have forgotten were the original enemy! But even the word "trauma" implies we're victims of circumstances or powerless denizens without any agency of our own, which is complete rubbish considering the size of the Sikh-Punjabi ego and other areas on which we try to exert our presence. I guess the average Sikh in Punjab hasn't come across the saying, "The enemy of my enemy is not my friend."
  2. Not so much a "sign of the times" but a sign of how weird things are in some places in the world. Btw, a macao is a type of monkey. ?
  3. With respect, obscure rehatnamas aren't going to push back against the Islamic tide. Rehatnamas can be ignored, debunked, etc. They're like the hadiths in that respect; they can be repurposed to suit any narrative, or when they're a little more cut and dry they're denounced altogether if they don't suit the narrative. Only in our case, Islamophilic Sikhs will lead the way in denying even valid rehatnamas as Brahmin concoctions or non-divinely inspired writings. Guru Granth Sahib is the benchmark by which Sikh ethics are measured, and on that front as I've mentioned Islam is given a free pass. To prevent what will inevitably transpire if Indian Sikhs continue this suicidal pro-Islamic agenda, efforts should've kicked into gear at least ten years ago. It should've been a widely agreed policy by the Akal Takhat for ALL paracharaks to contextualise Islamic sentiments expressed in Gurbani. Day in, day out, at ALL the major takhats there should've been presenting Katha focusing on this issue, i.e. keep Muslims and their ways at arm's length in our own pinds. Instead, even as recently as Saturday I watched a video of Katha from one of the major Gurdwaras where "Mohammed Sahib" was being talked of in glowing terms by a prominent giani. Yes, our people will need to learn the hard way, but if they weren't so obstinately ignorant and arrogant, they wouldn't have to undergo the inevitable horrors this particular learning experience will throw their way. Dead quom, dead people.
  4. In 40 years when village Gurdwaras in Punjab are being attacked and Sikh girls are being coerced into Islam, would you suggest the victims start shouting, "Gurbani says pilgrimages and fasting is useless!"?
  5. These rough and ready "banter" types need to recognise boundaries as soon as you come across these types of guys. If you're one of those pappus that giggles nervously when goreh like this guy start dropping nonsense into conversations to see if there's going to be any resistance or pushback, you're basically done for. All it takes is a "shut your f****g mouth, you wan**er!" with a laugh to establish limits. Say something off-colour about something you know he holds dear. That's usually enough to let him know you aren't a total pondhu.
  6. If you think I'm talking tatti, then fair enough. But go listen to ANY Katha performed by the panth's great sants, mahapurash, gianis, kathavachaks of the past 60 years, and you'll not hear anything negative about Mohammed and Islam as a valid belief system. You'll hear criticism of Islamic PRACTICES or rituals performed by those who say they're Muslims, but you'll NEVER encounter a fundamental disavowal of the validity of Islam as a path to God. Then how can we utilise Sikhi to dismantle Islam when it's always remained in it's good graces? Didn't Sant Jarnail Singh say that a Muslim should be a good Muslim, a Hindu a good Hindu, etc? There was no, "Muslims should leave Islam" or "Islam is false." Even in relatively recent Sikh history our leadership has sought to make bridges with Islam. What part of Sikhi can we use to stand against Islam that doesn't make it seem like we're just making up 5hit to combat them? Our religious leadership hasn't ever given us ANY ammunition against them. Why?
  7. If Gurbani says so, then who are you to claim otherwise? Do you know more? Also, Sikh affiliation and fondness for Islam is concrete. Was it Guru Gobind Singh or Guru Tegh Bahadur who said they weren't combatting Islam for being Islam; they said they'd fight against anyone who was using any religion as a front to oppress and murder? Yes, so if the Mughals were Christians, Buddhists, Jains, etc, nothing would've changed. Islam was never treated as the enemy. It was only certain Muslims who claimed to represent it that were rallied against. I hate to do this, but you folks really need to wake up. Now, a friend is telling you these FACTS that our own belief system propagates but which we choose to ignore. When our enemies will hit us with these bricks we won't be ready for it.
  8. I guess you think "There is no Hindu and no Musalmaan" implies "There is only Sikh." You've allowed pendus to interpret Gurbani for you without analysing and reciting it yourself, AND you've also neglected to understand the historical and social circumstances of the time in which it was received by the bhagats. Reading up on Indian history preceding and during the period of the emergence of Gurbani crystallises the mindset and intention of the various authors. It actually makes way more sense if you're aware of the background and life events of each of the bhagats who contributed. Lots of picking and choosing going on. It's also ironic that the one Sikh scripture that would inculcate Sikhs from succumbing to bukwaas from outsiders is the one Sikh scripture that's decried as a fake!
  9. You're saying that. That's your masala. Why do you think the identification of the various rituals that have gradually overshadowed actual worship are condemned by Sikhi? The implication is the religions in their original forms are both valid. The implication is that the followers have corrupted these religions by fasting, circumcisions, etc. You fail to understand that if Sikhi criticised the actual religions from the exact moment of their creation (i.e. their reason for being), it would imply that God made a mistake by creating these two religions. Sikhi takes the line that God created good and just religions that were distorted at a later date by Man. That's one of the justifications for the creation of Sikhi; to correct the mistakes of the earlier paths. Why would God create false and distorted religions from the get-go? Don't go off on nonsense tangents. Think through what I'm presenting here.
  10. How many liberal sarpanches do you know?
  11. Lol, yes, it condemns the HINDU and it condemns the "TURK" for not following their religion properly. Show me where it says Hinduism and Islam are false religions according to Sikh scriptures. Like I said, the follower who misses the point of his religion is chastised by the writers of Sikh texts. The religions themselves aren't doctrinally dismantled, analysed, disproven, or castigated. Come on!
  12. Rubbish. It doesn't say anything like that at all. Gurbani decries the ritual of Islam and all religions that veer from the path of worshipping one God. It doesn't condemn the faith; it condemns the follower.
  13. It seems the past 10 years of feeding the Sikh mind with Sufi / Islamophilic culture has done its job. Its softened up the Sikh mind to open themselves up to people they should keep at arm's length. I don't believe any of this romanticisation of Islamic culture in Punjab over the past few years is an accident.
  14. You can't put this one down to liberals. How many liberals do you know in Punjabi pinds? It's a lot more complex than that.
  15. Misguided and distorted Dharma without necessary counterbalances leads to what we're seeing now. There's no Jews to blame in India (in terms of this particular situation). Hindutva despise Muslims more than anyone, and want them gone. This is us when we're left to our own devices, lead by ignorant and unintelligent religious and cultural leaders. Shameful and embarrassing.
  16. With respect, that's not the question we should be asking. If the Dharmics / Sikhs are incapable of preserving their own existence, then such a demographic deserves to be wiped out and replaced by Abrahamics. There's no two ways about it. This isn't us being forced to convert or flee at the end of a sword or a gun. We are actively and happily handing over our future existence to these groups with no prompting from any other group. This is all us. And there is nothing in Sikh religious scriptures that contradicts any of what is occurring.
  17. Don't worry, Canada will welcome them with open arms.
  18. Imagine actively and enthusiastically assisting in your own eventual displacement and replacement, AND thinking what you're doing is a godly, commendable act. ??
