  2. Vaaheguroo Jee Kaa Khaalsaa! Vaaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! With Waheguru`s Grace, a special commeration programme and Rainsbai Keertan & Amrit Sanchaar has been organised by Akhand Kirtani Jatha UK, to commemorate Vaisakhi and dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Shaheedi of the 13 Singhs in Amritsar 1978. These special commeration programme will be held on Sunday 20th April. The Raisnbhai & Amrit Sanchaar will be held on Saturday 26th April. Special Commemoration Programme The special commemoration programme will be held on Sunday 20th April at Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Grant Street, Bradford. It will include keertan and a presentation about the events of 1978 in english and punjabi by Jagjit Singh - author of Kurbani. This will include new research recently unearthed for the 3rd edition of Kurbani, which will be out later this year. Reansbhai Keertan The Rainsbhai Keertan will be on Saturday 26th April from 7pm at Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara, Leeds Road, Bradford. Amrit Sanchar The Amrit Sanchaar will be on Saturday 26th April starting at 8pm sharp at Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara, Leeds Road, Bradford. Akhand Kirtani Jatha UK’s 13th Annual INTERNATIONAL AKHAND KIRTAN SMAGAM 2008 celebrating the festival of Hola Mohalla, beginning the commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the Shaheedi Saka of Amritsar in 1978, and 300 years of the Gurgaddi of Dhan Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from Thursday 20th March to Sunday 23rd March 2008 Akhand Kirtani Jatha UK invites you to join Sangat from all over the world for the 13th Annual International Akhand Keertan Event. Many Keertani Jathas from around the world will be taking part in Keertan Seva. Gursikh Keertanis have been invited from India, France, Australia, USA, Canada and throughout the Panth. Plus this is an opportunity to support positive Sikh projects like the Khalsa Primary School both morally and financially, and encourage more such projects like this throughout the Khalsa Panth. Bhai Amolak Singh Australia will be giving a presentation and an eye witness account about the events of Shaheedi Saka of Amritsar 1978. Bhai Manvir Singh will also be lecturing on the concept of Sant-Sipahi (Saint Soldier). Keertan will be done from the Gursikhs attending from Canada, France, Australia and India. The programme will conclude with a Gatkha Extravaganza. Gatkha battles will commence from Akharas from UK, Ireland and Canada. Gursikhs will also be displaying their skills on horse-back.
