Yeah i agree it really pisses me off a few years back the EDL had a march in Slough protesting against the plan for a Islamic learning centre. It was crazy, Muslims bought along their posters and were protesting against the EDL, 100s of people in the highstreet, huge clash, and guess what a group of dumb sikhs decided to show up and support the Muslims holding posters up saying things like "sikhs against edl" it was only around 7 or 8 of them but they looked like idiots. Now I'm no supporter of ugly chavs like the EDL but why did that handful of sikhs feel like they had to stand up for Muslims and show support!! Why did they get such a itchy bond? The protest had absolutely nothing to do with the sikh community of slough !! It was actually very embarasing

Your still very young, your 21! still got a long way to go bro. concentrate on your weight, don't let yourself go. the way we look on the outside has a big impact on our mind, so try to stay healthy and fit. if you don't want to go gym buy a skipping rope and start skipping in your garden, you will feel good about yourself and results will start showing fast. don't let yourself go. try to see the positive in everything, if we only concentrate on the negative then our life becomes negative but if we try to see the positive in everything then everything starts appearing positive. smiling is important too! and keep faith in guru ji, share your feelings, your needs and wants with guru ji share your sadness and happiness with guru ji, involve guru ji in your day to day life. remember you are precious to guru ji, he chose you to be born into his panth! from all the billions of people in the world guru ji chose you to be part of his family, thats why you are a sikh today. skin conditions are common, i myself have eczema near my knee and that area of my leg has gone darker. try to accept your flaws rather than battling with them, once you accept your flaws then what is there for you to worry about? nothing

i think its because wealth is very important in our culture, the whole reason punjabis came to these countries in the first place is to earn money and become wealthy. look how punjabis send money back to Punjab to build huge kotis that looks like towers, then to make it look even taller they stick a statue of a aeroplane or a bull on top. They all want to compete with their shareeka even if they are residing abroad. Our community is strongly driven by money. The Singh doing english katha at the local gurdwara said that if our leaders ever needed to sell the kaum for money they would do it! The more money your have the more sexier, hotter, fit your considered in the community. So coming from a community which is so driven by wealth it would me normal to compete with one another and put each other down. Its drilled into our heads from a young age, look how parents drill it into their kids heads that you should have better exam results than so and so's kids. Look at Punjabi wedding receptions, they all want to take it one notch higher than how their restidaars did it. Punjabi weddings have grown from a humble marriage ceremony at home to these huge carnivals in 5* hotels, all in the name of competition. We are taught to compete with other Punjabis from very young age. Obviously not everyone is like this, i have come across many humble young Sikhs. Its just the way our culture is and how most of us are bought up

It is very low but Sikhs are more likely to convert to Christianity than Islam or any other religion in the west

Some People say that Indian Muslims are nice people! No their not! End of the day they still follow that religion. They just seem nicer because they are a minority in most of India. They have driven out the Kashmiri pandits from Kashmir by terrorising them, Kashmiri Hindus are ethnic Kashmiris and have every right to live in Kashmir

Well like I said it's not that punjab is safe but at least their situation will be slightly better they will be among their own people all these other states clearly don't want them, why live in a region or state where the locals want to drive them out.

All Sikhs living outside of Punjab, in India, should move to Punjab. Its clearly not safe for them, getting evicted in Mumbai, kidnapped in Kashmir, attacked in the north east, attacked in gujarat, rajasthan etc not that punjab is safe but what else can these people do?

Talking of indian governments I was asked to give my fingerprints at amritsar airport but no one else was asked! Is this normal? The indian government basically have my fingerprints!
