What I heard from someone who witnessed the whole event was that It was all Indian students..
The haryanvis got smashed up initially.
Then cops came, then all the Punjabi students ran away.
Jassi was then ambushed when he was by himself, someone hit him from behind his head with a weapon of some kind....he was knocked out bleeding pretty badly from wound to back of head.
