  1. It’s a vertical pendulum effect due to the metal in the arms being heavier than the seat and there being low friction between the moving components. Basically you pull the arms down, now the seat is up and gravity pulls it down, then that causes the arms to go up, etc. You can see it slowing down.
  2. Also, how does it work? Like can anyone go to Damdami Taksaal and say you want to learn and they put you in a class depending on your level?
  3. ^ This is what we need more of. People must have these magazines and articles in their house somewhere. We need to digitize them, or they'll be lost forever.
  4. That is amazing! Thank you so much for uploading it. I'm sure it will be very educational to many in the sangat. I'm hoping others on this forum upload old magazines they have at home. If anyone has the 1st and 2nd editions as well, that would be great.
  5. Exactly one of ones I was looking for. Unfortunately it’s not available in Gurdwaras in Canada as it seems to be a UK based project. It was also sold only in print. Would you mind scanning it and uploading it here for everyone to read?
  6. Thank you, ji. I’ll check out Shahadat and DM Fatehnama. If I get any updates, I’ll post it here. It would be great if you could digitize all the old magazines and upload them here because otherwise they’ll be lost from our history. I’ll DM you.
  7. Can't find the magazine here. It just says it is sold out. It wasn't posted as downloadable PDF
  8. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! I was browsing online trying to learn more about 1984. I realized many websites were taken down (such as neverforget84.com) and the downloadable content that was hosted on servers lost. I'm trying to find some of these magazines but can't find them anywhere. If anyone has physical copies (I think they were only sold as physical copies) or downloaded ones, can you post them? I'll post some of the ones I'm looking for below. Thank you, sangat ji. Singh Soorme Magazine Edition 1 Singh Soorme Magazine Edition 2 Singh Soorme Magazine Edition 3 AM I KHALISTANI? Magazine (don't know how many editions there are) SINGHA DE KAARNAME (don't know how many editions there are) If you have any very old magazines from around 1984, or ones that are censored in India, please try to post them too.
  9. So, when I get to the point of reciting Dasam Granth, I should try to also read Ugardanti and Bansavalinama as that was once a part of the Granth. Is there a source you have with the complete Granth available online or in-print?
  10. Hello ji, can you tell me some more bani from Dasam Granth that have been “discarded” or taken out? Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere or if it is disrespectful - I’m new and trying to learn more about Sikhi. Are there different versions is Dasam Granth with some bani removed and retained? If so, what is the most untouched?
