Why did Udham Singh have to call himself Ram Muhammad Singh? It just goes to show the subservient nature of our people even back then. The reason Bhagat Singh cut his hair and denounced his Sikh roots was to be accepted by the Hindu masses and he admitted this himself.

I dont think it's just due to 1984 but the love of money that has done this to them. Maybe the violence of 1947 and the subsequent stories woke up the Punjabi Sikhs.

Exactly, it's not like the Sikhs of UP and Delhi are living in Kabul or Peshawar. Probably hoping to drum up business for their luggage and rug businesses ?

Looks like apne are heading the same way! Letting suls do namaz in a gurdwara is a total disgrace. Our gurdwara was bombed in Afghanistan just 2 months ago. Instead of a revenge attack we let them pray inside our gurdwaras in India. The most emasculated act possible. Where is the next Banda Singh Bahadur, Baba Deep Singh and Hari Singh Nalwa?

Fastest growing due to immigration. As the number of Sikhs grow in Australia, Canada, New Zealand the number decreases in Punjab. We just run away and expect Mr Gora to look after us in these countries. We will never fully be accepted there ever. -

No it's just Islam and Christianity and that is why they are the biggest religions in the world. If Sikhs never tried to spread their religion how did we go from being Hindus into Sikhs?

Less relevant? It's extremely relevant. Sikhs in Punjab have little to no contact with muslims as there are very few there. Here in the UK they try to attack our girls with grooming gangs, convert vulnerable people in our community. This needs to be discussed.

No chance of that happening at all. Then other Indian states would try the same thing. India is not a proper country, it is more similar to the EU. Kashmir leaving could cause a collapse.

It's completely true, Hinduism and some of its weird rituals has caused a lot of poverty and general uncleanliness. People dumping bodies in rivers, feeding animals in temples, people marrying animals and trees. But in the grand scheme of things it's like saying a broken leg is better than a broken back. Amritsar is a filthy city apart from the area near the Darbar Sahib.

India is such a lawless hellhole. Sikhism civilised the people of Punjab to quite an extent. It is much better than nearby states such as Haryana, Rajasthan and UP.

Antonio? What a total l**d. What kind of <banned word filter activated> gives their son an Italian name? More and more apne are giving their kids non Sikh names. It's a disgrace. Your face is brown, you will never be considered a gora no matter how hard you try. I don't recall seeing any Italians called Balwinder Maldini. What a scummy family, brain damaging a poor innocent baby and blinding another man. Sick people.

Even before Hitler they were high achievers with many contributors to science. As far as I'm concerned the European jews are white, it makes me laugh that they claim that they are originally from Israel. They look nothing like the Egyptians and Jordanese who they share a border with. As for the racial nepotism, our lot could learn something from them, not to the same extreme but something nonetheless.

That is true, Oppenheimer was very into the Gita and believed in ancient Hindus having nuclear weapons and flying machines. I'm not sure if it's true, who knows. Ashkenazi are as you said, the brains of the Jews. The middle eastern/north African brown jews (mizrahi) are more like muslims, they have more kids compared to Ashkenazi, much more religious and not as academically minded. All Israeli prime ministers have been Ashkenazi jews even though half (or even more) the country is mizrahi.

Very true, since Israel was formed, they've taken no nonsense from anyone. Anyway we are light years behind them. They have genius scientists, artists and economists.

I know, they are pathetic in this way. The thing that makes me laugh is that they always play kirtan in their shops but at the same time are selling alcohol.

This is worrying, the Belgians have banned halal meat in a lot of their country thankfully.

The thing that really makes my blood boil is those Afghan Sikhs on Southall Broadway selling pictures of Mecca and headscarves for muslims. These guys were oppressed and thrown out by muslims in Afghanistan and still sell this stuff. It's like a Jew selling Nazi uniforms and flags.

Well pretty much all of the meat they were selling was halal. I overheard a sul in front of me asking the staff once if a particular dish was halal and they said it was. I had to write a series of emails and forced them to provide one non halal dish as well. The funny thing is that I usually only eat from the salad bar at work but I didn't want the suls lifestyle accommodated for considering they are probably less than 10% of the work force. Look at that, a company that has jusr 10% suls and they are bending over backwards for them. I know for a fact that Brilliant and Madhu's in southall sell halal food, they just don't label it so as not to scare off the Indian customers. Sneaky idiots. Suls will never sell non halal food in shops let alone restaurants. I think Sira Cash and Carry in Southall even have a halal meat counter. It's a good thing you left Godolphin and grew up around more apne. My wife also went to Guru Nanak school in Hayes, she doesn't fully understand the menace of suls as she grew up with just apne.

I had the same issue at my work place. They were force feeding halal meat to people without them even knowing. I made a complaint and made them label all halal food. It took quite a bit of effort. There are even a lot of Indian restaurants in Southall that do this. The Sikhs who do Shisha are a joke. Even in the 90s the suls in Slough were extremists. I went to James Eliman school from the late 80s to the mid 90s which was sul infested. Some of them would try to force us to say bismillah, at bloody age 10! Obviously they were learning this from their parents. Then you had the whole Shere Punjab vs Chalvey Boys thing. I remember police turning up every Friday outside Herschel Grammar where I studied. Thankfully the Shere Punjab smashed up the whole of Chalvey High Street and that seemed to end all of the troubles. Apne back then took no nonsense.

I did a lot of research into Buddhism and did like a lot of what I read, I even applied some of it to my own life to positive effect. However I didn't like the monk and nun aspect of it. They believe that only the monks and nuns can receive enlightenment in this life. If everyone became a monk or nun the whole world would simply stop working.
