I was at the Gurdwara yesterday and it seems like we are feeding ourselves too much!
It looked like a who's who of diabetes and heart attacks waiting to happen.
Punjab is the fattest state in India. It seems we just like putting everything in our mouths whether it is food, alcohol or drugs.

Moga people and generally all southern districts all speak Punjabi, even the local Hindus. Only ones who won't might be Bihari labourers in cities.
People in southern Punjab districts wear more Kurta Pyjamas than other districts, especially if you wear a white one, you'll blend right in.
As a Keshdhari Sikh it would be better to go to Amritsar given the current political climate. The OP clearly takes his safely seriously and Amritsar would be the safer option, not to mention Delhi has lots of Haryanvi and UP goondas.

You're better off going to Amritsar, travelling from Delhi to Punjab is bloody long! You're looking at around 7 hours to Moga versus 2 from Amritsar. I recommend staying in Amritsar for a few nights when you land to see all the Gurdwaras and historical sites before you go to Moga. I stayed at a hotel called Hotel CJ International, you can actually see the Harmandir Sahib from the rooftop of the hotel.
A lot of people, namely Hindus, speak Hindi in major Punjabi cities like Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana so try to deal with Sikhs as much as possible. Very few people wear Kurta Pyjamas so stick to western clothes. My wife and I used auto rickshaws in Amritsar with no problems regarding safety.
You could find a hotel in Moga but if you're only there for one or two days then you might as well stay in Ludhiana.

I doubt she believes in Christianity, she is a plastic Christian. Someone like Bobby Jindall seems more authentic.

Ideally we shouldn't be moving abroad in the first place but we love following the Christian goray around the world.

Wouldn't being a good Muslim endorse keeping prisoners of war as slaves and in the case of women sex slaves?
Likewise being a good Hindu would encourage following the caste system.
These things are explicitly mentioned in the Quran and Gita.

Isn't Ludhiana 67% Hindu? They are more than double the Sikh population. Likewise in Jalandhar.

I realize the Nihang Maryada of Jhatka, and I am not talking about that.
Even if you know (or you think you know) that a given restaurant's meat isn't Halal, there is still no excuse for eating meat from there because eating a Big Mac burger is not Kshatri Maryada.
There are a lot of Sikh owned restaurants here in the London area which are halal. Remember money comes first to apne.
Likewise, take a walk down Southall Broadway and you will see countless Sikh owned shops selling Islamic pictures of Mecca and head scarfs. Never in a million years will you see muslims selling Sikh related items.

I would say it is purely immigration. Sikhs don't have high birth rates. As the number of Sikhs in Canada, Australia, New Zealand grows the number of Sikhs in Punjab and India decreases, so don't complain about that.

He's more competent than Truss and Johnson but his skin colour and religion will mean that he'll never be accepted.
He can perform miracles in the next two years and the goreh will still vote for Starmer. Let them have the likes of Truss, Starmer and Johnson and see where it gets them.
But to be honest I think he will be forced to call a general election before then.

Exactly. What you do outside the gurdwara is more important in terms of diet and exercise. Even if you live a sedentary lifestyle then you simply don't need to eat as much.
Having said that the Gurdwaras can also help matters, they should stop serving kheer or any sweet dish at Langar considering the fact that Prashad is already heavy and sweet. I've rarely seen a giani that didn't have a massive belly.
