  1. Thanks brother and proud of you for your Parchaar to our African American brothers and sisters in your neck of the woods.
  2. 1. But what about if your kids came up with the cure to cancer or HIV? 2. What about if your future children could make you happier in life, strengthen the Sikh Panth and work towards Sarbat da Bhala in a more meaningful way than you can in isolation? 3. Isn't that what most moneh like Deep Sidhu would also say to you too when *you* define them (as Hindutva strategists want you to do) as non-Sikhs?
  3. Last time I checked it was only Islam that inflicted Genocides in which 90% of the Sikh population was killed (Vadda Ghallughara) and more recently in which 25% of the Sikh population there was killed in the 1947 Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs. So imagine 10 million people in California being killed tomorrow or 85million Americans being killed by Islamic State. That's the threat Islam poses to Sikhs. Even the Congress Genocide of Sikhs begins to look like a picnic in comparison to the above.
  4. Are a few unverified Twitter handles all we need to write off Parchaar to a 50million strong community? So if the Punjab kissan and mazdoor organisations didn't buy Rihanna's records and she didn't really benefit much from sales in Punjab she shouldn't have bothered raise an issue relating to justice? Simple question: do Sikhs in Canada have any kind of moral obligations to stand with indigenous native folks for the lands upon which Sikhs now live assuming they (the natives) don't stand with us on every single issue (mainly because they have enough issues of their own to deal with like the appropriation of all their land and wealth and the suicides of their teenagers)? Nobody has ever said that Sikhs should not be tyaar bar tyaar at all times and that we should not know how to defend ourselves! 1. The vast overwhelmingly majority of African Americans would condemn the Richmond Hill attacks. A lot of kaaleh don't have it easy in the States. 99.9% of people in America are non-Sikhs and most African Americans have no clue who Sikhs are as there has been no parchaar done to them. Most Americans assume that Sikhs are from the same religion as Osama bin Laden. If our community was to do that starting now (and as Gurjant Singh is actively doing) then millions would turn away from the Slavemaster religions and become sehajdhari and dreadlocked Sikhs over the next decades. With African Americans as allies and fellow Sikhs the Sikh Panth would grow in leaps in bounds not just in America but also in Africa where the population will be 4 billion by the end of the century. 2. How do you know they are not? Maybe they are busy doing Parchaar which is more than can be said of the SGPC or a lot of the people writing off a 50 million strong community from Parchaar on account of incidents primarily perpetrated by gangbangers and crackheads (ignoring the fact that these types of criminals are responsible for literally thousands of black on black homicide statistics which the deep-state neo-cons and the NRA help support and perpetuate).
  5. I'm embarassed that first you told us fictional tales of some perfect millionaire white guy sitting in his folks basement in Europe in front of his computer. Then you moved on to promoting disunity among Sikhs on the basis of Sikhs ancestry when all other normal Sikhs would promote Unity. Now you scrape the barrel denigrating kaaleh just because you think Gurjant Singh is African American (when in fact he is not - but unlike you tries to combat and confront real racism in America wherever he sees it). Your generalisations against kaaleh (whilst pretending to be Sikh) are why we failing in Parchaar terms.
  6. I am aware of who Thomas Sowell is and many in the African American community would consider him their equivalent of General Brar. I am aware that there is an underclass of people in America - who much like we see in Punjab and BC - are on drugs, think crime, promiscuity and alcohol and low academic achievement are cool and that brandishing a gun for Facebook likes or killing others in their community gives them street cred. However, the fact is that the CIA and RAW have a heavy hand on infiltrating these damaging sub-cultures into both communities in order to destroy them from within. It goes without saying that it is incumbent upon Sikhs and African Americans to weed out these miscreants as they are inflicting a mini-Genocide on their own communities from within (on behalf of their puppet masters).
  7. 1. Good as that was a central point the whole argument as I see it 2. Neither am I saying that Sikhs should not be aware of genuine racially motivated attacks on the part of a small minority of African Americans. I condemn racism whoever the perpetrator may be in every single instance. All I am saying is that I don't for one second consider African Americans to be the most racist qaum on Earth and that Parchaar and moral support for African Diaspora communities should increase rather than decrease on account of the points you are making. I am pretty confident that the overwhelming majority of mixed race folks are non-racist because they in 2022 have an even stronger stake in advocating for what Dhan Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj propagated - "kul nash" - the eradication of erstwhile stratified and divided identities like the man-made concept of "race". If a small minority are aggressively racist then that is more likely to be a feeling of inadequacy and proving group loyalty. By the way the mixed race kid in the Altab Ali murder was not the killer as I understand it (he was merely with white "friends" of his at the wrong place and at the wrong time). Of course 50 years ago in the 1970's I do agree that many mixed race folks did indeed face a lot of pressure to act more white than white. Somali Muslims have always despised West Indians as "slaves" (on account of Arab Muslims referring to Somali's as their slaves) so it is understandable that West Indians will not buckle under the Somali's.
  8. 1. Lol Paji how did you conclude all that from a few fake twitter handles? 2. Let's assume for a second that they were genuine handles, how does a couple of handles become reflective of a 50million strong community? Do KPS Gill and General Brar represent who we are as Sikhs if they support and look up to Indira Gandhi? 3. I don't understand what is so difficult about stating "a *minority* of blacks" rather than just applying such a blanket to 50million people?
  9. 1. Sweeping generalisations have been made against "blacks" in general by Jassu. 2. Agreed and as long as we highlight this is a small minority among 50 million African Americans I have no problem with stating that there are crime issues that Sikhs need to be wary of and prepared for in advance. 3. I feel that if a minority of African Americans are racist against Punjabi's then a similar minority of Punjabi's are racist against kaaleh and I feel that Sikh Coalition did not want to fan those flames given that the African American community could benefit so much from Sikhi parchaar. I condemn hate against East Asians in America that increased dramatically under Donald Trump's tenure but you must also be aware that African Americans remain the biggest victims of racial hate attacks in the US and that white Americans comprise the vast majority of attackers. Let's say there is a Genocide against Sikhs in November 1984. And subsequently a couple of drunk Sikhs slap some Hindu shopkeepers. Should our focus be on the Genocide of Sikhs (or discrimination against African Americans) or upon a couple of random incidents in which nobody's life was lost? She was deliberately maligning the black community with distinctly racist overtones in the above post. So since that thread was locked let me respond to her points here: 1. When Slavery existed for hundreds of years the father slaves were always split away from their children. This has left an imprint of inter-generational trauma which causes failure and crime and drug-addiction in African American and slave descendant Diaspora communities to this day. 2. When you brutalise slaves (or when the Apartheid Regime brutalised black Africans in South Africa) it creates psychopathy among their victims and their descendants. 3. When the CIA promoted STD's and drugs within the African American community are you going to deny that the Pakistani and Indian governments do not encourage the same in east Punjab? 4. When you destroy a people's culture, language and any essence of society before the Christian and Islamic Slavemasters got to them and then these people fester under the unimaginable weight of racism for hundreds of years even after the end of Slavery then it is inevitable that there will be societal issues among the victims. 5. Our job as Sikhs should be to part of the solution rather than spreading hatred against them and becoming part of the problem.
  10. Nobody is saying that Sikhs that should not be tyaar bar tyaar. But if one or two crackheads attack a couple of bazurgs it does not equate to "blacks are targetting our community". There simply is no widescale agenda from 50 million African Americans to target Sikhs. That hallucination only exists in your mind. Lozells was a straight up issue of West Indians standing up to Pakistani intimidation and violence. It had nothing to do with Sikhs per se. Two West Indians were killed by the Pakistani's. A West Indian girl was groomed and raped by the Pakistani's. Like the Sikhs representing grooming victims up and down the country the West Indians obviously looked out to protect their own in Lozells. Exactly Ranjeet like you rightly say the vast majority of racially motivated attacks against Sikhs in America since 9/11 are perpetrated by racist white Americans. Two despicable incidents in Richmond Hill should not be used by our community as a baseball bat to generalise against the black community supposedly targetting Sikhs when they simply are not. @MisterrSingh Yes i do take it very personally as when people like Jassu are denigrating kaaleh they are denigrating close friends and elders that I regard like family for many years. Besides that I want Sikhi parchaar to welcome new Sikhs from the African heritage into the Sikh Panth rather than for incorrect generalisations on a forum to drive potential new Sikhs away.
  11. 1. Who benefits from that and encourages that? (Clue = White Supremacy) 2. I doubt you have any black friends as you would not make the sweeping generalisations about their community if you actually did? 3. That's what White Supremacy encourages the general public to believe. So if someone were to dig out Kim Bolan's articles from the Vancouver Sun does that then mean that according to you "Sikhs PRIORITISE criminality"? Or would you limit that categorisation to a certain sub-community that you claim can help Sikhs despite the fact that most people from that community are Muslims and most people from Mirpur in Pakistan are also from that same sub-community.
  12. 1. Yes I would agree that Somali Muslims are known to be racist to non-Muslims. But ironically the community that despises the Somali's the most are Arab Muslims. In turn because the Arab Muslims call the Somali's as "slaves" ... the Somali's hate West Indians and refer to the West Indians as "slaves" beneath Somali's. 2. Most mixed race people are overwhelmingly not racist and understand from their own parentage as to why racism is an artificial man-made construct. 3. In the 1970's any person of mixed race parentage that grew up in the racist environment of the 1950's when "No dogs. No blacks. No Irish" was plastered across the windows of rental properties would have internalised racism. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internalized_racism Thereby to fit in - back then - I can well believe that one lone mixed race guy sought to demonstrate his loyalty to the (racist) white community that despised him in the first place. But in the year 2022 the vast overwhelmingly majority of mixed race folks are not racist and I strongly believe that and will look to get statistical proof of that. 4. The Somali's look down upon West Indians and call them "slaves". West Indians are hot-blooded like Sikhs and know how to look after themselves
  13. 1. Agreed but do you agree that actually the indigenous natives have greater title upon the Land than their Treaty rights would imply? 2. Wanting historically oppressed communities that have suffered from Christian and Islamic Slavery for hundreds of years to benefit from equal academic, health and justice outcomes = Sikhi = Sarbat da Bhala. White and Muslim culture was to oppress those same oppressed communities. That's why Sikhi is unique and why millions of kaaleh would become Sikh if we did very basic levels of parchaar to point out that Sikhi opposes Slavery and racial discrimination. 3. If you are talking about grooming then give it 10 years in Mississauga and Milton and places like that and you will see that grooming occurs wherever Muslims achieve a critical mass within local population demographics.
  14. So is that how the first generations of Sikhs should have thought? That let's ignore anybody who could be tomorrow's Sikh since they are not Sikhs today? What you are basically saying is that Sikhi should never expand beyond the 10% of Punjabi's it is restricted to today and we should never reach out to oppressed communities because at this point in time they are not Sikh.
  15. Can you quote me where I have ever said what you are suggesting? Sikhs should always be tyaar bar tyaar. Bottom line is do you want to inflame the communities in Brampton against one another on the basis of a couple of crackhead attacks in Richmond Hill? Or would you rather see more Sangat like below at the Gurdwara reinforcing the point that Sikhi is not a religion for only 10% of Punjabi's but is the Truth for all humanity to unite under the Nishan Sahib?
  16. 1. I don't know what planet you are living on MisterrSingh or which part of London you are living in as I have never had any problems with Afro-Caribbeans who are in the main superb people particularly the older generation (though i do not deny that a minority of youth influenced by anti-Black Drill music are bad eggs). But I strongly feel that you might be projecting your own limited experiences as if they are reflective of the UK Sikh community. I strongly believe that only a minority of Sikhs may have experienced racism from black or mixed race folks in this decade. 2. Africans represent the majority of the Black community in the UK and therefore from your own words and experience with them you acknowledge that most "black" folks are good decent people just like Sikhs.
  17. 1. Yes but that has nothing to do with the African Diaspora. In fact it was only Idi Amin the Muslim ruler of Uganda that expelled Indians. 2. Yes I have no doubt that a minority of African Americans no doubt feel jealous of Korean and other Asian store owners due to family networks that assist the newcomers to succeed at the expense of people who have been suffering in the country for hundreds of years. That actually perfectly illustrates the systematic racism that African Americans have been victims of. 1. I stand by that but I now see that you didn't just post insulting comments about the black community in order to annoy Gurjant Singh but that you are actually trying to double down on your personal dislike of them. 2. Gurjant is Irish-American so how exactly can he be racist against white people? What Gurjant did was call out White Supremacy and racism by white people. If I oppose the Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs or oppose Islamofascism it does not mean that I am racist against Punjabi's. It is possible to be of a certain ancestry and still decry others who we know that are perpetrating racism or Islamofascism or Hindutva for that matter. 3. So because more white folks might read the site than black you thought you would get in the good books of white racists by parroting their racist tropes against the black community? Bravo! 4. Says who? So Prophet Muhammad was a white Arab Slavemaster and white Arab Slave Trader who sold and traded black African men, women and children for financial profit and you think that black people who are educated about Sikhi opposing Slavery, Racism and Oppression will gravitate towards Islamofascism which explicity supports and condones Slavery in the Quran and Muhammad's own life example (Sharia)?
  18. 1. I have lived and worked in America. You haven't. I have rishtedaar in America. You clearly don't. There is no general racist sentiment from African Americans towards Sikhs. Gangbangers and crackheads are not representative of a decent community that is 50million strong. 2. Absolutely falsehood. You are the one who is openly racist against them! 3. Wow one lady is resentful of the economic success of a store owner. So does that mean that if one Sikh in Punjab is resentful of the fact that Hindu Bania's dominate a lot of retail in urban Punjab that supposedly "Sikhs are very racist against Hindu's" (in your opinion)? Your argument holds no water whatsoever! 4. Your outright racism against kaaleh is more harmful as there is no way you can possibly be a Sikh and make racist posts against kaaleh. 5. No. The 50million strong community as a whole are our brothers and sisters on account of their community's suffering at the hands of White Supremacy to this day. That community are natural born Sikhs if racists like yourself would quit with your demonisation of them.
  19. 1. What exactly is it about my "mindset" that you object to? I am Sikh. I have never experienced any direct racism in my whole life from people of African background. To the contrary, I genuinely feel they are "our people" in their own way and likewise I have always received that love back. This whole nonsense about supposed massive levels of racism by black people against Sikhs is nonsense. I do not deny that there are gangbangers and crackheads who wouldn't care less if they attack Sikhs but statistically those types are actually more likely to kill fellow blacks so there is no massive community-backed racism against Sikhs by either African-Caribbeans in the UK or Canada nor even from African Americans in the States (albeit the incidence of crime in the States is far higher). 2. I don't believe the hype for one second. I have around half a dozen good friends who are from African heritage and have intercated through work and general travels with over a hundred black customers and people generally and not once encountered any racism. Albeit I would not deny that there is a sneering racism from Somali Muslims towards Sikhs which I am aware of. 3. It is important to emphasise that. Some people are using a couple of recent incidents in Richmond Hill as an excuse to claim that there is widespread racism against Sikhs from a community of 50million people when there simply isn't (and certainly not from your average middle-class or hardworking low income types that comprise the 90% majority of the community). 4. The Pakistani Punjabi's despise us as Sikhs despite being from the same so-called race as they proved in the 1947 Pakistan Genocide of Sikhs in which 25% of the Sikh population was killed. Given how badly they despise us, it is well known how racist Pakistani's are against blacks. It's not surprising that the black community will not let itself be intimidated by Pakistani racism against them. There is no such thing as an Asian community. There are Hindu's, Sikhs and Muslims. Muslims and Blacks may well have beef due to racism directed at blacks on account of their being the descendants of slaves. But Sikhi is the opposite of Islam and Sikhi opposes Slavery, Sikhi opposes racism and Sikhi says that slaves have a moral status higher than Kings. 5. For every racial attack on Sikhs in the UK I would suggest that there are a hundred times more incidences of black on black crime. 6. What will you achieve by doing that? Do you seriously think that the minority of crime perpetrated against Sikhs by a few gangbangers and crackheads is the biggest issue the Sikh Panth faces?
  20. 1. Nobody has denied that 2. Yes indeed nobody is saying that those bazurgs cannot tell the Police the racial background of those that attacked them. I support Sikh Coalition's stance and I know exactly why they did it - because they knew some elements would seek to present two random incidents by a couple of crackheads as some kind of evidence of a massive racism by 50 million African Americans (when the vast majority of that community do not hold anything against us at all). The biggest victims of black criminals in the States are African American victims themselves. That does not mean, by extension, that the gangbangers and crackheads are racists against African Americans. It merely means that due to overarching White Supremacy a certain minority of the African American community need to be strongly dealt with when they are crossing lines of decent conduct with respect to their own community and others.
  21. 1. Not at all. If anyone attacks a bazurg that violent criminal ought to be severely punished. 2. None whatsoever. Sikhi teaches us to be tyaar bar tyaar and look out for the weak and oppressed and bazurgs. A. The 50million African American population do not hate us and we need to foster greater links with them. B. Supporting Reparations which equalise academic, health and legal outcomes for African Americans is something which I passionately believe we as Sikhs should automatically support and furthermore as they are the most oppressed community in the USA (along with native Americans). Just like how we should focus a lot of energy on supporting 250million Dalits outside Punjab and morally support indigenous Canadians in Canada or the Aboriginal community in Australia or those that were oppressed by Apartheid in South Africa or Tibetans in China, these are things fundamental to who we are as Diaspora Sikhs that pray daily for Sarbat da Bhala. 3. I don't make excuses for any violent criminals. I believe they need strong punishment for these two such despicable attacks. What I am saying is that there is no massive racist conspiracy or mindset against Sikhs by the 50million strong African American community. I am saying we need to redouble our efforts at outreach and parchaar to the community so that they all know what Sikhi is and who Sikhs are. 4. I can pull the statistics and show to you that indeed a majority of the incarcerated violent criminals from an African American background do indeed have drug addiction issues. The average middle class African Americans (the majority) in the main simply do not hate Sikhs. They are as horrified by these attacks as we are and from the State Senator down many have roundly condemned what happened despite these attacks being no big deal against the backdrop of black on black violence encouraged by the bigger real issue of White Supremacy in America. And the same can be said of low income but hard-working non-addicted African Americans too that work alongside Sikhs. They are very good people. 5. I believe these two thugs were crackheads who attacked but let's say you are right that the two attackers were actual genuine anti-Sikh black racists that genuinely espouse the racial inferiority of the Punjabi Sikhs. It doesn't follow that a majority of African Americans are racist against Sikhs. There is no major widespread phenomenon of anti-Sikh racism by 50million African Americans. Albeit that there may be a small crackhead minority which are involved in such random attacks or indeed crime against business owners. (Similarly if two thirds of the one thousand paid Congress thugs in November 1984 were from a Hindu background {= 1 in a million Hindu's around at the time} it does not negate the fact that there are 1,000 million poor Hindu's who could be highly receptive to Sikhi if we do some parchaar to them and actually deliver an improvement to their lives instead of some of us going on about evil Hindu's that hate us as if they represent 1.1 Billion Hindu's).
  22. So did you celebrate when 25 Sikhs were massacred and killed by your beloved Muslim brothers at Kabul Gurdwara in Afghanistan on 25th March 2020? By who? By you (Mr Shastri)? Or you mean by your Muslim brothers? PS: Arundhati Roy's father and her ancestry is Bahman too by the way.
  23. Caste divisions and racism against oppressed Diaspora communities are symptoms of the decline you are talking about That is why it is so important that Sikhs only have one united Gurdwara per pind in Punjab and strongly condemn racist tropes such as those against African Diaspora communities or even poor Hindu's in India.
