Seems, like you're not reading what i've written. Why do they need a dera/bhavan or whatever they call it? When there are Gurdwaras they can preach in. And why be called 'Darshan Das' instead of what his name is E.G Darshan Singh Khalsa (doubt he was a khalsa) And what's the point of the tilak, Where in the Gurbani does it state that? why do u think people turn to a dera to appreciate and understand their religion through a different medium? if a giani preaches from gurbani daily, and then indulges in meat aand drink in the evening (yes ive seen it with my own eyes!!!), why would one sit down and listen to what HE is preaching when the giani cant comit to his faith himself? 'they should practise what they preach' and this is the problem. this deters followers from the temple and they find an alternative method of folowing and practising their faith. this is not a result of brainwashing from the baba. many find it easy to point the finger at others. why cant we admiit that the 'rumours' we here bout politics, about giani's, etc ARENT JUST RUMOURS. truth hurts and it is very sad that this happens in our own sikh temples. this is why people are fed up with this atmosphere. they find inner peace elsewher whilst still reciting satnam wahiguru and doing their simran devoting themselves to NANAK. doesnt have to be via a giani in a gurudwara. Dear LK, thank u for ur interesting insight into your views. you are one of the view people involved in this particular topic, who seems to have the correct attitude and tone of 'speaking'. as far as i have heard, darshan das has not ever slandered any of the guru's or insulted any part of the beautiful Sikh religion. i have read various threads on various sites like this where people claim to have 'recordings' of darshan das cursing sikhism and direspecting the SGGSJ. i no people who follow this Guru, and i have made up my own mind that what they acquire from this Guru is not wrong in any way, neither does it disrespect any part of sikhism. i have read also that darshan das is 'supposed' to be linked with the indian govt. blah blah blah and other rumours. does anyone have any proof??? i really wana hear these recordings...i want proof as i believe... innocent until proven guilty. i am a very open minded sikh girl, who doesnt get influenced easily. i make my own mind based on EVIDENCE not rumours about .. he said/she said. if Darshan das is slandering any religion then he is worng. as far as i can see and have heard....he has not. if this truely is the case, then those who slander him are the sinners. i no il have a surge of replies saying from others on this thread saying, that he has disrespected sikhi and he brainwashes and takes peoples money. etc etc.....
