  1. Thanks Interesting. Man, I miss that guy. Interesting
  2. Looks different. My brother said it might be just a different style.
  3. Hi guys, after ardas. Why do they say the next part that goes: "agiya bhai akal ki, tabi chalaiyo panth..." and where is this from? Also, is it "tabbay" or "tabi"? I always heard tabi but I recently got into sikhi a few months ago and in a kirtan hymn on YouTube, they say "tabbay" so I am confused on the pronunciation. I will put the link below:
  4. Hey everyone. How legit is this? Guru Gobind Singh Ji's handwriting looks different in both. Just curious. https://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Handwrittens_of_Gurus_period
  5. Who is this by? The only thing in the world that can put me to sleep. Lol.
  6. Thank you. I saw that too. You guys are awesome.
  7. But then why does SGPC sikh rehat maryada say 3 are recited in the morning? Three banis are usually recited daily by all devoted Sikhs in the early morning as a part of their Nitnem (daily mediations). The banis are:-1.Japji sahib,2.Jaap sahib,3.Tav-prasad savaiye only. This is why I'm confused. I always thought it was 5 in the morning. Why would sgpc sikh rehat maryada say 3 only is fine? I just want answers for closure so I can buy the transliteration and translation versions to study if I need to buy them. Thank you both for the reply.
  8. Hey everyone, I'm new to this site and this is my first post. I recently got into Sikhi and for the last 4 months, I have been so into reading history and prayer as well. What I don't understand is different websites. Panj bani paath is what I don't understand. Are the five...3 in morning 1 evening 1 at night. Or is there 5 in the morning and then 1 in evening and 1 at night. 2 or 3 websites contradict each other. Which ones do we have to read. I'm so confused. Please don't laugh or judge me. What are the 5 and when do you do them? Some say 3 in morning and some say 5. Is 5 all in morning or are the 5 altogether in total throughout the day? Is it: Japji sahib, Jaap sahib, tav-prasad savaiye in morning and then rehras and kirtan sohila (are these the 5?) Or is it: Japji sahib, Jaap sahib, tav-prasad savaiye AND chaupai sahib and anand sahib in morning (are these the 5?) And then rehras and kirtan sohila in the evening time. Thank you
