a few months back on the original video i saw a comment by a punjabi dude saying now even whites are accepting how great "brown munde" are lol.

  2. if someone goes to some city in Punjab they will be shocked to see immigration boards on every second shop and that majority of successful businesses are related to immigration. There is an entire chain of businesses to teach people English to get out of Punjab. I wonder if any other place on Earth has this? I mean even the news channel from Punjab on youtube constantly have immigration ads showing up on the side. Most videos from Punjab are for immigration. Any other place in this world where the entire region is only famous for immigration? Quite embarrassing tbh. And i don't know how such a group of people can constantly sing songs about how great they are ?

Today, I saw a video of a reporter at a Sikh rally asking a young western Sikh "how many panj pyaare are there" and he replied "4 or 6". So no knowledge of Panjabi (at least he could've understood panj means 5) and Sikhi.

dumb punjabis have turned sikh celebrations into food parties where people only come to eat food. Go to any nagar kirtan you will see people lining up to eat Pizza, pasta and what not. I am pretty sure this is not what the purpose of langar was?

This reminds me of a Panjabi saying (a bit harsh if you know it, but it means you're left with no side to go to).

It shows how Panjabi and Sikhi won't survive among most 3rd/4th generation Panjabis in the west and it will be decreasing in Panjab too due to rife immigration and people from other states coming in. So you're negatively impacted on both sides.

They distance themselves from their culture and Sikhi as they see whites as superior ,how are these people going to do anything for Sikhi? I don't know why sikhs never made any effort to convert these downtrodden people in India. Punjabis need to become minority among Sikhs as they have proven they are not worthy of it.

Many earlier immigrant groups are an example of this. How many 3rd generation immigrants of non-English European origins still speak their language? They're completely assimilated but since Panjabis can be considered "newer" immigrants, they still live under a false impression that their great-grandkids will speak Panjabi and be Sikh. These people think listening to Panjabi music makes them "Panjabi" even if they don't understand a word.

punjabis reach canada and cut their kes how are they going to pass sikhi?

Punjabis had sikhi for 500 years and did nothing. i think it is time to move on.

Going in the west has actually damaged Sikhi more than benefiting it. Most children of immigrants will fully assimilate in a few generations, they won't speak Panjabi anymore or be Sikh (and many have already let go into the 2nd or 3rd generation). And since everyone is migrating, it will diminish Sikhi in Panjab further.

yup true. I dont think i have seen many 3rd generation sikhs here in Canada at all. What happened to the ones that came in 1900's? One of the person's family is completely white and even changed their last name to some white one. But liberal low iq sikhs will tell you this is okay. Then why does everyone get assimilated into whites only if love is blind? I never see these mixed people marry back into the poc side ever.

I don't think so. Even Panjabis on the other side wouldn't resort this low.

and they are literally killing each other here in Canada. Have you seen how many young punjabis die in BC area? Joining gangs and then killing each other off. The hell are these people going to do for Sikhi or Punjab? And then dumb news reporter were calling these people Sikh.

Honestly, I would move to Panjab now but its their behaviour/actions (like Plane Gurdwara's) there which make me sceptical about it nowadays. You can say past immigrants didn't resort to morally low ways to immigrate such as, "contract" marriages which are rife in Panjab now, abandoning "husbands" leading to suicides or turning Gurdwara's into places of blind ritualism. They also didn't heavily pollute Panjab's landscape with IELTS centers and visa agents on every single corner which rip you off and aren't genuine.

do you think any other group of people participate in such things to such an extent?

'Agents' over there are even sending females into dubious situations where they get abused and exploited. That says a lot.

The moral fibre of our society seems to be fragmenting. But often this leads to a backlash. Hopefully we'll have a Sikh revolution there soon.

The prime business in punjab is this ielts center or immigration agent. I have seen people coming to Canada and then opening business here to help people from Punjab migrate. And then these people will not stop boasting about how great punjabis are.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann announces MSP for moong dal

In a decision aimed at encouraging farmers towards diversification, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Friday announced minimum support price (MSP) for moong dal (lentils) and assured farmers that the government would lift the crop if they go ahead and cultivate it.

The government will also pay difference to farmers selling moong below MSP, promises CM Mann

IELTS centres are a visual sore! They're on every street of every town in Panjab, its disturbing. If you search for jobs in Panjab, more than 50% of them are for IELTS centre teachers, receptionists etc.

yup people are becoming managers of ielt centers and what not and think of this as an achievement. What even.

  12. 2 minutes ago, 5aaban said:

There's been efforts to diversify crops in Panjab. I heard the government offered MSP on other drops like lentils, but not many people took up the offer.

I dont think much is going to happen. People in the west open up centers of learning for various fields whereas back home in Punjab opening ielts centre is considered business lol. I don't keep my hopes high unless some miracle happens.

    This map conveys it all.

The states on the eastern side are more suitable for rice-growing and then there's Panjab, the lone one in the north west.

    image.png.ea7c276dba7e8e7b0fa5fb0cdd3db2b7.png

what is surprising is that despite repeated warnings of Punjab becoming a desert, majority of the people dont care.  I guess this is what a dead conscience is.

  14. 8 minutes ago, 5aaban said:

I've been trying explain that to people. The Green Revolution was anything but "green" long term. Talking to old people has revealed the crop diversity Panjab had prior to the revolution, people had enough in their farms and they never had to buy  fruit & veg from outside. Villages of Panjab used to be self-sustainable.

Now, 2 or 3 crops have taken over all of Panjab, especially paddy. I don't know why they don't realise, Panjab doesn't have the environment nor water to manage long-term paddy growing.

And top it all off most people in punjab dont even eat rice. It's mostly grown to feed the rest of those states most likely. Literally ruined our future due to that so called revolution.

Well explained. I can't emphasise this enough but majority of Panjabis/Sikhs are driven by short-term gains. Many of the problems facing Panjab's environment and people are a result of their own actions and lack of ability to think about the long-term future.

This is what they are doing in Canada.

Well that backfired! Indian minister, 48, drinks dirty water from 'holy' river polluted with sewage to show locals it's safe... before he's rushed to hospital after falling ill

    • Bhagwant Mann, chief minister of Punjab was showing off clean river water
    • Mann bent over and filled a glass of water and drank it in front of supporters
    • A few days after drinking the glass , Mann complained of severe stomach pains

An Indian minister who drank a glass of dirty water from a 'holy' river to prove to locals it's safe has been hospitalised after falling ill.

Bhagwant Mann, Chief Minister of Punjab, was airlifted to New Delhi after downing the polluted water from the Kali Bein.

Video showing Mann scooping up a glass of water and downing the filthy liquid has since gone viral.

A couple of days after drinking the water, Mann started to complain of a stomach ache.

He was taken to the Apollo Indraprastha Hospital in Sarita Vihar and was admitted overnight .

Medics said Mann had developed an infection and was treated by a multi-disciplinary team.

According to New Indian Express, as soon as medics completed a range of tests on the minister before he was released from hospital.

The likes of this useless comedian and their pathetic families have ruined the image of sikhi. Sikhi gave them discipline and how to live their lives with honor but these people ruined everything and now they are nothing in this world. Literally punjabis without sikhi are a useless people.

Organisations break down goals into 3 levels, strategic (very long term, and general), tactical (medium term and more specific actions and structures put in place) and operational (day to day activities that help realise the previous goals/aims). Our lot don't have ANY solid strategic goal let alone trying to put in place and develop norms in our society to realise them.

Seems really thicko when you compare to other more developed people.

But they feel proud of themselves by making songs about how great they are and dancing around like clowns. Just look at the songs they release on youtube  and how they praise themselves to be the best people on the face of the planet. Literally what a joke. YouTube videos from punjab are full of either people telling other punjabis how to get out of punjab or songs about how great they are. Then they will talk about punjabis taking over the world? literally jokes. Just running all over the world doesnt mean you are going to take over the world.
