It looks undercooked. You need to cook the flour in ghee until it is golden brown in color. Quantity of water should be 3-4 times the quantity of flour. So if you have 1 cup flour, take 1 cup ghee, 1 cup sugar and 3-4 cups of water.

Kindnapping bid: Four Land in Police Net By SSNews Aug 18, 2006, 21:56 The police on Friday produced four persons before media who allegedly attempted to kidnap a girl from the city on Thursday. Their two accomplices are yet to be traced. The police have categorically denied involvement of son of any police official of the rank of SP in the case. The police also appealed to victim girl to cooperate with police while Ishar Singh who had rescued the girl from the clutches of ruffians has announced to fight the case till the accused were put behind the bars. In a thickly attended press conferece, SSP SS Sriwastava said following the vital clues police arrested four persons namely Vishal kumar alias Shally, Suraj Kumar, Surinder Singh alias Gurnam Singh alias Gama and Ashu. Their accomplice Deepak alias Deepu and Rajan Bhatti are still at large. "These are mere rumours whose origin would be investigated," he said regarding the involvement of VIP's son in the case. The police have registered a case against them under section 354, 365, 397 IPC and 25/54/59 Arms Act at a police station on the statement of Ishar Singh. Police would aslo recommend a deserving reward for Ishar Singh for his exemplary act of bravery. Notably, Ishar had challenged six persons who were attempting to kidnap a girl who had arrived from Delhi on Thursday morning at around 5:30am. His arm and head was injured while saving the girl. Sriwastava said police had traced the Maruti van bearing registration number 02 E 6158 which belongs to one Harish Kumar, father of Vishal Kumra who used to ferry students to school in the van. The acused were in inebriated condition when they committed the crime. He said the victim girl had not come forward as yet and also appealed her to help police while assuring to keep her identity guarded. Six miscreants kidnapped a young girl from near the bus stand in Amritsar but she was rescued by a Sikh devotee returning from Golden Temple who saw girl being dragged into Maruti van. He was attacked with rod by kidnappers before they fled. The son of a Superintendent of police posted in Amritsar is said to be among the accused. The Sikh devotee who belonged to Hyderabad was seriously injured having his leg and an arm fractured. He is admitted in Guru Ram Dass hospital here. He was returning from Golden Temple in his Nova car when he saw six youth forcibly pushing the girl into van. The girl daughter of a senior army officer was an engineering student in Delhi and she had travelled from Delhi in a bus to visit her parents. She was looking for an auto rickshaw when accused spotted her. According to eyewitnesses, Ishar Singh followed the kidnappers in his car and bumped into them to stop their car. The accused came out of the car and attacked Ishar Singh injuring him seriously. Even after Ishar Singh's leg and arm was fractured, he pulled out the girl from clutches of kidnappers and drove her to nearby police station. Police later took Ishar Singh to hospital. By the time police reached on the spot, the accused had fled. According to Ishar Singh, the accused were travelling in Maruti van No.PB 02 E 6158. She was waiting for an autorickshaw to take her to Harmandar sahib when two boys in a Maruti van, PB 02/E 6158, started to harass her. She held off, at which they left, but returned with four others. The six then bundled her into the van and drove off. Ragi Ishar Singh, who was returning from Harmandar Saheb and had been watching the goings on, tried to block the van with his innova. He overtook it near Rambagh. The abductors tried to reverse and flee, but Ishar Singh had pounced on the driver and pulled him out by then. The six, all of them drunk, hit him on the head, legs with rods. They broke his left hand before they escaped. When i made the girl sit in my car, her clothes were torn and she had bruises on her cheeks, lips and other parts of the body. I left her at Kotwali police station, for recording her statement, and went to Guru Ram Das hospital for treatment", he said. The girl, said to be the daughter of Delhi-based Army officer, disappeared from the kotwali police station soon after, it is learnt. The SP's (city-I) office is located in the building next door. Sernior Superintendent of Police S.S. Srivastva, when contacted, tried to downplay the incident, admitting to an abduction attempt alone. When confronted with the Ragi's statement, Srivastva gave some ground, saying the girl had been abducted. "Though the victim is not available to lodge a complaint, we are registering a case on the statement of Ishar Singh," the SSP said. Denying the involvement of an SP's son in the shocking incident, Sri Vastva said that they were in the process of indentifying the accused.
