  1. Gurfateh Ji, Recently, Sant Anoop came to America and is still here I believe. I know this because I saw him a few times here in Maryland. His kirtan was absolutely amazing... I was wondering if anybody recorded any of the kirtan he did while he was in America, either Maryland, or anywhere else... Or if anybody has access or knows where to download them from, because I would really like these recorded shabads... They were amazing... Thank you... Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh...
  2. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9...esson&hl=en Here you go veer ji... this one is for simran... there is more as well for different shabads, once you click on this, and then look to the right, and there's a whole list of shabads that you can learn on the vaja... daas doesn't know who created this initially, but it was a great idea... hope this helps ji...
  3. ahhh... i miss lifting weights in the gym... those were the days... i need to hit it up again though... nothing like that feeling of not being able to move your biceps without immense, pain.. the very first or second day after you just started working out and you try to act all hard in front of everybody at the gym.... so you max out, and then every little movement in your bicep just makes you scream in pain the next day... you know what i'm talkin bout, right singh with dunalli? and then after maxing out your pecs the first day you start working out... you can't even take your shirt off the next day, because the soreness in your chest just makes you immovable in your upper body... ahhh.. i miss that... :D
  4. Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji doesn't do any filmi tunes... At least I haven't heard any... And Bhai Niranjan Singhs kirtan is incredible... one of my favorites... Anybody know if he's coming down to the USA? Most of what I have heard of his sounds very commercial and filmi style to me. hmm... can you give me an example of a shabad that you think is filmi? just out of curiousity...

  13. oh... thank you so much, this is great news...
  14. Yup... do you know if he's coming ji?
  15. I would say buy them a really cool mp3 player with a lot of space, and preload/fill it all with shabad kirtan with their favorite ragis.... man, that would be such a tight gift....
  16. Bro... This IS a major thing... The only "cap" a sikh should wear is his turban... We cannot stop sikhs all over the world from wearing caps, but it's important to distinguish right from wrong in our community, rather than to send mixed signals to our youth who are very impressionable by these "little things"... Gurfateh
  17. I heard rumors that he is coming to the U.S... Can anybody please confirm this? (keeping my fingers crossed, i really hope so... ) Fateh!
  18. Yeah, seriously... well said... like you said, they are not even born into it, and yet they choose to live a pure life... we as "punjabi sikhs" take it for granted because we are born into it... and they don't... they do their nitnem, every day... every single day, i've seen documentaries... they are not only great sikhs, but role models and inspirations... so what if they do yoga.. that's how they relax... don't we all play sports and games and do other things? it's so sad, that some people in this world will hate, hate, hate... because that's all they know how to do... this guy is here hating, while the 3ho sikh is japping naam... all 6 of this guys questions were designed to attack 3ho for absolutely no reason... just read the questions, none of them has any substance or truth... gurfateh
  19. Singh, I am here to let you know that your statements are very ignorant and hurtful to all gursikhs, not just white sikhs. Your statements are the result of a lack of education on sikhism and obviate clearly the hate that you have for all others that are not "exactly like you." This is nothing other than race on race hate. I am embarrased to have read what you have written, and cannot believe that you are a singh (if indeed you even are). If you are indeed a god-fearing gursikh, you should step up and give them the apology that they're due and never talk such garbage again... it's up to you... to each, his own... forgive me if i've said anything wrong...gurfateh... waheguru
