Both Christians and Muslims hate Jews for religious reasons. Christians less so but their hatred is based on belief that the Jews allowed Jesus to be crucified when could have saved his life when Pontius Pilate offered to release either Jesus or Barabbas who was a Jewish leader. It depends whether you want an answer that is politically correct or an answer based on common sense and a study of history. Common Sense answer Muslims are taught in the Koran not to accept any non-Muslims as their friends and to only stay friends with fellow Muslims. Muslims can lie in order to promote their religion and a lie is a good thing in their belief system if it leads to the attainment of a Muslims' objectives. The incident fuels the row over airport security following the arrest of more than 20 people allegedly planning the suicide-bombing of transatlantic jets from the UK to America. It comes amid growing demands for passenger-profiling and selective security checks. It also raised fears that more travellers will take the law into their own hands - effectively conducting their own 'passenger profiles'. The passenger revolt came as Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary was accused of using the terror crisis to make money. Government sources say he boasted to an official at the Transport Department: "Every time I appear on TV, I get a spike in sales." Just heard from the camp guys that Monty Panesar was also in the house and due to an injury suffered to his left hand (bowling hand) he can't now ever play cricket for England! Just read something on mrsikhnet blog. A point to note is that Gurmustak Singh has been a camper at the camp in 2004 and also has close links with the camp organisers even inviting some of them to give talks at the 3HO summer solstice camp. He has been advertising the camp on his blog many times and the comments are usually from the organisers or sikhs outside UK who have no idea of the issues with the camp. ^^^^ Gurmustak writes I just finished my doing my banis this morning and went on to check my email as I normally do in the morning and was shocked to hear about what happened last night in England. There have been some people who have been on a mission to discredit and shut down the Sikh Student Camp (which is an awesome camp) which happens every year in England. Apparently they are not giving the police any information. Sikh Student Camp started today in spite of all the hardships, and is at full capacty! Interesting post and something that we all need to consider. In the West more and more people are beginning to realise that this not about 'oppression' of Muslims, Palestine or any other Muslim issue. Apart from some die hard liberal lefties whose hatred of Blair and Bush blinds then to what is happening, most people now know that the issue is Islam itself. Islam attempted to take over the world just after its was founded, it oppressed millions from Spain to India. Thankfully some areas of the world were saved from having to live under Sharia law. China, Western Europe, parts of Africa, Indo-China etc. Some attempts were made to get back the holy land of the Christians through the Crusades. Although nowadays universally condemned they were in essence an attempt by Christians to take back wat had originally been their land. Islam was the aggressor in the 7th Century having invaded Christian lands of the middle east. Islam then went into decline and the danger of Islam was forgotten. Now flush with oil money Islam is again threatening the west and other non-Muslim areas.

They way to prevent civilian casualties is that both armies have uniforms. Hazbollah who in all their propaganda videos wear black uniforms along with some yellow sashes on their foreheads but when Israel attacked they wore civilian clothes. I respect you opinion but I think you are wrong. It is Hazbollah and the French who want a quick ceasefire and Israel which wants to expand the fight by having a full invasion. What rights are Hazbollah fighting for? The right to send rockets into Israel without the inconvenience of an Israeli response. Britain, US and Israel realise where the danger lies, it's fanatics like Hazbollah who would happily slit your throat as an Infidel! Bush has just got a bit closer to realising what the whole of the non-Muslim world is up against it's Islamic Fascism. Maybe soon the rest of the media will realise that. Btw did you know that the aim of Muslim terrorists such as Hazbollah, Hamas? They want the lands that were once ruled by Muslims to come back under the control of the Muslims again. That's places like Spain, Eastern Europe and Israel. It also means Punjab and the rest of India. In the end they want these places under Sharia Law. Is that ok with you? Galloway is a complete <banned word filter activated>! He was Saddam's best friend and never raised his voice when Saddam was killing thousands of people and was actually shown on TV praising him. He only got elected because Muslims will elect any muppet who talks on their behalf as they perceive that the war is against their religion and not terrorism. He used to represent a seat in Scotland but moved to one is east London because it is a Muslim area. The problem is that his idea of an interview is to stick to one point and basically shout that point at the interviewer. He said in the interview that Israel did not leave all of Lebanon in 2000 so that's why Hazbollah is attacking Israel. He's wrong, the UN certified that israel had left all of Lebanese territory in 2000 so there is no case for Hazbollah to be attacking Israel. They interviewer seemed to hold her own and at one stage shouting at the <banned word filter activated> to let her finish her question. As for Israel getting a beating, Isreal has lost about 40 troops and killed in excess of 400 Hazbollah terrorists. Hardly a beating?

In my view he has a good chance to win the award. I can't see anyone else coming close at the moment but what will determine it will be how he does on the Ashes tour of Australia. A few weeks ago not many people gave him a chance of even being on the team for the tour but he's done so well that he's now certain of a place. The next test match against pakistan will be interesting. Pakistan will have all their best players back especially the bowlers so it will make a good match. Let's hope Monty does well in that test as well as in Australia. Baring a very bad performance he will win the award.

It's so easy to excuse the fanatics of Islam that purposefully attack innocent people. In the last five years we've had so many terror attacks and instead of knowing what the threat is we have people come up with lame excuses like this. Muslims are 20% of the world population yet around 95% of all terror attacks can be attributed to them. Haven't you read or heard that the proud Muslim boast is that they love death like non-Muslims love life. Is there anything like the cult of death in other religions?

Could be they and their families have been living in fear for years because hazbollah terrorists have been lauching rockets at their homes for years. It's payback time. Don't get sucked into the propaganda war the media is going all out to show that only lebanese civilians are being killed by israelis. Some Arab photogapher just got fired by Reuters because he was photoshopping the images to make them appear more gruesome. The bombs these kids are signing 'with lovw' probably took out some hazbollah terrorists. Be good when they get the terror chief nasrallah.

It might be no where near the standards of other International airports but unless we all start using the airport then there is no reason for the government to update the facilities. We all complain about having to land in Delhi and how the money we spend goes into the Delhi economy, now we have a chance to fly direct to Amritsar so we should all be using that route
