  1. Go and visit interior of punjab u can see majourity of vehicles with sant ji picture and now singhs openly hold khalstan conferences , and openly raise slogans. I am one of them people who visits india every year i spend a hell of a lot of time there and i have not seen any of this, dont believe it, its nonsense. Most of the people i have spoken too and i make a poiunt of speaking to [people about this issue say the same thing bhindranwale was bad and not good.
  2. Is anyone aware of this monkey Monmohan singh khalsa http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=story_23-11-2002_pg7_11 There is never going to be a khalistan so either we fight for making a better world as we are or we throw punjab back into troubled times. you are severley deluded. stop listening to pakistani muslims who are pumping the situation Also when i said respect before 1984 i meant the common man had respect for anyone in a turban but after it all changed they were seen as terrorists and evil doers and guess whos fault 1984 was. I know indian government etc. Anyway if you want to fight for khalistan i suggest you go there and make it a reality, you are not doing anything sitting behind your computer you keyboard warriors. or you could declare southall khalistan or malton in toronto as that would be more likely and you live here. i would say to you midn your own bubiness.
  3. kuljug your a joke and a disgrace to sikhism, i would hate to think people like you represent us. unfortunately they do as people like me dont make as much noise. regarding fighting for rights in india, what rights are you fight for currently or used to ufight for before fighting for another country???????? Sikhs were respected prior to 1984.
  4. thats not what i woudl expect to hear from a peace loving person who is following sikhi?? I really could not care less what you expect. The OP links to a discussion forum where Hindu RSS followers do beadbi of Sikhi and the Gurus themselves. Perhaps yous should read the forum before you offer an opinion. Sikhs aren't pacifict treehuggers who sid idly by while their Gurus are being disrespected. I don't love peace, I love my Guru. Regards, K. That everyone is my point made for me. Thnaks kuljug singh. You really are clasping at the fundementals there arnt you. That is what is wrong with our religion its open for abuse by fundementalists like yourself. We aint tree huggers, it is righteous to draw the sword etc etc sikhism is so much more than that, we are no different from muslims in this respect in that we are easily manipulated and taught to hate, call that what you like. love your fellow man, forget god and religion be a sant unto yourself. I dont love peace i love my guru, that is very very sad indeed, you sound like a pre pubescant teenager, amins i ask for this person to be warned for bringing sikhism into disripute, he is obviously stupid
  5. thats not what i woudl expect to hear from a peace loving person who is following sikhi??
  6. I am sorry it was a spelling mistake, i am typing very quick and am not bothering to check what i wrote, sorry will be more carefull in future
  7. Things wont change for the better in khalistand, because it will be the same people in power same police but the country will be less freedom and more killing in the name of god, not somewhere i would want to be. Its not a good idea, lets fight for rights in india. I cant believe people still think there may be one. No one in india wants it, its a way for those evil gianis to raise money in the west and create terrorism in punjab. I am sad to say but there will be another 1984, when the whole state is thrown back another 50 years and more sikhs and hindus are killed on both sides, there is just too much money to be made in the west. makes you feel ashamed doesnt it. Also there were many hindu deaths no one speeks of the hindus killed leading up to 1984
  8. Need i tell anyone about the rapes and sexual assaults by gianis, of which there was one incident near me. How many of you would trust your children to be looked after by gyanis?? i would not. i am sorry the one or 2 have ruined the name of all of them in my eyes. I am making the point these things have nothing to do with religion but down to individual. However people that prey the most and outwardly show they are very religious tend to be the most deviant ones. There is a christian saying "closer to the alter the bigger the sinner" i think this is the case here. You see religious people can do anything they want because then they can ask for forgiveness and if they do enough seva they think they will be forgiven. Thats why i dont trust anyone who is too religious. Going back to the original point, every religion has its rapists and perverts, the west is more likely to report it and prosecute it, thats why it could seem it happens more in wester societies, however i think it happens more in places like the middle east and india, i myself have been told of the rapes and stuff that happen around villages of punjab and how homosexuality is rife etc. Its ebcause they are sexually repressed and everything is done behind doors and we all know what happens when we do things behind closed doors, yes it generally is usually much worse. Or was the point we hate hindus__???
  9. Well it definately werent these ladies experience of india, offcourse it does depend on where they are also. they just were hassled more by sikhs in delhi mainly.
  10. How pathetic. is it there religion that nmakes them molesters??? I was having a conversation with some travellers in india and the general consensus amongst the ladies in the group was that the Sikh guys were the most problem for them, making lewd comments and touching them up etc, and hence they were very down on sikhs, much to my shame. One of the girls told me how she was chased by a sikh in delhi with suggestive lewd comments and he was a airport official. This coupled with the the bad reputation we generally have in both india and the world as terrorists and extremists, make me very sad. does someone want me to find other sikh people who have done such things???, a quick search will find lots of sikhs undertaking such acts. Therefore its nothing to do with religion or beliefs. How pathetic. is it there religion that nmakes them molesters??? 11. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with what you are doing, ZERO, ZILCH, not one single wrong thing with what you are doing. As long as you do it with excellence and commitment you are on the right level. Last week I was at my cousins house and talking about Monty Panesar and he was telling us about how a couple of the white English girls in his office think that Monty is handsome and attractive and they would love to date him because he is a great cricketer and when he dances around in celebration he looks attractive --- no doubt these militants would say that cricket is all kanjar because of that too. When the Taliban took over in Afghanistan the first thing they did was batter people listening or playing music. When the fundamentalist Christians took over in England hundreds of years ago the first thing they did was ban music. People who talk about 'kanjar' at innocent and joyful things like music and dancing which are expressions of life and soul should not be taken seriously, people that cannot differentiate between music and 'kanjar paana' have deficiencies of the mind. As long as it is in the right place and at the right time it is all good. Keep up the good work, don't worry about what Taliban people think, keep playing strong, I am proud of you, and I hope to see you play one day! Guru Fateh Spot on i could not agree more, these obviously are brainwashed militants and can be ignored as they are like taliban of the sikhs. Punjabi culture is basically being kept alive eg music dancing etc by the Indian punjabis an te punjabis around the world who are mainly bu not solely sikhs as some are hindus i guess. In Pakistan this aspect of punjabi culture has been almost entirely wiped out by islam for the same reason as islam considers music as evil and thus haram. Islam has a history of wiping out culture wherever it went as it all encompassing in every aspect of there lives. Like i or not sikhs and punjabi culture is entwined and can and do go hand in hand. We have to try and seperate spirituality and culture, they are different things. I too love m punjabimusic and love punjabi culture. culure meaning the punjabi way. Now this will mean different things to differen people but to me its not all about Sikhism and religion. Its about food, music and the ways people relate to one another, and if someone wants to have a lovely peg in the evening then there is no harm, if however you dont want one then dont. What i am trying to say is that if you are a sikh and dont agree with certain things, then you cant stop others enjoying what punjabi people have been enjoying for centuries. Also i would like to note that i have known the types of eople that may have soken to you and i can say that they were the most hypocritical people i have ever known allways trying to upset people who in reality were not upsetting anyone eg. Like someone playing bhangra. They were the most bitter and twisted people i have ever met, allways finding ways to upset when it was none of there business. Personally because of these people i dont get too invlolved in anything to do with religion because i know the sorts of people that are invloved. Just tske as look around this site, you get the picture of a very militant religion that maybe some people are insecure about. Its sad. Anyway i wish the original poster every success, its people like you that make us proud, not just the ones with turbans like monty, but anyone from punjabi culture, ie sikhs hindus etc. Dont worry about these millitants, they are just sad individuals who are against everything that does not quite fit into sikhism, come on guys no one can live like that, can they????? Laugh, joke and have fun, life is but short, what really matters is that we treat eachother well, because that is what you will be judged on, not on how well you followed any particular religion.
