  2. Fateh Ji, Some important points raised by AK-47. I agree with almost everything that you have said, but in this day and age almost everyone has access to a pc, and so providing a helpful medium would be advantageous. Whoever sits on the other side of the computer should know what they are on about so that they can help others and as you mentioned professional training is a very good point… (self edited) Anyway, nothing else on my part to add to this discussion, but bhul chuk maaf just in case...
  3. Fateh Ji, This is an excellent resource. Back in the day when Sikhawareness.com was set up, most of the Mod's there had msn adds and a lot of people who came across the forums added the Mod's for advice. Some of the situations that came up were for example, · Kes and dastaar at school, · Dealing/coping with parents who are not into Sikhi · Wanting to run away from home · Basic advice on everyday things in life in relation to Sikhi (going out with people, clubbing etc), and much more. There are a lot of people out there who need advice, and talking to a stranger helps when talking about it, as they do not need to worry about being embarrassed by talking to people they know. If possible, try and get ids on yahoo aswell, as some people don't use/have access to msn. I’d spoken to some people about setting something like this up, but it looks like you saved us the work If you spread the word, I’m sure you will be run off your feet with people asking for advice. All the best with it… :TH:
  4. Fateh Ji, I have to agree with AmaN on this one. I was at the Atam Ras programme in Wolverhampton last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fact that there were not dozens of people recording the same thing meant I could see the Ragi's as the view was not obstructed by camera's and people jumping up and down every few minutes. Having been to a fair few programmes where the front end of the hall by the stage is full of cameras and people operating them, I found this experience thoroughly enjoyable. I look forward to going again tonight  Fateh Ji.

  6. ^^ Very well said bro...^^
  7. Fateh Ji. I just thought that I would mention that I know a Phaji in midlands that makes shastar, I posted a picture of a kirpan he made for me, in case you don't remember ( ), this is what it looks like He's also made me Kara's. One of his design is, He has a lot more designs and makes them out of sarbloh, steel and other metals. Although the prices vary a lot, the kara's are custom made and unique.
  8. Bhain Kaur Jee, what colour is the book? is it a red coloured book? Fateh Ji, Singh 47 Paaji, Volume 4 is blue in the set that I have... (By the way I recently purchased mine on 14/04/04)
  9. Fateh Ji all... I recently got myself a copy of Anand Chamatkar and though I'm nowhere near vol 4, I had a look at page 17 it to have a quick read of what Singh 47 is referring to and I don't have it in the version I have, in fact no story starts of that page.
