  1. There is something seriously wrong with the mentality of Indians. No sane minded person can walk away when these crimes are being committed before their eyes. How they can even live with themselves is just beyond me. It makes me so sick.
  2. I see both sides are equally shallow. And then you have both sides complaining how cruel their partners are which is their fault because their primary attraction wasn't based on having good qualities and personality. ^__^
  3. Very true. I wouldn't even find this funny if they were males instead. Seriously shows the perception they have of women deeply integrated in their head without realising.
  4. If you see these women as sisters, it's not funny. Replace this with singhnia (Guru Gobind Singh Jee's daughters), no one would find this funny but extremely offensive.
  5. Ha! Do you need women to be delivered to you because you have no charm to attract them. And who was the douchebag that liked this? You guys don't mind shaming yourselves. Making yourselves appear cheap without any discipline.
  6. Clearly these women can't be gursikh/amritdhari if they prefer to marry clean-shaven men. The real question here is who did they survey.
  7. You are not obliged to answer. The same can be said to you- "go do some Naam Jap". You should read this: http://manvirsingh.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/different-views-on-meat-reflections-on.html?m=1
  8. @Akalifauj I am not speaking about uncut hair, but we already have Rehatnama for this. But for meat, Gurbani has clearly spoken against it, but yet we still have Sikhs questioning this. This isn’t something solely I believe; you should know there are many Gursikhs against all meat entirely. I believe in Guru Sahib’s word, and that is all that matters. ba[n]dhae chasam dheedha[n] fanaae || dhuna[n]aeeaa muradhaar khuradhanee gaafal havaae || rehaao || gaibaan haivaan haraam kusathanee muradhaar bakhoraae || dhil kabaj kabajaa kaadharo dhojak sajaae ||2|| O human being, whatever you can see with your eyes, shall perish. 9. @Akalifauj I'm well aware of plants being alive, just as many other things are that we cannot see with the human eye. But Gurbani has highly disapproved of meat consumption and even likened those that eat meat to a goblin and beast. To one day say you do not eat meat, but then another eat meat purely for the act of survival shows a weakness as one could not abide by Guru sahib's words.
  10. Sarbloh bibek is more to do with spiritual health than worldly health. That is the reason why one has to do swas swas simran while making their food which is absorbed into sarbloh. Same happens with our kirpan and kara. Sarbloh is your shield. ^ This goes against Guru Granth Sahib Jee, which is Guru Sahib’s word. So most likely, what the historians have made sikhs to believe, is false. But if what you say is true (which I do not believe to be), this would show a weakness in sikhi. And also show sikhs in our history had normal attributes of a human because they fell prey to their weak instincts. A real sikh of Guru Gobind Singh Jee has the guns of Vaheguru or would at least practice the guns of Vaheguru. Killing another innocent being is an act of tyranny and is actually the same as muslims. Innocent animals are not asking for liberation but these Sikhs feel that they need to force and kill them to liberate them. This is the same motive behind a muslim when they murder non-believers.
  11. Guru Granth Sahib Jee is direct from Guru Sahib and has spoken against meat. Historians are not above Guru Sahib and most likely twist things to suit their weak and evil needs.
  12. There is something really disturbing about this. If she was forced, why did she receive punishment? It would make sense for the individual that forced her to receive punishment, but preferably this should be dealt with by the police or their families. If she lied that she had been forced, then why and who is she lying to? It depends how damaging this is but she should be scolded, preferably by her family. If both consented to this participation, then it is not in anyone’s place to punish them; they are not your property. If you would like to help, then use sweet speech.
  13. Lol Honestly, I'd feel sickened to be anywhere near these "singhs".
  14. Wow. "Poor old chatanga"?! Seems like you are now devoid of compassion. Call it what you like but you are still a senseless murderer to me. And your actions are equivalent to a Muslim. Anyway, we have our own opinions.
  15. Humans have the intelligence to understand right and wrong, unlike animals. But why are you using a weak animal like a goat, why not kill a fierce animal like a lion? Probably because you would not survive. Having more intelligence than an animal or having the highest Joon, does not justify why it is ok to kill a goat. They are sentient beings like us. But since you believe they are not on the same level, what is the point of trying to experience the feelings of murdering a goat or gaining more compassion through this process if you believe they are not comparable to a human? Your compassion for animals is limited so you would not fully grasp all the challenges a warrior experiences. Why is it only important experiencing the pain given to another being, why not also experience the feelings of receiving the pain? That is another aspect of being a warrior too or is that too painful? You should learn the pain that is given to the goat. You seem to think the pain experienced by the goat is unimportant. You think killing goats is propagating Dharam? That is actually spreading more violence and cruelty in the world. There is nothing pure in that action and it is unjust. Goats go through 8.4 million life forms; they will get mukti, when Vaheguru wishes them to. They are not your concern. And neither do you know if you are actually giving them mukti. Most likely you are just piling on karmic debt that will take a lot of bhagti to remove. Your spirituality will be hindered due to this, so not sure when the Bir Rass or blessings from Vaheguru occurs.
  16. When I implied fellow sikh, I meant those that practice Jhatka, as they will have a better understanding and share the same passion in what you are doing. By doing so, you do not have to take the life of an innocent defenceless animal and you yourselves will be able experience and understand the feelings that are all involved in this practice. Murder of a goat and human are almost comparable because the two are sentient beings. Killing a human is only inhumane and horrendous in society because the law tells us that. In the end, despite of what all is being said; Vaheguru decides who will be his warrior. We can practice all what we need in worldly aspects, but Vaheguru blesses his sikh with his power in the end.
  17. I understood what you were saying. Let's agree to disagree.
  18. Yes, we have our own opinions on this matter. I don't understand how a child-like minded animal has anything to do with our business to increase compassion or to gain the courage to kill in the battlefield. If you want to do that, then kill your own fellow Sikh who will at least have the understanding why you want to murder him.
  19. I agree with above poster. Physical attraction is temporary and meaningless. You should marry someone for their qualities and characteristics. True physical attraction comes when there is a love and bond between the two. But I don't suggest you marry him if you continue with that thought as it is not fair or nice to him.
  20. I'm a lacto-vegetarian myself but I'm surprised at others insecurity. I totally respect those that practice veganism because I believe compassion and love are great qualities. I'm a firm believer that any kind of meat is wrong, even if it's jhatka meat. I don't understand how anyone can relate a warrior to someone killing a defenceless innocent animal, as if that's meant to teach someone how to be a warrior lol. I consider this very evil and un-sikh. And even if there are vegetarians that say they will eat meat for survival, they are not being true to themselves and are actually very weak-minded. That shows ones nonexistent spirituality as they are giving into their low and weak human instincts. Sikhs are meant to be powerful but that shows the complete opposite. There is the need to be strong and train physically but that alone is nothing if one does not love Vaheguru and Guru sahib. Spiritual strength exceeds anything worldly.
  21. The problem is that you fear death. If you become detached from your hopes/desires and live in vaheguru's will, then you wouldn't be. You also shouldn't be waiting for Kalki avatar to come and save you, you should strive to become a better Sikh yourself of Guru Sahib. Don't worry about what could or would happen. Even if some sort of apocalypse happens, it's for our own good.
