  3. Sorry but im about to go off the topic but i do feel the need to put this in. From reading the replies of many people it kinda makes me laf....lol... this whole thread was about Cricket team, however it has now become a very touchy subject. Now im not gonna rabble on but just think to your selves this is over a forum and we cannot agree and we are so bitter against each other... how the hell do you think your gonna be united.... Fat Chance of that!.... You guys have already put flaws between each other by labelling this persons from this jatha, and this guys from this jatha.... well stick ur jatha's to urself... cus not all people wanna belong to these so called Jatha's.... I think people are finding it difficult enough to practise Sikhi and u guys are rambling on about Jatha's... why dont you guys concentrate on ur sikhi than bickering with each other. ps im not having a dig at anyone in particular. If iv offended anyone please forgive
  4. WaheGuru Je Ka Khalsa WaheGuru Je Ke Fateh! Hey Panji PM me if your comfortable, I've helped quite alot of girls that have gone through similar situations that dont keep kesh but went looking for acceptance from sangat...I dont usually do this but everyting about your story was sooooo familar and resonated with me...if you need to talk dont hesitate to PM... sometimes people just need to talk and let out their feelings hunna. And dont worry about the judging thing...I have seen and heard everything, nothing shocks or surprises me. WaheGuru Je Ka Khalsa WaheGuru Je Ke Fateh! Like this Veer said if u need to chat in confidentiality then speak to someone u may feel relaxed with and comfortable.... either speak to bhaji singh 1986.... or u can chat to myself. I hope u feel better after speaking to someone Fateh
  5. Again hate mongers hating indian cricketers who have nothing to do with goi policies or support goi policies. Why don't you also target sikh punjabi kabaddi players with kesh and dhara in them after all they are also representating india when they come abroad to play? I cannot beleive fanatics will go this low and start targetting indian cricketers and their supporters instead of targetting goi and its policies. After I checked Indian cricketers are only there to play a game and show their performance good or bad and dont agree with stupid GOI policies. so take your hatred to right direction. Last time i checked country you live in soo called eng land, are the same people who destroy khalsa raj maintained by maharaja ranjit singh, killing many sikhs, stole and destory many sikh scriptures, kohinoor diamond of sikhs. If we go by your flawed logic and start mixing harmless sport with indian rubbish politics then... If i m guilty to support indian cricket team then others are as much guilty to support england team, after all their hands are nor rubbed with water as well but they are dirty with sikh blood. A great reply... agree with you 100%.... people like the creator of the topic are so narrow minded...lol
  6. i didnt know a country can kill tens of thousands of Sikh youths, Massacred over 10000 after Indira Gandhi's death, Attacked Harmandir Sahib and Akal Takht. Must be 1 hell of a country Yes the people of the country may be corrupt but what the hell has the cricket players got anything to do with killing or massacres?.... Cricket is a sport which people enjoy playing and watching, so do not bring religion into sport. So if ur so against the Country why dont u take all the sikhs out of that country and bring them to whereever u live... that way noone gets killed or masacred. I wonder if u got any relatives in india?.... and do they support india or do they support Pakistan, cus there was no killing there was there?
  7. Now i wonder how these so called Freshies are feeling back in india (including your families)... I wonder if there happy that india got knocked out... You may feel glad but some people dont, some people actually support the country where there parents have come from. I wonder what country you support when there are big tournaments being played.
  8. waaheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh!

  11. waaheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh veerji

  12. I dont really want to tell you what to do cus i dont know u on a personal level, however all i would say is stand up for yourself if u feel comfortable doing so, or either take a group of friends with you and speak to him. As i said i dont know wat type of guy you are i dont want to put you in danger.... sometimes talking to the person and explaining to him how ur feeling makes a big difference. Fateh
  13. Well iv just searched for GOLDEN TEMPLE in google and it brought sikhinet websites, and other sikh websites..... so i wouldnt worry about that. Also when going into that link u gave, Yes it does say HINDU TEMPLE (which is a mistake) however it does state the below: Giving the reader information about Darbar Sahib... so i cant see the reader gettin confused with religions. "The Golden Temple or Darbar Sahib, situated in Amritsar, Punjab, is the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism. In its architecture are included, symbols associated with other places of worship. This is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds. The history of the Darbar Sahib starts with Guru Amar Das, who took the first steps towards building a shrine. Around the Golden Temple, the holy city of Amritsar came into being. His successor, Guru Ram Das, came to live near this tranquil and peaceful site, and started building the pilgrimage centre around the small pool, (later to become the Sarowar) which had intially drawn Guru Amar Das. By the time of Guru Ram Das' death, the pre eminence of the Darbar Sahib among the sikh devotees was unquestionable. The Harmandir Sahib, or the sanctum sanctorium, was envisoned by Guru Arjan Dev. This was concieved by him to reflect the resoluteness, clarity and simplicity of the Sikh relegion. The Harmindir Sahib today stands as the hallowed symbol of the indestructability of the Sikh faith. The gilding, marble, mirror and inlay work on the Harmandir Sahib came much later. It was the nineteenth century during the reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, that the proud people of Punjab lavished their wealth on their shrine in Amritsar. The Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs, was installed in the Harmandir Sahib in 1604, three years after its completion. The location of the Granth Sahib here, adds to the sanctity & reverence of the Harmandir Sahib. Here lies the heart of Sikhism. This symbol of abiding faith and tolerance is held in high esteem by every Sikh. And this is the place which every Sikh dreams, ever so often, of visiting." Theres nothing to do, as its a mistake but corrected with the information provided Thanks
  14. Speak to your bro, but dont be to pushy with him that will make him not listen to you even more. Understand his feelings why he did it?.... let him explain to you! Dont blackmail him by talking about the past 'Shaheeds', however after a while then explain to him what others have done for our religion. Talking from experience nothing will change your mind until the person wants to do it himself. Dont take this the wrong way, as a sikh person your right its wrong to trim your beard however all i would say be there for your bro, dont be different towards him cus he's cut his beard, infact love him more, keep giving him advise but like dont NAGG. He will realise after a while and he will keep it when he feels like it.
  15. with daily effort you are, why? do you feel ashamed to have a real dhari? lol.... you make me laugh son... so im assuming you have a big Dharha?... thats your preference not mine but yours. My preference at the minute is not to have a "real dhari" as you say. That is entirely my decision. Before coming onto these forums please read the Title of the topic, this has nothing to do with what a guy looks like or wat he does but the FACT he was RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED BY A COPPER. I dont care if hes a trim singh or if he's a Amritari the POINT is he was RACIALLY DSCRIMINATED. Now I hope that has got through to u, you so called "Sikhs"... you people have alot to learn in life Fateh Exactly you the nail on the head 100% correct Cheers mate, people need to concentrate on thier own beliefs and make sure they are doing everything right, rather than looking at others. People will respect you far more.
