this is beautifully witten..=) while reading, some questions came to the surface: someone telling us what a "REAL" SPIRITUAL BEING is like? does he/she only have ALL of those qualities? does s/he have to have all of those qualities ? or maybe a spiritual being doesn't really care how the world perceives him/her? where does his/her realization comes from? very nice find @ Anon..._kaur

Maybe it's just me, but I can't understand what they are singing most of the time :sad: if you know the shabd u would=) i do have hard time understanding sometimes (if i dont know the shabd and/or if its my first time hearing it)...i usually listen to kirtan AT Night or when the sun isnt shinning outside. sunshine distracts me lol use head phones/high speakerz(if no ones home )

those of you who are saying this thread/post should be deleted ...please lets look at the positives ? singhavelli i agree with u on all you have said but what would deleting this post do? it only educated me...here me out (im not talking about it educating me on this particular veer's pictures etc) i am happy someone posted it,cuz now we have different views on how sikhs view their fellow brothers/sisters' behavior/life style. the young ones(even OLD PEOPLE LIKE ME) who will read this thread will know that they are responsible for their own behavior. it has also brought to attention how some of us love looking at the wrong in others forgetting that we are only hurting ourselves. some of the posts here about what sikh is suppose to be like are wonderful and only teachers us about character of a sikh/human being if this post is deleted or wasnt brought to attention, a person like me prolly just end up boycotting the music or this person (yes would be very ignorant on my part ).PLUS would have never gotten a chance to know the beautiful views of singhavelli, sitargirl,revolutionary,cool water, singhni....and all im in rush...but if you guys feel like closing this thread, do it, but i would suggest do not delete it..because i would hate someone to get a wrong idea on this person.(this is only teaching us to be careful & not judge others. show some love towards each other people.... after all, each n evryone of us is held accountable for our actions(Karama) in this life...let waheguru be the judge) bhul chuk muaff karni

^^^ maybe back in the days we knew each other? or were here to learn and not pose our views on others? plus lets not forget about the jokes and funny stuff we used to say about each other? no one really took it to heart and loved it ( a happy family) :D

Veer this happens and glad u let it out. what are some of the things you did before that you want to do now? because there are many things sometimes we THINK are against sikhi when they really aren't. it would really help others to get a better picture of ur doubts and troubles and can give u better advice/help. this you will hear over and over again and its true: what works is being around great sangat. u dont even have to say anything to them, just being around them will lift ur spirit. even spending couple of hours will replenish you=) ~Akal ~

lol cute! i am used to saying paji/bhaji its funny...when i see an amritdhari (unless i have known them before ) i use veer/veer ji. it depends on how close i am to them and if they prefer to be called by their name or "veerji"...
