Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee started the great tradition of the free kitchen/langar with a 20 Rupee transaction by buying food and serving it as Langar to a group of Sadhus (Saints). Today people all over the world experience the profits of this 20 Rupee transaction. You can also dig in to some scrumptious Punjabi cuisine, make sure you bring your fellow students, regardless of their race, age, religion - Langar is open to all! You can also help serve the Langar - please attend and enjoy the food.

‘STUDENT KIRTAN DARBAR/SPIRITUAL VIBES’
Over the years Nottingham has gained a reputation for putting on some of the best student Kirtan Darbar’s, this year will be no different. The Kirtan will kick off at 6pm with some old skool Bibia blasting the dholki (as they do on a weekly basis), this will be followed by young inspiring Sikhs singing immortal verses that will be translated into student speak – so you guys can understand. The infamous BOSS stall will be out, so scrimp and save, as you won’t be able to resist the latest merchandise that will be on sale.
