i need help. i need to find the effect of ardas on the sangat.

Vaheguru ji ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji ki Fateh I have a request to all to the sangat; I have a pet living with me, and he is hurt, can you please do ardaas for his quick recovery, as well as his joon-mukhti (free from the 84lakh joon). I would apperciate if you remember him in your ardaas. Please refrain from any stupid posts - dharam (faith) is the son of compassion, and if you don't have compassion then... Dhanvaad. waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh I have learnt the ardaas ritual by observing sangat in the gurdwara- when to kneel, when to rise etc. Outside of the gurdwara, I do a personal and long ardaas (conversation with God) without the standard structure present in gutka sahibs. However now I am learning the ardaas, for the sake of community harmony and in case my services ever are called upon, I need to be able to perform the ritual correctly, but I don't know what is actually happening during ardaas. Please help me understand. Questions: - What is the reason for standing and folding hands? - After 'sarbat da bhala', who are we kneeling to? Since I have only been part of ardaas at the gurdwara- I have assumed this is matha tek to Guru sahib who is present, is this correct? Or is it like muslims bowing to God during their prayer ritual? When ardaas is performed outside the gurdwara and whenever Guru sahib is not present, does one still do matha thek to the floor? - Why do we kneel and stand up twice (before and after Fateh)? - When is 'Sab sikhan ko hukam hain..' to be said? I cannot find this hymn in my gutka sahib. - Or if you have time, please could you describe the full ritual in detail with spiritual explanations to each action. Sangat Ji... Can you all please help and do a ardas for my sister health. she has lymphoma cancer and has a scan tomorrow to show her tumour has shrank. We pray to Waheguruji that this is the case else the consultant has said there is nothing else they can do. My sister is not even 40 and has two very young kids and is a very good person. Please help me Sangat Ji. Thanks you.

Hi My fiance is going to court and if found guilty could be facing a few years. To what extent can you do ardas for someone else, for Waheguru to look after them and not let it happen? He doesn't practice Sikhi much but I am going to encourage him to start doing seva. I guess what I am trying to ask is, if I keep my own rehat strong and then pray for him, could Waheguru help me?
