  3. The 33 Swaiyas are found in the Dasam Granth Sahib one after the other. Akali Phoola Singh when he was a kid memorized all these by heart along with Nitnem Banis, Akal Ustat and a few other Shri Mukhwakh Bani's. Jathedar Sahib Akali Phoola Singh would not eat until he memorized a certain portion as written by Prem Singh Hoti http://www.scribd.com/doc/241178280/33-Swaiyas-W-English-Translations-and-Annotations-Bhai-Jodh-Singh-1953 33Swaiyas_BhaiJodhSingh_1953.pdf
  4. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, As I have been getting older and hopefully with the blessings of Maharaj, a little more able to understand baani, i have been reading a lot of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji, cross referencing with many different great scholars interpretations and wanted to raise the topic of Durga/Bhagauti ji? I dont mean to offend anyone or their beliefs by raising this topic, i would just like a deeper understanding of this matter. I am aware of the interpretation of Adi Shakti and the interpretations of Bhagauti being a sword, however this begs the question to what Bhagauti stands for then when at the start of Chandi Di Vaar, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj writes: ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗਉਤੀ ਜੀ ਸਹਾਇ ॥ ਵਾਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗਉਤੀ ਜੀ ਕੀ ॥ ਪਾਤਸਾਹੀ ੧੦ ॥ Now im humbly an okay reader of Gurmukhi but everywhere you look into the translations, the first interprets ਭਗਉਤੀ as a sword, then when speaking of the poem of Bhagauti in the sentence directly after, everyone interprets ਭਗਉਤੀ as Durga Maa in every translation. Why and how is this the case? If ਭਗਉਤੀ means the sword then would the tale of Chandi Di Vaar not make sense and why does it mean different in the next sentence? and if it is Durga Maa then whats the big deal and why do people get really offended when this is raised because isn't she just the sargun personification of the Adi Shakti of Akaal Purakh ji? And by interpreting it in this way its not in any way forgetting Akaal Purakh or worshiping another its just a way of understanding an aspect right? In addition to this, wouldnt all the beautiful puratan swaroops of Dasam Granth Sahib Ji make more sense this way as they have pictures of Durga? I am very sorry if this offends anyone or i have made grave mistakes or been misled, im just humbly trying to expand my knowledge and understanding and would greatly appreciate if anyone could help? thanks sangat ji.
  5. Sangat Jee, where online can one find the complete Katha of Sri Dasam Granth?
  6. A history of the neo-Chaupai Sahib. A plea-ful ballad wrought by Guru Gobind Singh Ji to depict the supreme dominance of his monotheistic entity, the 'Kabiyo Bach Bentai Chaupai' was an early victim of Colonial interests during the Anglo-Sikh Wars. Captivated by the mystical initiative imparted by the Khalsa ethos, the Colonial administration despite professing an ardent belief in extreme Abrahamic doctrines was not above indulging in subtle superstitious norms. Incorporating various intelligence emissaries in it's diplomatic delegations to Punjab, the latter hoped to learn the pivotal expressions behind the Khalsa's iron grip upon militant sovereignty. Various analyzations and essaying procedures presented a similar conclusion, highlighting the factor that the Khalsa's socio-textual heritage granted it an almost supernatural willpower which refused to bend under any decisive pressure. Refuting such a 'preposterous notion,' as perceived by the colonial nucleus, the latter dispatched a military agent Captain Murray who was tasked with preparing an elaborate exegesis upon the Khalsa universe and presenting it to the East India Company's military nerve center. Presenting himself as an arduous Bona Fide emissary tasked with advancing the perceived cordial relations between the Khalsa Court and the British Regency, the latter succeeded in assuring the assistance of the elusive Akali-Nihung, Ratan Singh Bhangu. As per Murray's instructions, and the Khalsa court's patronage, Bhangu prepared an excessive memorabilia visualizing the Khalsa's arduous struggle against the sub-continent's xenophobic Islamic rulers and multi-faceted Hindu traitors. His work, aptly entitled 'Sri Gur Panth Prakash' or the Guru's Adherence to Political Sovereignty, was dispatched to the heads of the Colonial polity in Britain and extensively combed through to identify the Khalsa's vulnerable heel. Realizing that the scriptural canons adhered to by the latter were a repository of fundamental and orthodox strength a bid was made, in the aftermath of the Khalsa empire's annexation into Colonial domains, to establish a new superficial evolution of the puritanical Khalsa and render it obsolete in face of Christian advances. Realizing the intensive influence of the Khalsa's heterogeneous parallels, the Akali-Nihungs; Udasis, Nirmalas etc. The later Colonial polity sought to establish a Catholicized precedent via establishing a census to identify and taxonomize the varied traditions permeating the sub-continent. To this end it emboldened various fundamental reformers-cum-revivalists such as the nefarious Arya-Samaj and the decisive Singh-Sabha to ingrain an evolved notion of 'faith' and 'religion' in the minds of their respective adherents. Both movements were constructed via a subtle European influence and easily dismantled the core functionaries of their respective faiths giving vent to intensively fallacious diatribes. Various enlistees of the Singh-Sabha 'revolution' launched an unwarranted offensive against their heterogeneous counterparts, catalyzing in the latter's alienation from the general mainstream. With the commencement of the latter movement's periodical influence into the early 1900's, the Colonial/Missionary aim was rendered blatantly mistimed in face of the various Khalsa revolutions birthed to eradicate all Christian, Hindu and Islamic influences from Punjab. Unfettered, however the regional Punjab polity dispatched the idiotic Teja Singh Bahasuria to render the very canonical heart of the Khalsa obsolete by birthing a new Adi Guru Granth. The Teja manuscript would be passed off as a historical artifact of paramount importance due to it's deliberate exclusion of the 'Raagmala' and be pertained as the authentic Guru of the panth. Teja's imbecilic execution failed, yet the latter succeeded in engineering a new design. The vilification and exclusion of the Dasam Granth from panthic circles. Revered on par with the Adi Guru Granth, the latter canon, parallel to the Sarbloh Granth, was traditionally paid obeisance to and was seen as a scriptural entity of the Guru's body. “Gur Nanak Puran Avtar...Agaya Pai Akaal Ki Tabhi Chalayo Panth Sabb Sikhon Ko hukam hai Guru Maneyo Granth. Dohra: Aad Guru te Dasam Loh Granth Panth Ki Tek. Gehe Puran Thiya Granth Yeh Daya Sarb Har Ek”. 'Guru Nanak is the full manifestation of the lord... only with the latter's blessings did the panth manifest. All Sikhs are commanded to obey the edicts of the holy Granth. This Granth consists of the Adi Guru Granth, the tenth (Dasam) and all-metal (Sarbloh) Granth. These shall consist as entities of veneration for the path and shall herewith be viewed as a singular entity.' -Giani Gian Singh Nirmala, 'Naveen Panth Prakash,' Vol.1, pg. 1840. With the advent of the 1920's, and the formation of the anti-puritanical SGPC, the 'Chaupai Sahib,' among other parallel sibling writings, was excessively shortened and vilified. Consisting of 27 poetic analyzations, it was deliberately minimized to 25 and perpetually reiterated at the Khalsa Vatican, the Darbar Sahib. Under Teja's equally imbecilic contemporary, Giani Kartar Singh Kalasiwala, the dual compositions of 'Chaupai Sahib' were expelled and various traditional norms were discarded. Via the guise of polarity and an Utopian infrastructure, the Khalsa's historic emphasis on retaining weaponry and a militant blue uniform was discarded. This brought the modernist mainstream in conflict with the traditional entities such as the Akali-Nihungs and the various educational entities promoting a puritanical perspective on the Khalsa ethos. Veiling their nefarious elemental offensives via reiterating the need for a 'Sikhism' (the suffix was an European addition to vilify the entire ethos), the latter succeeded in ousting the Akali-Nihung Singh Khalsa from the Akal-Takhat and excessively sidelining and stratifying the Udasis. The Akali-Nihungs commenced an arduous preservation of the various puritanical manuscripts which housed the authentic undiluted essayed essences of the Gurus. An operation which was revamped under the late Akali-Nihung Santa Singh who obtained and operated a printing press at Anandpur Sahib, which commenced an extensive printing of authentic scriptural treatises. Simultaneously various historic orders and schools also established a similar norm, a course which was heavily targeted by the neo-generation of modern Sikhs. The contemporary 'Chaupai' commences from 'Hamree Karo Hath De Racha,' and concludes at 'Gobind Das Tuhar.' It does not house the honorary 'Kirpa Kari ham par Jagmata,' or the 'Arril' nomenclature. Various arguments have been advanced for the latter portions expulsion, but it seems that the expulsion was a choice of random exclusion and there was no operational procedure constructed for the execution. Esoterically a shortened canon, such as the Gurus' recorded reiterations, presents an inescapable abyss, one which threatens to engulf the virgin panth. It is up to the contemporary panthic generation to preserve it's puritanical heritage and re-establish it's historic supremacy. http://tisarpanth.blogspot.co.nz/2013/08/the-minimized-request.html Now I have a facebook page people. So no need for you to say I ignore your righteous criticism. https://www.facebook.com/Tisarpanth

  10. I AM SO HAPPY TO TELL YOU....TODAY HISTORY WAS MADE!!!!!! When I turned on the TV.....Guess who I saw doing Katha at Bangla Sahib??? GIANI SHER SINGH AMBALA!!!!!!!! VAHIGURU!!!!!!!! These past few weeks have been very amazing in Delhi Gurdwaras Bhai Pinderpal Singh Jee did Katha there Bhai Jasvant Singh Parvana Jee did Katha there Giani Sher Singh Ambala Jee did Katha there Bhai Balbir Singh Jee did Keertan there Darbar Sahib Granthi did Katha there other Panthic Parchaaraks and Keertania did Katha and Keertan there This is further proof that it's all politics when people try and make blanket statements and say that SGPC is RSS, Jathedars are RSS, Badal is RSS, Makkar is RSS, etc. Reminds me of how Darshan and Dhunda call everyone RSS as well....hmm.... The biggest RSS is GONE. That was Sarna/Missionaries/Darshan/Kala-Afghana.....they are gone from Delhi Gurdwaras!!! It was only because of Sarna that they became famous in the first place. RSS and Sarna did massive advertisement and promotion of RSS agents (missionaries). Those who say that missionaries don't cause divisions in Sangat.....how come none of you haters have any answer when I ask that why are missionaries silent on Sarna's faults and major disgraceful acts committed in Delhi Gurdwaras, like Lakhi Shah Vanjara Hall for example? Also, the same missionaries speak against Bhai Pinderpal Singh Jee, Giani Sant Singh Maskeen Jee, Bhai Balbir Singh (stopped him from doing Keertan), etc. Sarna/Darshan/Missionaries are the biggest Sangat dividers and trouble makers....PERIOD. Here is the link to listen to the Katha: http://gurbani.co/katha_bs.php ^ It comes in two parts. To get to the second part, in the player click on the upwards facing arrow with the line underneath it and click on #2. ^If someone could record it somehow, it would be great, because this is historical and rare moment. Please put it on youtube! Thanks! VAHIGURU.

  13. http://www.panthic.org/articles/5488 (full article) After the meeting with Dhunda, PANTHIC.ORG sewadars along with accompanying Singhs approached the committee representatives and reiterated that Dhunda, who is being referred by his promoters as a “ਨਿਧੜਕ” (fearless) scholar and kathakar, is neither fearless and not a scholar, but a coward who is not even willing to admit Guru Gobind Singh Ji wrote three of our Nitnem Banees and not willing to honestly and directly answer our queries. In summary, Dhunda failed to answer any of the questions posed to him in a candid manner, and : Did NOT accept Sikh Rehat Maryada's Kirtan requirements and offered no apologies for twisting the Rehat Maryada's language. Did NOT accept Sikh Rehat Maryada and Mahan Kosh's Definition of Gurbani Did NOT accept Guru Gobind Singh Ji as the author of Sri Jap Sahib, Twaparsaad Sawayay, and Chaupai Sahib Nitnem Banees. Did NOT take responsibility for purposely associating with anti-Panthic individuals who were ex-communicated from the Sikh Panth. Did NOT accept Sri Akal Takht Sahib's HukamNama's prohibiting the criticism of Sri Dasam Bani, including popular shabds as: "ਦੇਹ ਸਿਵਾ ਬਰ ਮੋਹਿ ਇਹੈ" and continued to criticize them. http://www.panthic.org/articles/5488 (full article)
  14. http://panthic.org/articles/5483 PANTHIC.ORG | Published on December 30, 2012 SAN FRANCISCO (KP) - Sarbjit Dhunda, the controversial missionary preacher, who not long ago was summoned and reprimanded by Sri Akal Takht Sahib for making derogatory statements about Gurbani kirtan recited at Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, has again become the center of controversy as he continues to malign and distort the sacred Bani of Guru Gobind Singh Ji enshrined in Sri Dasam Granth Sahib. On February of 2012, Sarbjit Dhunda appeared at Sri Akal Takht Sahib in front of the five Singh Sahibans and asked for forgiveness for his transgression. According to Giani Gurbachan Singh, the current installed Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Dhunda assured the Singh Sahibans that he would refrain from making such remarks in the future. Dhunda has also denied being the voice behind the an older video posted on YouTube by his own cohorts in which he is clearly heard making insulting remarks on the verses of Sri Jaap Sahib. News Coverage on Dhunda's Punishment in February 2012 In return for his appearance, Dhunda received a mild “tankhah” (religious penance) for the sacrilegious remarks about Sri Darbar Sahib Kirtan, but no less than four months later he again restarted to spew venom against the sacred Bani of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and in a June 5th speech at Nagpur, Maharashtra, he claimed that kirtanees in the Sikh Panth are continually violating the Sikh Rahit Maryada by reciting verses from Sri Dasam Granth. – Sarbjit Dhunda (June 5th, 2012 – Nagpur) Dhunda claims that the Sikh Rahit Maryada only allows recitation of verses from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Bhai Gurdas Ji’s Kabits/Vaars, and Bhai Nand Lal Ji’s Gazals during kirtan. Dhunda, who often ridicules and chides other kathakars as being “ਗਪੌੜੀ ਸਾਧ”, shows his true colors by distorting and twisting the wording in the 'Kirtan' section of the Sikh Rehat Maryada. The actual statement is as follows: (ਸਿੱਖ ਰਹਿਤ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ) Nowhere is it mentioned in the Sikh Rahit Maryada that only Gurbani from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji can be recited – in fact – only the word “ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ” is used as the condition. According to the Mahan Kosh (The Encyclopedia of Sikhism), Gurbani connotes to the Sacred Bani revealed by the various Roops of SatGuru Nanak Dev Ji to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ : ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ (ਮਹਾਨ ਕੋਸ਼) For centuries, the sacred Gurbani revealed by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji has been recited at all Sikh Takhts, and Gurdwara Sahibs, never has anyone questioned the validity of this recitation.Disparaging Remarks on Sikh National Anthem In another video, at a different venue, Sarbjit Dhunda claims that the well-known Gurbani verses “ਦੇਹ ਸਿਵਾ ਬਰ ਮੋਹਿ ਇਹੈ ਸੁਭ ਕਰਮਨ ਤੇ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਨ ਟਰੋਂ ॥“, which are often referred to as the “Sikh National Anthem”, are not the work of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and that these verses promote the worship of Hindu deity Shiv Ji. The above comments illustrate Dhunda’s utter lack of understanding the depth of Guru Sahib's Divine Gurbani - this is not at all surprising since this Dhunda barely has a high-school education, and despite having no higher-level education, he continues to refer to himself as a "professor". Had Dhunda spent some time reciting and studying Gurbani, he would not be making these foolish claims. Guru Gobind Singh Ji clearly declares in Beni Chaupai: ਤਾ ਕੌ ਕਰਿ ਪਾਹਨ ਅਨੁਮਾਨਤ ॥ਮਹਾ ਮੂੜ੍ਹ ਕਛੁ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਜਾਨਤ ॥ The great fool thinks that God is a stone. But he does not know the difference between the two. ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਕੋ ਕਹਤ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਵ ॥ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਕਾ ਚੀਨਤ ਨਹਿ ਭਿਵ ॥੬॥ He continues calling Mahadev as the Eternal God (Shiv). But he does not know the secrets of the Formless God. (Benti Chaupai – P:10) Furthermore, Guru Arjan Dev Sahib Ji reveals in Raag Todee: ਨਿੰਦਕੁ ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਹਾਟਿਓ।। ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਸਿਵ ਕੈ ਬਾਣਿ ਸਿਰੁ ਕਾਟਿਓ ॥੧॥ The Supreme Lord has become merciful; with Lord's arrow, He has sliced off his head. ||1|| Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji reveals in Raag Ramkali: ਸਿਵ ਨਗਰੀ ਮਹਿ ਆਸਣੁ ਅਉਧੂ ਅਲਖੁ ਅਗੰਮੁ ਅਪਾਰੀ ॥੮॥ (ਮ:੧) The true hermit obtains a seat in the City of God, the invisible, inaccessible, infinite. ||8|| According to Dhunda's logic, even the verses in Guru Granth Sahib are promoting the worship of deity Shiva. It would not be surprising for Dhunda to eventually raise that as an issue. On stage Dhunda has routinely ridiculed various Gurmat traditions and practices such as Simran and Naam-Abhyiaas, yet when he was confronted in Calgary and Toronto by pro-Panthic individuals, he shamelessly claimed that he believed in the concept of Naam-Simran, Amritvela, and Gurmantar and had no issues with Dasam Bani. Yet, his venomous sermons on stage prove otherwise. Strict Action Needed by Sri Akal Takht Sahib Even after appearing at Sri Akal Takht, Sarbjit Dhunda has not stopped disparaging and distorting the sacred Bani of the Guru Gobind Singh Ji – it is high time for the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib to give Dhunda a final warning that either he cease and desist from his heretical sermons or face the same fate as the likes of Gurbakhsh Kala-Afghana, and Ragi Darshan. Dhunda’s latest disparaging remarks about the sacred Gurbani of Guru Gobind Singh Ji are nothing more than a feeble attempt by this lunatic to win back sympathy from some of his former cohorts who abandoned him after he appeared at Sri Akal Takht Sahib. They had chided him for recognizing the authority of Jathedars and succumbing to the beliefs and traditions followed by rest of the Panth. It is the duty of the entire Sikh community to keep the pressure on our Panthic institutions so heresy by troublemakers such as Dhunda does not go unnoticed and unpunished. Additionally, a keen eye must be kept on those who continue to promote and sponsor him during his trips abroad - as they are directly responsible for creating divisions amongst the Sikh diaspora. 18. Just for Share, http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Dasam_Granth_Sahib_on_Idol_Worship I was pasting text here but i get text as codes: ਕਾਹੂ ਲੈ ਪਾਹਨ ਪੂਜ ਧਰਯੋ ਸਿਰ ਕਾਹੂ ਲੈ ਲਿੰਗ ਗਰੇ ਲਟਕਾਇਓ ॥ Someone worshipped stone and placed it on his head. Someone hung the phallus (lingam) from his neck. ਕਾਹੂ ਲਖਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਅਵਾਚੀ ਦਿਸਾ ਮਹਿ ਕਾਹੂ ਪਛਾਹ ਕੋ ਸੀਸੁ ਨਿਵਾਇਓ ॥ Someone visualized God in the South and someone bowed his head towards the West. ਕੋਉ ਬੁਤਾਨ ਕੋ ਪੂਜਤ ਹੈ ਪਸੁ ਕੋਉ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਾਨ ਕੋ ਪੂਜਨ ਧਾਇਓ ॥ Some fool worships the idols and someone goes to worship the dead. ਕੂਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਉਰਿਝਓ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਜਗ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕੋ ਭੇਦੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਓ ॥੧੦॥੩੦॥ The whole world is entangled in false rituals and has not known the secret of Lord-God 10.30. (Akaal Ustat, Dasam Granth Sahib, Guru Gobind Singh)
  19. please also view this this article on adishakti.orgwhich shows that without referencing the rest of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's bani how Guru's words are taken out of context and words have diferent meanings to the Khalsa and Guru Gobind Singh Ji this article was originally published here with gurmukhi text and links - (the gurmukhi came out jumbled on the forum any ideas?) Here are some quotes from Nidar's Website www.<banned site filter activated> a well known preacher of Snatan Sikhi On Nidars website he likes to equate Mahakaal, Kaal and Akaal with Hindu misrepresentations. Even the designation 'Akal' was after all another designation of 'Shiva'. (Nidar Singh, ShastarVidiya, http://www.shastarvi...g/history14.jsp ) This is very similar to the arguments used by RSS and Arya Samajist Hindu's on their website like adishakti.orgsaying that Guru Gobind Singh ji worshipped Kalika Devi, because they have a different interpretation to the words that Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave us. Further clarification is within the same scriptures they use and quote from. But if we ask Guru Gobind Singh Ji then what does he say.... In due time Brahma appeared in physical form; in due time Shiva incarnated; In due time Vishnu manifested himself; all this is the play of the Temporal Lord.383. The Temporal Lord, who created Shiva, the Yogi; who created Brahma, the Master of the Vedas; The Temporal Lord who fashioned the entire world; I salute the same Lord.384. The Temporal Lord, who created the whole world; who created gods, demons and yakshas; He is the only one form the beginning to the end; I consider Him only my Guru.385. (Kabeyo Bach Benti Chaupai, 2259, Sri Dasam Granth) how can they be Mahakaal or Akaal if they were subject to death(Kaal)? On this page of Nidars Website http://www.shastarvi...g/history18.jsp Nidar quotes from Bachitar Natak (100, Sri Dasam Granth) and claims that Guru Gobind Singh ji personified Mahakaal in the same manner as the Shivite worshippers did of Shiva Akali Nihang Guru Gobind Singh personified 'Mahakaal', in the same manner as the above mentioned Shivite warrior ascetics: "“In Mahakaal's hand gleams the great terrifying sword and when he walks his ankle bells jingle. He has four beautiful arms. [On his head] is a beautiful topknot. His club is of good reputation...." Nidar Singh (http://www.shastarvi...g/history18.jsp ) Yet if you go back to Bachittar Natak and read the next Stanza from the one which he quotes from says the following; The moon is bearning on his head, seeing which the god Shiva feels shy. (101, Sri Dasam Granth) So how can Nidar claim this preposterous notion that Guru is describing or personifying Shiva? If Guru Gobind Singh categorically states that Shiva felt ashamed by the Beauty of Akaal). And if you go a few stanzas back Guru Gobind Singh ji says it again. The rosary of heads glorified his neck, seeing which the god Shiva feels abashed. (98 Sri Dasam Granth) These are all from the section of the Bachittar natak called "SRI KAAL JI KI USTAT" (the Euology of the Great Death) which also says the following He hath effaced many and then made (created) others. He destroys the created ones and then creates after effacing. None could comprehend the working of Death (KAL). Many have experienced it and many will experience it.26. Somewhere He hath created millions of the servants like Krishna. Somewhere He hath effaced and then created (many) like Rama. Many Muhammads had been on the earth. They were born and then died in their own times. 27. All the Prophets and saints of the past were conquered by Death (KAL), but none could conquer it (him). All the incarnations of Vishnu like Rama and Krishan were destroyed by KAL, but they could not destroy him. 28. All the indras and Chandras (moons) who came into being were destroyed by KAL, but they could not destroy him. All those Prophets, saints and hermits, who came into being, were all ultimately crushed under the grinder tooth of KAL.29. All the glorious kings like Mandhata were all bound down and thrown in the noose of KAL. Those who have remembered the Name of the Lord, have been saved, without coming under His refuge, millions are considered as having been killed by KAL.30. (Bachittar Natak, Sri Dasam Granth) But Nidar fails to make this known to the reader who is duped into thinking Guru Gobind Singh ji was actually describing Shiva by picking a few verses out of context. An interesting thing to note for others who want to be careful of mis-interpretation of words by Hindutva and arya samaj activists who seek to twist the message of Guru Gobind Singh ji and Dasam Granth In Chaupai Sahib Guru Gobind Singh ji clearly states..... (Kabeyo Bach Benti Chaupai, 2259, Sri Dasam Granth) Guru Gobind Singh Ji only saw the one who's avtar was one and only is the Guru he accepts, The Mahakaal above all. All other deities where subject to reincarnation and rebirth, as is evident from the same Guru Gobind Singh ji's writings that Nidar quotes from. There inumerous other parts of Dasam Granth that can also provide clarification on who Guru Gobind Singh Ji is and is not talking about.... Brahma, Shiva, Vishnu and Consort of Sachi (Indra) would ultimately fall in the noose of death. (41, Sri Dasam Granth) how can the Devtey be desingated to Mahakaal or Akaal if they were subject to death(Kaal) But the Vedas, Shiva, Rudra and Brahma could not Know His mystery and the secret of His notions. (75, Sri Dasam Granth) Guru Gobind Singh Ji also clarifies his use of terms by saying The fool claims boastfully about the knowledge of His secrets, which even the Vedas do not know.391. The fool considers Him a stone, but the great fool does not know any secret; He calls Shiva "The Eternal Lord, "but he does not know the secret of the Formless Lord.392. (Kabeyo Bach Benti Chaupai, 2261, Sri Dasam Granth) Guru Gobind Singh ji clearly says they call Mahadev(who Hindus call shiva) the eternal lord yet they knothing of Nirankar. Other Hindutva fundamentalists also claim the following refers to Devi Mata. Kirpa Karee Hum par Jag mata, Granth Kara Pooran Sabh Rata The Mother of the world has been kind towards me and I have completed the book this auspicious night; (Kabeyo Bach Benti Chaupai, 2263, Sri Dasam Granth) But if we ask Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj, the clarification is in this shabad. qUM myrw ipqw qUMhY myrw mwqw ] thoo maeraa pithaa thoo(n)hai maeraa maathaa || You are my Father, and You are my Mother. qUM myrw bMDpu qUM myrw BRwqw ] thoo maeraa ba(n)dhhap thoo maeraa bhraathaa || You are my Relative, and You are my Brother. qUM myrw rwKw sBnI QweI qw Bau kyhw kwVw jIau ]1] thoo maeraa raakhaa sabhanee thhaaee thaa bho kaehaa kaarraa jeeo ||1|| You are my Protector everywhere; why should I feel any fear or anxiety? ||1|| qumrI ik®pw qy quDu pCwxw ] thumaree kirapaa thae thudhh pashhaanaa || By Your Grace, I recognize You. qUM myrI Et qUMhY myrw mwxw ] thoo maeree outt thoo(n)hai maeraa maanaa || You are my Shelter, and You are my Honor. quJ ibnu dUjw Avru n koeI sBu qyrw Kylu AKwVw jIau ]2] thujh bin dhoojaa avar n koee sabh thaeraa khael akhaarraa jeeo ||2|| Without You, there is no other; the entire Universe is the Arena of Your Play. ||2|| (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Guru Arjan Dev Ji in Raag Maajh on Pannaa 103 ) Guru Gobind Singh ji adds in Jaap Sahib... NAMO PARAM GYATA, NAMO LOK MATA ॥52॥ Salutation to Thee O Supreme Knower Lord! Salutation to Thee O Universal Mother Lord! ||52|| (Jaap Sahib, Sri Dasam Granth) I would urge everyone to start reading Bachittar Natak for themselves so they can get a clear and honest view of Guru Gobind Singh Jis message, you will see that he bowed to no one but Akaal Purkh Vaheguru, and whoever reads this bani will also feel this profoundly and deeply - the timeless nature of vaheguru and the futile nature of all who are subject to his Natak (play). I leave you with this last passage from Bachittar Natak from the Paviter Mukhvak of Satguru Gobind Singh ji. RASAAVAL STANZA All the Ramas who incarnated, ultimately passed away. All the Krishnas, who had incarnated, have all passed away.70. All the gods who will come into being in future, they will all ultimately expire. Alll the Buddhas, who came into being, expired ultimately.71. All the god-kings, who came into being, ultimately passed away. All the demon-kings, who came into being, they were all destroyed by KAL.72. The incarnation Narsingh was also killed by KAL. The incarnation with grinder teeth (i.e. Boar) was killed by mighty KAL.73. Vaman, the Brahmin incarnation, was killed by KAL. The Fish incarnation of spatious mouth, was entrapped by KAL.74. All those who had come into being, they were all conquered by KAL. Those who will go under His Refuge, they will all be saved by him.75. 23. Bhai Pinderpal Singh Ji on Sri Dasam Granth and Sant Bhindrawale Renowned Sikh scholar and preacher, Bhai Pinderpal Singh Ji talks about the controversy surrounding the Sri Dasam Granth. He also talks boldly about the pious personality of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindrawale and those misusing his name today to gain fame. Many anti-Sikh individuals who oppose the Dasam Granth Sahib misuse the name of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale to do propaganda and mislead Sikh youth. Bhindrawale is a well-respected figure whose life and sacrifices are admired by the entire Sikh nation. Many of those who do not even adhere to the beliefs followed by Sant Ji often allege their affiliation with him. This katha by Bhai Pinderpal Singh Ji disperses lies being associated with the name of Sant Bhindrawale today. http://www.sikh24.com/2011/09/debunking-the-dasam-granth-controversy-%e2%80%93-part-2/
