  1. After the protests in Birmingham today, I found a quote on the Birmingham Mail website which I was confused about. It read; 'I'm actually quite baffled that there's a 'Sikh Division' of EDL' Then I found this... https://www.facebook.com/EDLSikhs What do people make of this? Are people already aware that this existed?
  2. this programme aired yesterday and was a very interesting watch http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03ghfyp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEYKgKOv7-c&feature=player_detailpage It's good that Tommy Robinson has distanced himself from racist elements and EDL and is understanding that there are still good people out there. It is important to engage with people regardless of how extreme we perceive them to be, as it is only through dialogue and sitting together that conflicts can be resolved. it's interesting to note that majid anwar of Quilliam foundation was a convicted extremist in al-mahajiroun and now campaigns against extremism, so if he can reform then maybe tommy can too. would like to hear the sangats views on this programme.
  3. BNP holding a demo in Whitehall today Have released this statement http://t.co/nODGSSMlED But apparently on twitter everyone's saying behind closed doors they threatened Singhs and are going to attack them and the vigil Can anyone confirm?
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeE-2IP_4gU I'm surprised that he seems so level minded, a big contrast from what the media has portrayed him and the general movement. It seems they are only against the radical elements and not against innocent Muslims and they don't advocate violence. I don't really feel any viciousness or hidden agenda other than a real concern coming from a fear from the Islamisation of the UK.
  5. I think this speech has to be the most intelligent and concise speech EDL's leader tommy has given yet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7cmijwvpD4
