  2. Please can sangat make an effort to attend: CANDLELIGHT MEMORIAL FOR GURKIREN KAUR LOYAL Gurkiren was a bubbly and friendly 8 year old who was born and bred in Birmingham. She was looking forward to her first family trip to India in the Easter 2013 school holidays. However, when she became dehydrated and was taken to a clinic in India, she was injected with an unknown substance and tragically, she died instantly. Councillor Narinder Kaur Kooner, Friends and Family of Gurkiren are organising a Candlelight Memorial in her memory. We would like you to join us on Saturday, 22nd June 2013 4.30pm-7.00pm At Centenary Square, Birmingham, B1 2HG PROGRAMME 4.30-5.30pm Come and Light a Candle Read Gurkiren’s story Sign Condolence Book/Card 5.30-5.45pm Ardaas 5.45pm Nishkam Children to say a prayer for Gurkiren 6.15pm Gurkiren’s Parents 6.30pm Speeches by Respected Guests We would like everyone to wear Red or Pink on the day as this was Gurkiren’s favourite colour and also to bring a candle and light it in her memory. Tshirts for the "Justice for Gurkiren" campaign will be made available on Friday – all proceeds will go towards the Campaign Fund. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND
