  1. A Glossary of the Tribes and Castes of the Punjab and North-West Frontier Province by Horace Arthur Rose in 1911, is a great little skim through to read. He mentions quite a bit about Sikhs and even dives into the caste dynamic in these regions.
  2. I was thinking about the political and religious influences which have shaped the modern Sikh identity. I then researched what past Sikhs perceived themselves as, whether Hindu or Sikh.
