Delhi – Aam Aaadmi Party (AAP) candidate, S. Jarnail Singh, from Rajouri Garden has won by 3,653 votes against his nearest rival Majinder Singh Sirsa of Shiromani Akali Dal Badal (SAD). AAP gave BJP a taste of its own medicine in the Delhi Assembly elections and was set to return to power with a record victory. It was a complete sweep by AAP and none could survive the sweep. AAP has given lok Sabha tickets to Sardar H.S. Pholka and Sardar Jarnail Singh (Delhi). AAP should get Sikh support they have done more for Sikhs than Badal and his Akalis.
