  1. Some prisons in the UK have started releasing inmates in order to prevent the Coronavirus from decimating the prison population. Aside from the fact that they're being removed from perhaps the most securest form of social isolation (?), I'm curious what some of you would do if you were responsible for such policies, particularly if these released prisoners went on to commit crimes. How do you balance the dignity of human life (including those of hardened criminals) with the severe threat they would pose to innocents? What if one of the prisoners went on to murder somebody? How would you justify it?
  2. You go to Punjab after a few months or years and you just can't believe how much things have changed in such a short space of time. One of the things that struck me on this last trip was just how rural Punjab is absolutely saturated with crazy mad stray dogs these days. I mean don't get me wrong....there were always stray dogs but now the situation is just totally out of control.....it's like there's been a 1000000% increase in the number of mad stray dogs. Let me tell you a story that might help describe the situation. Someone there told me that the days when a bajurg would get drunk and walk home through the village on his own in the dark are over. That was sooo 1980s and 1990s he'd say. These days, nobody does it, not because he doesn't drink but because a lone person walking through the fields at night will either get eaten alive by a pack of mad dogs or at least severely bitten. I even heard a story about a little toddler in my pend being eaten alive by some stray dogs after being dragged from his cot. I say if we don't want to use them as an economic benefit by selling them to the Koreans we should at least round em' all up and kill them. What say thee ?
  3. I used to prefer the old days. When we were known as good honest hard-working people living in our own homes. Things have changed. Lazyness is spreading like wildwire. Workshy is becoming the norm. Many thousands of our people live in council flats. We have our homeless freezing to death in the street and then, every now and then, a really REALLY bizarre story like this one crops up: An apni, who is a Law student in the UK, has been copying the life of another girl on social media to a really REALLY extreme level: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/dundee-student-accuses-classmate-cyberstalking-13614627 https://metro.co.uk/2018/11/21/instagram-copycat-took-same-pictures-as-another-student-for-two-years-8161591/
