  1. https://instagram.com/p/BW8JUN0FxAv/ URGENT - THE CONSEQUENCES OF NEGLECTING YOUR CHILDRENIn May 2016 sixteen year old Sandeep Kaur Samra left her home in Coventry and went missing. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/police-worried-teenage-girl-missing-11300823Sandeep was a vulnerable young girl who lived in a predominantly Islamic area. She had many questions about spirituality and expressed a strong desire to make steps to come closer to the Sikh faith. Regrettably this interest was deterred by her family. After identifying her vulnerability, Sandeep was targeted and radicalised by Islamic groups to the point she was ready to travel to Syria.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-40706563Sikh Youth UK were contacted regarding this case four weeks ago. Unfortunately, Sandeep had already been deeply radicalised and was at extremely high risk by this point. The media articles have not and will not reflect the reality of this case. THIS SITUATION DID NOT NEED TO HAPPEN!. All parents need to wake up and realise that children are at risk. If you have queries, suspicions or fears - please do not hesitate to contact Sikh Youth UK immediately.

  5. A young man (in his early 30's) from Surrey, Canada, has been missing for the last 3 weeks. People are beginning to become concerned as it's not like him at all. Normally, a day doesn't go by without his name or face appearing in the media. Family and friends are desperately concerned and fear his dissappearance may be connected to recent events in the Punjab region of India. Police issued a statement yesterday desperately asking him to make his whereabouts known. It is thought he may have gone into hiding in order to hide his own shame but the statement made clear that his safety and well-being is the only thing everyone is concerned about. We just want to know that he is OK....alive and well. It is thought his shame may emunate from the fact that, during the last elections in Punjab, he appeared in Badal's election campaign adverts, urging people to vote for Badal because "Badal is fantastic and the best thing thats ever happened to Punjab". Given recent events, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police think his recent inactivity and silence may perhaps be connected to the public support he gave to Badal. If you see this young man or know of his whereabouts please let the authorities know. Let anyone know. Police have issued a despiction: 5'8" tall. Brown complextion. Really really stupid haircut. Even funnier goatee beard. An excessive amount of cheap jewellery. Sometimes waves his arms around and walks like a bad actor doing a bad impression of a black or hispanic gangster. Addicted to the playground game 'Rock, Paper, Scissors'. Plays it everywhere he goes. All the time. Known by the name of 'Jazzy B'.
  6. I don't know where I'm supposed to be posting this, but I lost my budgie Kaka this morning and so I'm so depressed. Kaka was playing in the kitchen in its cage with his female friend until i saw it fly out the kitchen backdoor. I went out to look for it and have notified my estate neighbours, but there is no luck. what do I do? I'm so stressed/depressed, I don't feel like eating or drinking, and I can't think normal anymore. My poor lonely little boy is out there all by himself without no food, drink, shelter, warmth, love! He was little less than a year old, and was a little slow at functioning as he is disabled (mentally). I've had Kaka for 7 months, it was a daily routine to hear him chirp early in the morning, throughout the day, play with his female friend etc etc. Is this some sort of karmic debt that I had to pay, because I am now suffering, as well as himself.
  7. Police confirm body is of missing Bradford mum Seemberjeet Kaur 6:00am Saturday 7th December 2013 in News By Hannah Postles, T&A Reporter Seemberjeet Kaur Police last night confirmed the body of a woman pulled from the River Aire near Leeds is that of missing Bradford mum Seemberjeet Kaur. A member of the public reported a body in the water near Leeds station at about 1.35pm on Thursday – a little more than six weeks after the 35-year-old disappeared from her home in East Bowling. A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said a post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday and the body had been formally identified as Mrs Kaur. Her death was not being treated as suspicious and her next of kin had been informed, he added. The married mum sparked a massive police search when she failed to collect her daughter, who was three but has since turned four, from nursery on Wednesday, October 23. There had been no positive sightings of Mrs Kaur since about 1pm that day, when she was captured on CCTV on the Leeds-Liverpool canal towpath near Roberts Park, Saltaire. Mrs Kaur, who had been taking medication for depression, had taken a taxi to Salts Mill from her home at about 10am. Officers said they were particularly concerned for her welfare because she was suffering from anxiety and may wrongfully have had concerns about her health. Police underwater teams had been carrying out searches along the canal and the River Aire from Saltaire towards Leeds, as well as scouring the park, woods, gardens and outhouses. Detectives also carried out sonar searches concentrating on a small stretch of the River Aire which flows through Roberts Park. Two weeks after she went missing, officers carried out an ‘information seek’ operation in the park, where residents were shown a photograph of Mrs Kaur to jog their memories and asked to fill out questionnaires to establish whether they might have seen her. Her family had spoken of their hope she was still alive, saying her disappearance was out-of-character. The Coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held in Mrs Kaur’s death. http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/10862400.Police_confirm_body_is_of_missing_Bradford_mum_Seemberjeet_Kaur/
