Guru Nanak dev ji visited this place in 1506 AD and gave a karraa to villagers. Later a nihang Singh did sewa at this place and wrote a Pothi containing Chandi di vaar and other baanis. Even today 40 families in this village exist. They call themselves Sikhs but may be they hv started doing some Hindu things as they have lost contact with mainstream Sikhi for centuries.
