These database improvements will be downloaded to Shabad OS without requiring another major release for the desktop app. Be rest assured that the Shabad OS database is one of (if not the) most accurate representations of Sikh guru's, bhagat's, poet's writings ever! Volunteers have dedicated and will continue to dedicate hours of scrutinizing comparisons between physical sources and the digital database to ensure that we have scholarly levels of accuracy.
