  1. There was a fight in Renton Wa at the local Gurdwara. No idea what this is over, was hoping maybe someone had insight as to what is going on over there? Its apparently due to "religious difference going on within our community" and started a few weeks ago when there was another fight at Gurdwara in Kent.. Could it be related to that wedding that took place in California? https://www.kiro7.com/news/local/police-firefighters-respond-possible-assault-sikh-temple/6YMCWNFHSREE7GMH5PMO7YRRIQ/

  3. I need some help. I am a catholic, British female and my partner is a British sikh male. We want to get married this year and what to do the ceremony in a temple in India. Legally we won't be 'married' as I'm aware we have to be in the country for at least 30 days before they can pass everything and so we just want to do the ceremony in India then when we come home, legalise it here. My question however to you all is.... Will a temple allow me to have the ceremony seeing as I'm not sikh? ?

    Sikh Temple

Hello brothers, I have come here to respectfully ask for help, I am an architect currently working on a project for a Sikh Temple in central London and I have been researching about Sikhism - beeing impressed with the tought and the path of the religion, it has helped me get a good insight on it. Although I need your help so I can understand better what are the needs in a Sikh sacred space, I want to project a building that allows Sikhs in London to be able to do all the practices in confort and in a place that is adapted to them. thank you so much in advance and peace be with you.
  5. sat sri akal sangat ji just a little question that has been bothering me for a while...is it okay to call gurudwara sahib as sikh temple..can someone please shed some light on it?
  6. Gurfateh! Dass is a university student from London and has just published an article on the history of Sri Harmandar Sahib. It is the 6th article to be published as part of the 'Sikhi Explored' project. The writing style is targeted at Sikh Students and Sikh Youth, and gives them a detailed account of the sacrifices sikhs have made throughout the 18th and 19th centaury to protect Sri Darbar Sahib (as well as an overview of how it was constructed etc) Please check it out and share with other Sikhs. Website is www.kclsikhsoc.wordpress.com I'm confident all readers will learn at least something new, so do please read, regardless of your background knowledge. Forgive me for any mistakes, and feel free to leave comments or suggestions
