  1. There's a new twitter page and website that started up a few days ago called @patkaspotting it's made to shame people who were patka's. The person who started this page said their intention is to promote people to wear dastaars instead of patka's. In my opinion I think this is very wrong and it can even be considered as cyber bullying because the people on this page don't give permission for their pictures to be used (a lot of them don't even know their picture is used). Does anyone else think this isn't right? The website is http://patkaspotting.com

  5. Gurfateh! Could you please share your tips on turban/keski (washing) care? I hand-wash with detergent and disinfectant followed by fabric conditioner. I worry about a washing machine damaging the cloth and in the machine, inevitably black material gets covered in white strings and vice versa. Also my keski patka material gets damaged with regular/harsh washing- I sweat a lot and have to wash my material regularly. I swim wearing keski so need to disinfect and scrub vigerously to make sure it's clean (else I get scalp rash). How do you store your material after drying- do you do prepare it straight away or just bundle it up for future preparation? Does this affect the material? Tips?
  6. Wjkk, wjkf Hello everyone. I currently train in krav maga, and I tie a flat Jura and then wear a patka while I train. I am now thinking of getting into mma. But during the grappling part, wouldn't my patka come off? And I have a lot of hair so I can't do what Subaig Singh does. I heard that wearing ear protectors can keep my patka on. Are there any other options?
