Today 100 years ago, Archduke France Ferdinand was assassinated by a Serb which triggered World War 1. Millions of people died in this war. It led to the downfall of the German, Austrio Hungarian, Ottoman and Russian empires. Many thousands of Sikhs also fought in this war since the British had called up it's British Indian army.
