  2. Officer, 47, from Met Police's Parliamentary and diplomatic unit appears in court charged with nine further sex offences against four new victims - bringing total to 29 allegations from eight women PC David Carrick, of Stevenage, has been charged with another nine offences In total he is accused of 29 crimes against eight women between 2009 and 2020 Until his arrest the defendant had been based within the Met Police's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command Carrick is next due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on January 28 A police officer accused of multiple rapes appeared in court today charged with nine new charges against four women. PC David Carrick, 47, has been charged with another nine offences, meaning in total he is accused of 29 crimes against eight women between 2009 and 2020. Carrick, of Stevenage, Hertfordshire, had appeared in court in December accused of crimes relating to four alleged victims, but he has now been charged with additional offences linked to another four women. The latest charges are six counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, one count of assault by penetration and one count of coercive and controlling behaviour between 2009 and 2018. Until his arrest the defendant had been based within the Met Police's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command, but Carrick has now been suspended from duty. Carrick, wearing a grey suit, tie and black face mask, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today via a video-link from HMP Belmarsh, speaking only to confirm his name and date of birth. He was represented by Patrick Hill, while Natalie Carter appeared on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service. Senior District judge Paul Goldspring remanded Carrick in custody ahead of a mention hearing at St Albans Crown Court on January 28. Due to their severity, the charges were sent by Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring to St Albans Crown Court, where Carrick will next appear on January 28. A provisional trial date has been set for April. Carrick has already appeared at St Alban's Crown Court last month on different charges, where it was claimed he had raped one woman he met on dating app Tinder, falsely imprisoned another in a cupboard under the stairs, and sexually assaulted three of the complainants by urinating on them. The 29 counts that he is now facing are: 13 counts of rape, five counts of sexual assault, three counts of assault by penetration, three counts of coercive and controlling behaviour, two counts of false imprisonment, one count of attempted rape, one count of attempted sexual assault by penetration and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. Peter Burt, Senior District Crown Prosecutor for CPS Thames and Chiltern, said earlier this week: 'Following an ongoing investigation by Hertfordshire Constabulary, with continued support from the CPS, we have now charged David Carrick with a total of 29 alleged offences against eight women. 'We remind all concerned that criminal proceedings against the defendant are active and that he has a right to a fair trial. It is extremely important that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10394009/Met-Police-officer-appears-court-charged-nine-sex-offences.html

  4. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-52436350 A baby and a three-year-old boy have been stabbed to death at a home. Police were called to reports of a man and two children injured in Aldborough Road North in Ilford, east London, at about 17:30 BST on Sunday. A one-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene, while the boy died in hospital, the Met Police said. A 40-year-old man was also taken to hospital. Police said all three suffered knife injuries and that they were all known to each other. The Met has launched a murder investigation, but the force said it was not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths. Jas Athwal, the leader of Redbridge Council, tweeted: "Earlier today there was an incident in Ilford. Two young children have passed away & an investigation is ongoing. "My thoughts are with the family and wider community who are grieving this unspeakable tragedy."
  5. I went to a Nishaan keertan darbar at Brunel University a few weeks ago commemorating Guru Nanak's Gurpurb First I was excited that there were keertanis from different universities coming. However, most of the event was this midnight jathebandi rehnsbai stuff, just horrible, I just do not consider it keertan The keertani destroyed Rehraas and the Guru's hukam of each raag. Then the next day I went onto Connect2Sikhi Soundcloud and saw that most of the recent London uni darbars were all this pakhand stuff as well. I spoke to some sikhs and they had no idea this kind of keertan isn't normal, nevermind not being close to Guru hukam of raag. Look, it's nearly 2020, what is this nonsense in London sikh societies? It's like these jathebandis are still controlling them. and this event wasn't even BOSS, it was Nishaan! I remember how BOSS used to be controlled by certain jathebandis,! EDIT: worst thing is, this was meant to commemorate guru Nanak gurpurb, and this keertan was far from respectable from the keertan maryada set by Guru Nanak and Bhai Mardana playing Rabab

  7. Just watched a programme on BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05x9kfp on moped gang crime in London I learned some important messages, which I think we should all be aware of: They will go for easiest targets (obviously), including anyone at pedestrian crossing, anyone on footpath - anyone who is visibly using their phone, especially of wearing headphones (because these will be less aware of their surroundings). They will target bags which do not seem fully secured to their owners Always keep your phone in pocket when in public place. Don't think that if you are in a busy public street in London they cannot target you - if anything, this makes it easier for them when they want to run away.

  9. Recent cases have shown white chavy males are chucking acid on people in london. Racist Whites used to look down on ethnic minorities used to have this snobbish racist attitude towards brown/desi and middle eastern countries saying how backward they and their communities are. Not any more looks like the scummy evil yobs of the white community are just as bad if not worse and need to be dealt with very harshly. Most of the recent victims seem to be asian muslim people done by black or white attackers.. London met police are hiding the stats.
  10. Ilford shooting: Shocked Muslims help bloodied man who came into mosque after being shot and stabbed Some worshippers thought there had been another terror attack Mark Chandler a day ago Crime scene: A police cordon outside the centre Noreen Qayyum Shocked Muslims leaving prayers rushed to help when a bleeding man who had been shot and stabbed ran into a mosque saying he had been attacked. The victim, described as a clean-shaven Sikh man, staggered into the Ilford Community Centre on Eton Road just before 2pm on Monday, bleeding from his shoulder. Those at the centre called for an ambulance and police to help the wounded man. Bashir Chaudhry, chairman of the mosque, said some people feared another terror attack had taekn place after people were mowed down early on Monday morning outside a mosque in Finsbury Park. But he said worshippers reacted calmly to the situation. He told the Standard: "Someone walked into the centre and he was bleeding very badly. "When I spoke to him he said 'I've been attacked'. "I immediately called the police and ambulance. It's what anyone else would have done." Mr Chaudhry said the man then left the centre and he followed him out to a nearby house and waited for emergency services to arrive. Police: A probe is underway (Noreen Qayyum) "I tried to help him," he said. "At that time people were leaving the mosque and they saw him and he was very badly hurt. "He was bleeding from the back of his neck and his shoulder and from his face." "Some people misunderstood what had happened," he said. "They thought somebody had attacked the worshippers, that the mosque had been attacked, which is not right." "With what's been going on in Finsbury Park and other places, people are concerned really." A spokesman for the Met said: “Police in Redbridge are dealing after a man was shot and stabbed. “Officers were called at 2.02pm on Monday, 19 June, to Eton Road, Ilford, to reports a man armed with a knife. “Attending officers found a man in a residential address suffering from stab and gunshot wounds. “He was taken to an east London hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.” Police said there had been no arrests so far and the incident is not being treated as terror-related. It is believed the victim knew his attack, police said. =================================================================== I wonder if any essex ./ east london Sikhs know more about who the victim was and who the attacker is or his racial religious background. If this is found to be an anti-sikh hate crime it will help Sikhs physically wake up and form self defense groups and maybe to get govt funding for resources into protecting the community better.
  11. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39359158 Four people, including an armed police officer and a man believed to be the attacker, have died in a terrorist incident near the UK's Houses of Parliament, Scotland Yard has said. One of the victims was among several pedestrians hit by a car on Westminster Bridge, before it crashed. An officer protecting Parliament was stabbed by an attacker, who was shot by police. At least 20 people were injured, including three other officers. Acting Deputy Commissioner and head of counter terrorism at the Metropolitan Police, Mark Rowley, said a major terrorist investigation was under way. He said the attack started shortly before 15:00 GMT when the car was driven over Westminster Bridge, hitting and injuring a number of members of the public and the three police officers, who were on their way back from a commendation ceremony. Mr Rowley said after the car crashed, a man armed with the knife "continued the attack and tried to enter Parliament". Witnesses say there was what appeared to be a warning shout and then the crack of three or four shots before the attacker fell to the floor. Foreign Office minister Tobias Ellwood - a former Army officer whose brother died in the Bali terrorist bombing in 2002 - attempted mouth-to-mouth resuscitation of an injured police officer. Prime Minister Theresa May is to chair a meeting of the government's emergency Cobra committee later. Speaking ahead of the meeting, a Downing Street spokesman said: "The thoughts of the PM and the government are with those killed and injured in this appalling incident, and with their families." Metropolitan Police Federation chairman Ken Marsh said: "We offer our deepest sympathy to the family of the officer who has died. This incident shows the dangers our colleagues face on a daily basis. *False Flag? Why now? And what events will follow?*

  22. Let me just give some background info on my circumstances. I moved to London about 12 years ago and I have never really fully fitted in even though I tried. I have just had enough of the rude people here. Where I live there are mostly black/white/Asian people. Due to the large number of black people in London. The culture people follow is largely a black culture. ie the music the fashion and even they way they talk has become a dialect of Jamaican origin. I am originally from a town close to Manchester where people tend to be alot more reserved and respectful. I feel like I don't belong here. Its not like i want to go back up north as ive lived here so long. i just feel i don't belong anywhere even if I moved back. but something tells me I would be happier back close to the north somewhere. I live in a predominantly black and white area in the east of London. anyone got any ideas where I could move that is more friendlier then in east London. I know areas up north are also bad in certain parts. At these times i just feel like packing my bags and going back to Amritsar in india where my home region is back home.
  23. A Sikh lawyers turban was kicked off his head as he was beaten to the ground in a racist attack outside St Pauls Cathedral, a court has heard. Rashvinder Singh Panesar and his wife Sundeep Kaur Panesar were making their way home from a meeting in the City of London when they were set upon, the Old Bailey heard. Aravinth Kandasamy, 26, and Luxmanan Mahendran, 27, allegedly shouted 'lets kick his turban off' and 'kick it away' as they kicked and punched Mr Panesar in April last year. When Mrs Panesar, also a lawyer, tried to intervene and retrieve her husbands red turban, she was grabbed and almost knocked to the ground by Mahendran, it is alleged. The court heard Mr Panesar suffered a fractured nose, a chipped tooth, injured his knee and had both his contact lenses knocked out in the alleged attack, which took place in Carter Lane, at around 10.45pm on 26 April 2013. Kandasamy, of Ilford, Essex, and Mahendran, of Arnos Grove, north London, deny two counts of racially aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Mahendran also denies assault by beating. Prosecutor Louis French said: Mr and Mrs Panesar are Sikhs and in the custom that Sikhs have Mr Panesar was wearing a turban, quite a colourful one that night, it was red.' He said the couple had been to a meeting of the Society of Asian Lawyers. He said: It was about 10.30pm when they left the bar, walking together along Carter Lane crossing a pavement heading towards the cathedral. They went to the roadside and stood hoping to hail down a black cab. The couple noticed three men straight ahead of them, one of those men made an offensive remark tuck me in b****. One of the group said f*** you we are going to put you to sleep, were going to tuck you in. The two other men joined in these remarks which were being shouted. Another said: "F*** you, dont you know who we are?"' Mr French said it turned aggressive and the men 'seemed to be encouraging each other'. He said: These three men closed in on Mr Panesar and the verbal abuse continued, Mrs Panesar was called a b****. Mr Panesar was pushed to the ground and then set upon by the gang, the jury was told. They then started to quite seriously attack him by punching and kicking him, said Mr French. He was desperately stood there out-numbered and trying to fend them off. But in the course of this violent attack he was brought down to the ground where he was kicked and punched to his face, body and his back. One of the men shouted lets kick his turban off and thats precisely what was done. Mr Panesars turban was removed by kicking and another man shouted kick it away. Mrs Panesar ran over and went to try and retrieve it but as she did so she was grabbed and almost knocked to the ground. The person who did that was Mahendran. Both defendants claim that their alleged victim was aggressive towards them first, the court heard. The trial continues. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2543343/Sikh-lawyers-turban-kicked-head-beaten-ground-racist-attack-City-London.html
