Our childhood dog passed away at the hospital, he was a close family member. As far as I understand dogs become human once they are reincarnated in Sikhi. So does that mean we should celebrate and not mourn the death of our dog(brother) since he is now given the chance to become human? what do you guys think of dog death, and what is the best way to pray and hope for his best in future. thanks

I have a dog that fits into the big dog category. For dogs they do much better on raw meat diets than humans because that's the way they are built. Is it ok to feed my dog meat? I don't eat meat but the dog is not a human so does the same apply? You can feed it a vegetarian diet but it doesn't have the same effect on the dog as a meat diet does.

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! The article talks about how some Singh used his Dastar to save something. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/sikh-man-uses-turban-to-save-dog-from-drowning-india-canal-a7067391.html Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Does anyone know the kind of dogs (breed) that were kept by Sikhs during the Sikh Raaj or around that area (post or pre)? Or does anyone know of any sources that refer to Sikhs and keeping such pets?
