  1. From my observations it is apparent that most Sikhs are so politically correct so cucked that they are unable to see the facts staring them in the face and inability of speaking out against attacks targeting the Sikh community these days. They are quite happy to stay slient not drawn attention to the plight of their community if it means rocking the boat or offending someone. E.g UK muslim grooming/conversion rape gangs targetting vulnerable non-muslim girls scandal that has gone on for decades Bullying of turbanned Sikh school kids making it hard for them to have a confident childhood and upbringing Attacks by islamic extremists / jihadis on innocent Sikh or other non-muslim communities Attacks by Indian government or hindu extremists on Sikhs I put it down to usually having the fear of offending their muslim or hindu friends/ neighbours for speaking out against injustices on their community. Feeling if they did speak out they would have bad relations or be tarred as being some how racist or anti- the other group. Yet most muslims feel quite free to express their solidarity with other musilms suffering at the hands of non-muslims or western/eastern or even their muslim governments.
  2. Recently there has been few members on the site that have diverted topics into personal feuds and trolling with each other rather than post meaningful contributions towards topic. I see the lack of any moderation as its ruining the whole overall quality of the forum and its credibility. The moderator needs to come down strictly on users who start and engage in stupid abusive personal attacks and trolling its not funny its not clever its actually making them and Sikhs in general look like low IQ clowns as often portrayed in hindu indian films and muslim pakistani drama's. Also noticed infiltration by non-sikhs adding nonsense to the topics, one user in particular who pretends to be Sikh yet complain of islamophobia and mock guru ji's 52 commandments. His previous account was banned as he wanted mixed faith marriages for Sikh females to non-sikh men in order to depopulate and reduce Sikh demographics.
  3. Imo, I think the agenda behind Dhadri and co, is to create a separate Kaum. A off-spring of mainstream, Sikhism. Similar off springs can be seen at Dera Sacha Sauda, Radhaswamis and Nirankaris. Dhadri wants to be the main leader of the "New Sikhism" with "Modern translations and interpretations" of Gurbani. What do you think?
  4. CHANDIGARH: When Shiv (name changed), a resident of Kaithal in Haryana, cleared all tests and was selected to join the Indian Army's Sikh regiment in February 2016, instructors at the training centre felt that something was not right. Not only did he have a Hindu name, he couldn't speak even a few lines of Punjabi. When exposed, Shiv candidly admitted that he forged documents to show himself as a Sikh to join the Army. This is just one of 51 FIRs registered against young men from Haryana in the past two years who have tried to pass themselves off as Jatt Sikhs so that they can join the Army's Sikh regiment. It is also a reflection of the sheer desperation among youth in Haryana who see the Army as the only hope for them to earn a decent living. In most cases, the men were selected for the forces and were caught at the time of training at the Sikh regimental centres. The FIRs studied by TOI show that some of the aspirants had forged documents by adding the word 'Sikh' to their caste certificates. In other cases, they completed the baptism ritual in Sikhism - taking Amrit - at a gurdwara. However, they had completed the ritual after registering themselves for the Army selection process. The Indian Army has a number of community-specific regiments as cultural homogeneity has been observed to be a force multiplier during battles. It is a tradition followed since the British era. Simarjeet (name changed) could not articulate certain basic tenets of Sikhism when quizzed by officials at the Sikh regiment centre and later confessed that he had taken Amrit in a gurdwara after he was selected for the Army under the Sikh quota. Both Shiv and Simarjeet have been terminated from the Army and now face criminal cases. Terming it a dangerous trend, Col Vikram Singh Sankhla, director of the recruiting office at Ambala Cantonment, told TOI that it is difficult to identify such candidates during the selection process unless there is an apparent error in documentation. "Recently, we registered a case against four youths from Kaithal after they were sacked from the Sikh regiment centre," Sankhla said. "We find such cases in almost every recruitment process." If they were fit for army they should have been accommodated in other units. What a precious waste of resources.Sfk HMMalik Explaining the modus operandi, Balwant Rai, ASI and investigating officer, said, "A quick conversion to Sikhism is the most common modus operandi. They are also issued a certificate by the priest. We would not have been able to take action in many cases if the baptism had been done before registering for recruitment. But we found that a majority of those caught using forged minority quota documents, had undergone baptism after completing the selection process." Previously, 47 boys from Hisar, Jind, Fatehabad and Sirsa were booked in December 2015 on a complaint of Col R Ranjan for forging documents to join the Army. 30 of them had even joined the Sikh regiment's training centre. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/chandigarh/desperate-haryanvi-men-turn-fake-sikhs-to-join-army/articleshow/58849022.cms
  5. Whoever lives in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) in Ontario, Canada.... I CHALLENGE YOU to stand up and put an end to this pakhand which has destroyed so much of Sikh historical items in the past 100 years. It seems as though all of the negative cultural traits of indians come along with them to western countries, including this pakhand. If you were injured or had a disease, would you throw yourself in a fire? Even if you were beyond repair, would you throw yourself into a fire? Check this event happening very soon from now. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? http://akj.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8143&sid=e6b55ea88fe423479fd48cd07c1d301b http://gurmatbibek.com/forum/read.php?3,28353 Here are some comments from some sensible people: Even if out of 1,000,000 items there is one historical item...it is WORTH IT to stop this 'agan bhet' ceremony....because we cannot put any value on Sikh historical items. Sikh historical items are priceless and can never be re-created/replaced. Let us not just put an end to this in western countries. Let us put an end to this all over the world. Let us send out complaints to these so called 'leaders' who do these 'agan bhet' ceremonies. Let us send out complaints to SGPC and Akal Takhat Sahib which 'approves' of this.
