  1. If we don't have time to fix all, what would be the most important?
  2. WJKK WJKF ji, I'm an international student in US who used to be a really good student in Science. I came here to study strong fields of Computer Science which required to sell all property we had in India and also take debt. My parents only saw my dreams and sold all the property. After coming in the US, (I got into a few prestigious universities like UWaterloo) but chose an affordable one. The university is really for-money only and no education was found. I felt like cheated but couldn't do anything. I had no idea which University I should transfer to. I felt confused. I accepted it as Maharaj's Bhaana and attended this college. It's going to be almost an year. Really bad things happened with me I asked so many professors that I'm doing a research in making a device for blind people and various other interests I shared. All of them heavily discouraged me all the time. In classes, I was pointed out all the time. The professors wanted me to praise them for some reason, I felt like. All my internal peace and confident got murdered. This semester, I went through a financial hardships. I am only eating once in 2 days since the last 3 months. I've been trying really really hard to stay alright. But the professors killed all my confidence and self esteem. I have exams coming up and I'm so low I couldn't even study. Everything is failing. I have no idea what to do. I got a job but the Starbucks manager asked me to cut my beard which is hard although I used to trim it before. Everytime I try, the financial issue always comes up. I felt like I couldn't tie turban. I'm so poor after paying thousands of dollars in international & out-of-state tuition. I really wanted to ask my veer and bhenjis to please suggest me something. I'm really going through tough time. I've been in a situation where a large part of my funding is taken while returned nothing in education. I've been murdered internally. Please help.
  3. I heard some places around the uk which were doing nagar kirtan for more than decade have stopped doing them for vaisakhi. The east london one used to have a huge procession with 15,000-20,000 attendances that starting from rosebury gurdwara in manor park but has stopped for past 2 years now. Any one know what the reasons are?
  4. I'm originally from London, but study in Birmingham for university, and since coming here i've noticed the singh's from here are way different. Apparently it's normal to see singh's with full beards and paghs going clubbing and drinking, someone was telling me how he saw a full nihang singh in Mooch bar drinking alcohol with full saroop. Stuff like this would never be allowed in the area i am from. The singh's seem way more feminine and look like they can't defend themselves. Apneh girls at university are different breeds, i've seen so many apneh girls with <banned word filter activated>, it's unbelievable, what are there brothers/parents doing? i've also recently read about that Samra girl case where her parents stopped her from going into Sikhi and she then ended up planning to go to syria to be a sex slave... if it continues like this then we're going to be in decline. Have any of you read "Forbidden Truth" by Killa from Sikh unit, it's an accurate representation of everything bad going on in our community and more specifically in the midlands. I have attached the book for you to read, it's an eye opener and a read that would get you thinking. The-Forbidden-Truth.pdf

    Help marriage issue

Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh Sangat please help me with this problem i am having. I am from the UK, and my family is sikh. Although i do not believe in caste because i follow sikhi, my family is chamar. I met a girl while studying at university and we became friends, however this accidentally blossomed into love without meaning for it to. She is also sikh, but her family is Jatt, and they are very casteist. Although she herself does not believe in caste because she also tries to follow sikhi, her family believe in it strongly. Now we all know here that there is no jaat paat in Sikhi, is there a way to convince her family? I have met them before just as her friend and they assumed i am Jatt because they think I look like one. My and my family do not fall into any stereotypes they may have about lower castes for example: we are all fair skinned, we follow pure sikhi, we are relatively well off etc. I am very well educated, i have a good job and i get told that i am a very good natured and caring person. Another issue i have is her parents have said that she can marry a Jatt or a Tarkhan but not a Chamar. Surely marrying out of caste to any different caste should be treated the same. Please help with how to resolve this, and give me any advice you can. Thank you
  6. WJKK WJKF Forgive me if you are just completely tired of talking about Khalistan because I know the subject has been discussed to death. Just wanted to get some numbers on what people think, because I was thinking about working on a project in the future If you think I should add another choice to the questions, please let me know
  7. I was browsing on YouTube and found this video, I thought I would share.
