Only a disciplined team of honest, truthful and pious souls can face challenges of the times. Dal Khalsa president Harcharanjit Singh Dhami addressing the conference SYP President Parmjeet Singh Tanda addressing the gathering A view of march by Sikh Youth of Punjab Another view of march A view of gathering at the conference Referring to the upcoming controversial film 'Nanak Shah Fakir', he said that their group has a clear and unambiguous policy and we openly challenge those who are working on taking the entire community down through their blasphemous acts. The lack of action oriented programmes by Sikh religious bodies like SGPC and DSGMC wa most unfortunate. Wnewshile talking with media party leader Kanwar Pal Singh said since the last three weeks they have been urging, appealing and requesting the Jathedar Akal Takhat, SGPC, Censor Board, the Union as well as state governments to see the reason and ban the movie Nanak Shah Fakir but all have failed us. Since all are unrelenting to respect the Sikh sensitivities, we have been left with no choice but to fight against this new onslaughts. At the conclusion of the conference, a march was organized that culminated at Takht Kesgarh Sahib by performing an Ardas. Hundreds of boys and girls carrying Kesri flags, placards and banners were wearing T-shirts on which it was written 'defender of the faith'. They chanted slogans against the upcoming movie and its producer. Paramjit Singh Gazi, Harsimran Singh, youth leader Prabhjot Singh and Paramjit Singh Tanda also spoke on the occasion.
