I think it's pretty messed to have a contest about who's got the best beard and turban. If you have both ur already a winner, but hey that's my opinion.

how come it says the singh has to have an untrimmed beard but it doesn't say anything about the girl ? meaning she shouldn't do her eyebrows/upper lip, pierced ears (like the pic ) and make-up etc?

Both ‘Singh’ of the year & ‘Kaur’ of the year will get a special award. “Singh of the year” will get a “Gold Kalgi” and “Kaur of the year” will get “Gold Saggi-Full”.

- relates back to the Kalgi forum... nobody should wear a kalgi unless they have the status of our Kalgiya-wale Pathshaah (which no one has) and correct me if im wrong isnt a saggi-full that ugly triangle thing that sum women wear with suits/lenghas? haha if it is, who would want that?... and gold? ooooooooooooooooooo gold <_< in Sikhism doesnt gold have the same value as dust?

it's ridiculous to think that this 'sikh' girl can go to the trouble of getting her hair styled and braided in just the right way, put on lipstick, earings, a necklace, and a sash. And unless that pink sash is a gathra , I find it hard to believe that she's wearing a kirpan.
