However there's a 'Asian' forum where the Sangat are being cussed.

I know this barficulture forum is a waste of time, but it the panjabis who need to be eduacted on this issue, as they are the ones who have weddings in halls

Don't mean to be horrible but what happened was right.

Ok the ppl did not go about the right way with tacking out their kirpans but ppl shud learn that a sikh wedding should only occur in a gurdwara. To me if a wedding does not occur in a gurdwara then it is not classed as a sikh marrage.

I'm sure the girls parents could have waited a while to ahve the wedding occur in a gurdwara.
