Bibeksar Sahib is close to Sree Darbaar Sahib and was a sarover dug by Guru Arjan Dev jee as one of Amritsar's 5 sarovers.

The Akhand Keertanee Jatha has a ran sabaaee and amrit sinchaar there every month on the last saturday. The amrit sinchaars conducted there are done by sarblohi Singhs. Like all other punj pyaaray these Singhs must do amrit vela and baaNee and have very good jeevans, but the main difference is that all are Sarblohi.

bravekhalsa...........whateva ur sayin.....u shudnt say "they are not strict"......cuz by definition a true member of the panj is strict..........

if they are sarbloh bibeki then they are obviously doing naamjaap 24/7, never missing amritvela, and definately 100percent gurmukhs, because i think its virtually impossible to keep full bibek unless u are a maha gursikh........

actually.. i think you are wrong on that point.. bibek is EASY.. amritvela is HARD... im no maha gursikh.. im a maha pakhandi and maha manmukh :umm:

hahaha.. please dont think bibek makes someone special or higher than you or even better.. because that is absolutely not true. And bibek is very very easy compared to keeping a STRICT amritvela rehat.. and you should work on that, bibek is a side thing which will come naturally with naam jap.

mkhalsa.......this is probably the only time ive ever disagreed with u ohmy.gif lol bt im probably wrong

once u get into a real routine of amritvela it will be ok (ive only done it for week stretches myself).......but sarbloh bibek is like the hardest of the hard.......imagine if u were sarbloh bibeki......in the morning you wake up.....go to the fridge...wait a minute......cant have milk.....need to milk the cow urself (what if u havent got a cow?)......the cereal is jooth......so u think of having fruit insted.....now ideally u shud grow ur own fruit n it shud only b handled by gursikhs etc......so if u are following real bibek u cant even have supermarket fruit!.....go to the tap for some water.......but even then the water is a bit jooth.......i know singhs who get their water straight from a spring.......

im not saying bibeki singhs are better than non bibeki singhs....but it takes HUUUUUUGE amounts of self discipline to do that...maybe its easier in india, but my entire lifestyle/diet would have to change for bibek....whilst amritvela i could sortov slot into my daily routine......

having said that, i hve heard that amritvela is much more profound on the mind than bibek (not putting bibek down, iv heard that at a high spiritual level, amritvela is the time where one gets huuuuge amounts of raas from paath) so i guess it cud b argued eitha way.....

im not going to touch bibek till i move to india really......but my aim for now is to get into a nitnem routine then go back to doing amritvela daily.......and every

day i need to do more naamjaap!
